Property Ratings at Cascade Apartments
This place is overall ok. It gets the job done and the landscape staff are nice and try to keep things clean. However, there is a noticeable lack of communication and follow through with office staff. I have several examples of this, but here is one example: On move out, there was a misunderstanding with my last utility bill. I paid my last bill online, through resident portal, right after returning my key. Thirty minutes after paying, I received an email from the office saying that my last utility bill would be taken out of my deposit. However, I was moving states and didn't see this email until three days later. I called the office, chatted with the manager who said they would reimburse me for the double charge. I have emails to also back this up. Days turn in to weeks and still nothing. It has been almost two months since I moved out and every time I reach out I am talking to someone new and have to explain my situation. Recently, I have been informed that corporate was reviewing my case and "it doesn't seem like there was a double charge." That the utility bill didn't come out of my security deposit. So here are my issues with this: a) The office reached out to me and told me that there was a charge. I did not look at the money missing from security deposit and assume b) How on earth has it taken 2 months to get to that conclusion? Why is there not an itemized statement that lists the deductions from my deposit? c) This was something that felt like an honest misunderstanding and I tried to be understanding, but now I am left feeling skeptical of anything they say to me. d)most of the people living here are paycheck to paycheck. Don't mess with poor people's money and waste our time. At this point, I have given up on seeing any money and will live with the mystery if I was ever charged at all.
I'm a fairly new renter but i know what the management at this apartment complex tries to pull is beyond me. First off the management and rental consultants switch out every month or other month. They cannot keep the same property management because these apartments are trash. Straight up. The review for these apartments being trash is true, they didnt even unclog the bathtub or sinks before i moved in. The way they talk to you is extremely stand off ish as if they think they have some upper hand over you (And you're their renter, you are their paycheck!) ive only been here since july but i am definitely NOT renewing my lease. I'll be more than happy to live in a budget suites, they have better property management there and its so sad to say that.
In 2 days I've had 2 packages that mail carrier has put key in wrong mailbox and whoever took my packages actually stole them as did not make the attempt to bring to right apartment. Went and reported to the office and it's like they don't care.
This place is so infested with roaches ..... If I could post the pictures me and my roommate took i would. When my roommate and i moved we were given a dirty nasty apartment they even admitted to not cleaning it before hand. My roomate and i had to clean it and we had mentioned so many things wrong with the apartment. The roof had a water bubble the patio floor was made out of wood blocks that where broken and nails poping out when we would walk on it they would move we were scared of falling down from it. The apartment had dead roaches and roach poop everywhere in cabinets all in the kitchen under the bar stool all they did was paint over it and over the dead roaches the a/c ddnt work filter was dirty yellow stains underneath sinks bathroom and kitchen. It took months for them to fix everything completely. The manager Barbara would take days to respond back to our emails and when asking when are they gona fix things she would say we are under staff but when it came to rent she would send out emails reminding us rent is due. This place is really really horrible thank goodness my roommate and i were able to leave.
New owner and paint but DO NOT let a fresh paint job fool you. Behind those walls are ROACHES, bed bugs, and MOLD. Floors are uneven and sinking and the new materials used to replace tiles and floors are CHEAP and installed improperly. You better get renters insurance because you will need it. The townhomes do not have a washer/dryer but something is always leaking. There is a laundry facility on site but the machines are always OUT of ORDER. Cars are wrongfully towed and many renters have complained about their vehicles being broken into. Management is nice but is not accountable for mistakes that they make. Be sure to get everything in writing. Cascade Apartments are not worth what they charge.
This place is horrible. Can’t wait until my lease is up . Management wants to increase rent and nitpick at everything but when you have a problem in your house that needs maintenance they don’t give you exact time or exact day I’ve been here for seven months they use cheap paint and cheap material for everything. Cars are always being broken into and when you call the office they say the cameras are not facing towards the parking lot.
everything is broken and never gets fixed but the office people get a fancy new building. the people who live here drive obnoxiously loud cars and blast their music while still in parking lot. rent was increase for no reason while there are still things in my apartment that are broken
Do not live here they have roaches everywhere and don’t care about anything but money . Trash Overflows On A Daily Laundry Room Washer And Dryers Are Always Broke. It’s Always Trash Pile Up Outside It Do Move Here You Will Be Really Upset
I have been living here for three going on four years the office staff is excellent and kind especially the manager she is very kind and understanding (Barbara) I have been met with nothing but smiles she really cares about the community and is like family I wouldn't want to live any others place in henderson I have moved from one apt to another and she was very helpful in allowing me time to do so in a kind manner no issues with my new place and she is always smiling when I see her thankful to be here. ????
If you are a drug dealer or a Prostitute, you will be right at home here. Be very careful at night as homeless people frequent the laundry and pool area. You will not get any help from the office, they hide because of Covid.

theirs cockroaches all over i was watching YouTube and there was a cockroach crawled on my leg. Also some kids hop the wall that blocks off the apartment next too us and tried to beat me up when I went to walk around and explore for no reason but i do rate 2 stars because the actual apartment is nice new kitchen stuff

We have also reached out to their Management to make them aware of the kids that do jump the wall sometimes. The ladies in the office are great. They are always polite and professional. They are understanding and willing to work with u if life throws you a curve ball. Which most places dont care about anything but their money. The maintance crew is always smiling and friendly. They have been working hard on upgrading apartments and the amenities. It is a quite complex and the children who live here all play together nicely. I am happy with living here.
