Appleton is a charming, green city located about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. It straddles the Fox River at the north end of Lake Winnebago. In addition to a rolling, lush landscape with mature trees and river views, Appleton is a college town -- home to Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1847. You'll find plenty of student traffic on College Avenue, which houses Lawrence University. However, more students live nearer to the University of Wisconsin in Menasha, to the south of Appleton city limits. While looking for apartments in Appleton, be aware that this large city spans three counties: Winnebago County, Outgamie County, and Calumet County.

Property Ratings at Casaloma Creek Apartments
I’ve lived here for roughly 2yrs, but it’s honestly unreal how much this place is going downhill yet continues to be more expensive. I easily pay 200$ more per month than when I started, and for what? The physical quality of this building is not good: thin walls and floors, crooked doors and frames, and chipping/peeling paint. I can hear people sneeze a floor above me. Broken screen door on the day of move in, so clearly someone’s not doing full inspections. I’ve had 9 wasps squeeze their way into my bedroom window this summer bc they’re just so cheaply installed. Last year I had mold growing inside bc the caulk had expanded along the window frame. I’m also extremely allergic to mold and got sick because of it. Packages have been getting stolen for years (I just had one stolen a few weeks ago) and management won’t get a camera even though it’s been requested by residents. They tell us to just file a police report. I love the size and location of this place but they’d have a better chance at just redoing the entire place and maybe hiring people who actually care to help.
believe the negative reviews. apartments are filthy and dated, things have to be a city hazard to consider replacing them, lots of hidden fees in the lease like hallway light bill, water is split amongst all tenants, poor management. only time they care to reach out are for additional fees. only apply if desperate and if so, you're better off going to a shelter
Beautiful apartment. Changed rent dates without notifying tenants and would not reimburse any late fees. Garbage disposal is .5 miles away. You have to put your trash in your car and drive it there. Have had mail packages stolen - they put all your packages in the main hallway where anyone can access it (no cameras). They charge $50 to use the workout center, $50 for any replacement keys.Guests have to park .5 miles away
Terrible. Look elsewhere. They force you to pay for carpet cleaning at the end of the lease. "recommend" a cleaning business that you can schedule for a lower rate. If you don't they hire her for a higher rate ($75 an hour) and she will take 7 hours for even minor cleaning. $10 per lightbulb. The apartment was trashed when on move in day which we had to clean. They did not do an inspection or hire a cleaning service. Yet charged us for a service when we moved out. This will basically take up your whole security deposit. Your better off just not paying for the carpet cleaning and letting them use your security deposit to save yourself the cash. If you wish to go month to month at the end of a year long lease they charge an extra $200 a month to do so. On top of an already overpriced apartment complex that doesn't even have central air. Very obvious fake reviews online. TLDR; 1. Overpriced 2. Carpet cleaning & cleaning service required if you want any security deposit back. This doesn't include a required $100 labor fee crew to come in and inspect. 3. $200 extra per month to go month to month after 4. Management is terrible at communication. (ex: if you want to end lease, you need to hand mail in a reply or physically drive it to the GB office. You cannot even drop it off at the front office in Casaloma) 5. No central AC 6. Little Guest parking
Horrible management. Does not do post inspections after precious tenants move out. The apartments are gross and have not been professionally cleaned between tenants. They are difficult to work with as their “manager” was just given the job because she’s a family friend. She prefers to spend time with her friends during her working hours instead of managing the tenants and tending to requests.
Highly recommend these apartments. The management is amazing, very prompt on returning emails and always so friendly. Beautiful ponds to walk around, clean outdoor area for grilling by the clubhouse, and just overall maintained very well. Maintenance always replies within a timely fashion. Going to miss this place
Casaloma Creek is the perfect place to live. Quiet, safe, and well maintained property surrounded by trees and two beautiful ponds. Christie the property manager is amazing and always there to help with anything. Couldn't be happier here!
I have been living here for the past four years and cannot comment favorably enough on the new manager Christie. Christie always goes out of her way to ensure any requests are promptly dealt with and has been really great to interact with. The apartment is very conveniently located to Highway 41 and the Fox River Mall. Snow removal is done in a timely fashion and the property is well maintained. The service is truly exceptional and I would definitely recommend Casaloma Creek Apartments to any one looking to rent an apartment in the Fox Valley area.
I just want to say although I did not get the pleasure of living there I would like to share my wonderful experience working with Christie as she has went above and beyond her position to assist me with finding a new location to live. I would most definitely recommend a friend to Christie base on the property and the wonderful service Christie bring to what can feel challenging when it comes to finding a place call home. ony & I were looking for an apartment to move to together, as we were planning our wedding & were to be married soon. We looked through apartments, duplex's, & condo's. Checking out condo prices soon dropped that idea for us. I went to the website & searched trough all that Appleton had to offer. I have asthma & where I lived had smokers. My cough got worse. When I saw the Casaloma Apartments I feel in love with the design of the different apartment styles. I told Tony about them (he was living in Illinois), & after checking them out on the website, he agreed with me, beautiful. We both called Christi (the manager) who jumped through hoops to help us, because we had many questions. She told us it was non smoking & we should come & check them out. There was only one apartment open we could have but it turned out to be perfect. Christi is not your normal everyday manager, she introduced us to the maintenance person (Mike) & his wonderful wife (Robin) who also made our wedding (under Christi's direction) something special, by fixing a broken window a lawn mower had sent a rock into at the clubhouse)put things over the window while waiting to fix it, & added a CONGRATULATIONS on your WEDDING sign. Made tears in my eyes, & she put out as well a beautiful bouquet. This place is where Tony & I will spend the rest of our lives because we not only got a beautiful apartment we received a few great friends. Christi has gone well beyond any manager even dead into the night, and always lets us know how much she cares. We LOVE OUR NEW HOME & OUR NEW FRIENDS. I have been living here at casaloma creek for 3 years now. Since the new management, (Christie)more things have gotten done in a matter of hours and days rather than months and weeks. The management now goes above and beyond to make sure that I’m happy and comfortable for me and my new little family. I am so appreciative of the personal kindness I’ve been shown. Thank you.
I’ve lived here for five years & I love it. The new management I feel has been more proficient from the past owners. It’s quiet, clean, beautiful water views & fun seeing the dogs. Overall highly recommend to anyone.
Been here over 2 years. Very well kept and clean. Quiet area with a nice workout gym included.
