Bordered by an expansive nature preserve of mountains and desert, Scottsdale proudly embraces an Old West aesthetic, and even bills itself as “the West’s most Western town.” However, the city’s energetic nightlife has also drawn comparisons to Miami’s South Beach, with thousands of residents and visitors from all over the Phoenix area coming to live it up on the weekends. To top it off, Scottsdale boasts a thriving arts scene, which incorporates well over 100 galleries and the famous Scottsdale Art Festival; the Scottsdale ArtWalk is a popular community event on Thursday nights as well.
As if that weren’t enough to convince you to become a renter in this thriving metropolis, Scottsdale’s public schools are among the best in the state. The crime rate is well below the state and national averages, making this city a terrific place to raise a family.

Property Ratings at Casa Santa Fe
So happy we moved to Casa Santa Fe. The complex is clean and well kept with a generous amount of amenities. I feel safe walking around day or night. The staff has been wonderful since day one. Very attentive and understanding of our needs. I would recommend Casa Santa Fe to anyone looking to rent in Scottsdale.
Property Manager at Casa Santa Fe, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much, Lori! We miss you! We've truly appreciated your residency and want to thank you for taking the time out to share this glowing review of Casa Santa Fe! It makes us so happy to know you enjoyed an exceptional experience here and that our well-maintained grounds, relaxed community, and attentive staff served you so well throughout your time at our community! Congratulations on becoming a homeowner! We wish you the best of luck in this next chapter! Thanks again!
This apartment complex should be avoided by any apartment seekers. The staff is rude, the maintenance and quality of living here keeps going bad to worse. Pools are mossy and dirty, A/C and appliance barely work. All windows and doors are so deteriorated to the point where you can see daylight through doors, and the windows are so old and broken down they do not close correctly. Do yourself a huge favor and don't get locked into a lease with the company operating this place. I have not talked to a tenant of this residence that has anything good to say about this property.
Property Manager at Casa Santa Fe, Responded To This Review
We are really disappointed that you felt that you were not treated with the respect that all of our residents get and deserve during the time that they live here. I wish I would of had the opportunity to meet you and been given a chance to address the items that made you unhappy while you were a Resident at Casa Santa Fe Apartment Community. We never like to hear that someone was unhappy! Our Team is very diligent about their work and they take pride in how our residents portray our Community.
Spoke to one of the leasing agents and was told I would need a cosigner to not have a deposit. I went to the office on the day we had set for me to move in. Started doing some of the paper work which took over an hour as they were not prepared. Then I was told I still had to pay a half months rent for a deposit to move in, which is not what was previously communicated to me. The information I got on the first day had changed over and over with out any notification. I would not move in here as they obviously change things over and over with no notification. Be aware of what they tell you if you are looking to live here.
Think twice about renting here. To begin, they do have a cockroach infestation. I had my apartment treated by their pest control service several times and I still found them in my kitchen and bathroom. These are large roaches too. I also found two of them crawling up my blinds during my last month there. I moved out recently and they're trying to charge me over $300 for ridiculous stuff. They claim the carpet had to be treated for pet stains. There were no pets stains on that carpet when I moved out. They are also charging me to repaint the walls due to discoloration. I never did anything to the walls except hang up a few pictures with those Command hanging strips that come off clean. They're charging me a unit cleaning fee when I cleaned it thoroughly before I moved out. Like another review noted, this place went downhill when Greystar left. The people now in the leasing office lack the professionalism of the Greystar team. They look for every opportunity to charge you extra. I paid my rent every month on time. They wanted to raise my rent if I renewed my lease an extra $50 a month. It was a quiet place to work from home but the apartment lacked lighting and was dark and a bit depressing. Nice closet. If you want to live in beautiful Scottsdale, take your $1000 a month and find another community as there are some really nice ones in that area. Also, the parking is very limited and when you try to turn right or left onto 115th St, there are so many cars parked along the street you can't see the cars coming your direction.
The apartments have good layouts. They also have been renovating some of the apartments - which are nicely done. Bernice, the person in the office is extremely polite, confident and always helpful. The area is quiet and within walking distance to local grocery store and restaurants.
They don't care about the tenants or the grounds. Several of my neighbors who have been here 5 years are moving out. They have removed the rats traps, at night you see them running around. This place is going down, but the rent is going up. My rent was increase by 100.00.
have gone through 3 owners. the rent is increasing from 100 - 200 more per month. they cut down the olive trees. the pools need improvement
