Property Ratings at Cascade
We specifically asked if we would hear the upstairs neighbors, that is, how effective between-floor soundproofing is in this building. Marco in the leasing office told us there were no issues whatsoever. However, there was constant noise from upstairs, making it difficult to sleep, and sounding like a troop of restless elephants. It's hard to understand how designers of such a new building could have failed to adequately engineer sound proofing between floors when the technology to do so has been around for a long time. Some apartments have good views, though overall it feels more like living in an office building than a home. Best attribute is nearby parks/lake front, but other buildings have that too.
Great amenities! The area is beautiful with the parks/dog parks. The staff is always friendly. The apartments are modern. Good place to live at.
I cant get on the basic app for building services, and to find out things like how to get my mail or events or announcements. I can only get on the rent cafe portal to pay The orientation link was broken. I have been here two weeks. Everyone in the office says they do not know anything about it. Really stressful!!! I give up. Not the best experience.
Amenities are good, but that's all they'll emphasize if you get a tour. The prices are way too expensive compared to other buildings, rooms are too small, walls are thin so you can hear loud neighbors, and lack of transparency from management i.e. regarding stolen items.
Property Manager at Cascade, Responded To This Review
Hello Jeremy, Since we are unable to locate your name in our system, we invite you to call the office as soon as possible to speak with a team member. We would appreciate the opportunity to determine your identity and show you some of our larger floor plans. We look forward to speaking with you! The Cascade Apartments Team
This building is absurdly poorly run and poorly constructed. It lived up to absolutely none of the leasing agent's promises. And despite that it's brand new, something new breaks in my unit on an almost weekly basis. Bottom line, unless you want to pay an obscene amount for a loud, janky building that's poorly run and unpleasant as hell, rent someplace else.
They gave us one price, then contracted a HIGHER price..... It was $150 a month more............ WHO does this kind of stuff????? I have it all on paper!! We've tried to discuss and NOTHING... GO elsewhere or read your contract over before signing.
