Property Ratings at Castle Club Apartments
Just recently moved out I lived here since 2012. I have had good memories here but as far as management goes it has not been well I have a lot I can say but I will keep it recent I don't want to waste time on this since this place is not worth my time I just want people to be aware of what they are getting into the property manager is very unprofessional she talked down to me I'm the tenant she should be polite but instead she talked down to me she yelled there were people in the office very embarrassing all over parking spots there is so much more I have heard and have seen but I would be here to long so just be warned the place is nice but the property manager is a dictator
The manager of this property is horrible. She doesn't pay attention to the property the way she did when she first started. You can catch her outside smoking a cigarette before you see her walking the property to see what needs to be fixed or handled. There have been several occasions that there has been no heat or hot water in the building and nothing would be done about it. The bad part about it is that the manager lives on the property so these issues should be handled faster. Maintenance is very slow to fix things and that's if it even gets fixed. Cars get towed every single day. If you don't have a permit you must park in overflow which is not really safe to walk from in the middle of the night because not all of the buildings are close to that specific parking lot. When it snows the parking lot and sidewalks aren't cleared very well and you have to do the most just to dig your car out. Laundry is expensive. Your paying a large amount of money for rent and the only thing they really have to offer is a swimming pool. The price isn't worth it. I'm glad I got out of there when I had the chance to leave. Get rid of the manager and add a few more luxuries and this may become a better property.
I have lived at Castle Club for about 7 years now. There have been many of changes but all for the good of the property. The property manager has been very kind and helpful to my family. I'm not sure where I would be right now if it were for her consistent help and understanding. She has succeeded all of my expectations of living here and then some. Her door is always open when you need her. I feel completely safe here and when I have a complaint or need anything fixed with no hesitation my needs are met. The apartments are beautiful. I can honestly say that I have never felt more at home. The school district is excellent. It is within walking distance of a lot of convenient stores. If you are looking for a safe, cozy, comfortable place to call a home then this is the place for you.
Bad place to live dont move there u gonna be mad if u do!!!
The people in my building party EVERY Saturday and EVERY Sunday starting from the early afternoon. I am stressed out in my own home every weekend. They drive my out of my apartment. I have to think of places to go to escape it. I sleep with earplugs in. I am absolutely miserable. I asked for a very simple fix in my apartment weeks ago and it was never done. I will be moving the day my lease is up.
What a disappointment this place ended up being. Lived here for (2) years and sadly the new management did not improve much. I was told "all the things I wanted to hear" prior to moving in and truthfully I was lied to. Maintenance was absolutely TERRIBLE! Every single thing, large or small, was never fixed properly, took weeks to "fix", and several follow up calls just to get something repaired in the first place. The office was so hard to get a hold of anyone which was very frustrating. The new property manager had good intentions with trying to clean the place up and keep noise levels down, although she was unprofessional. Tenants are to relay on their landlords for problems, not the police. This is an expensive place to live. They don't tell you that the utilities (except Peco) are actually "fixed" and if you are conservative with your heat and water, it doesn't matter. You pay the same as everyone else in your building based on everyone else's use. I didn't find this out until I called the utility company directly when I was out of town over half the month and my bill was still $80 . After (2) years I never knew this. I also moved out a few days early from my lease and still haven't received my security deposit check after a month and a half of moving out!! I was told that I would be getting the full deposit back over the phone a month ago. I shouldn't be surprised that this is an issue, because every other aspect of this place was a constant issue. Rent kept increasing and the tenants have to pay more and more... It's sad, because the apartments are so nice inside, but goodness I would not recommend anyone to live here.
Been here for over 5 years and this place has gone down hill fast... It used to be a wonderful place to live and we felt safe. The mangemnt staff suck!! Getting something well don't hold ur breath... Rent goes up and the complex going down they rent to anybody and it used to be peaceful. People make noise at all hours of the nite but when bring to Deborah she says we need to contact police. We pay rent and we should not have to hear the crackheads that live next to us at all hours fighting and arguing. Nor should we need to be handling this,That's what the mangemnt staff is there for handle and make it peaceful It's been going on for MONTHS ... Ridiculous this place is not the place to it used to be at all... I rather pay more for peace and quiet and better place ... We are out!!!!
Castle Club used to be a nice homely community, but recent management change has resulted in good people leaving and bad management coming in. A lot of responsibilities have been handed over to tenants, additional restrictions have been enforced, absurd car towing harassment tactics are used, management harassing with wrong bills and scaring with eviction notices. The worst part is they themselves forget their own words and its tenants liability if he missed a document. Even the notices of late payment now have a subject "Notice to Leave" rather than a reminder. They have started charging for even toilet choking services and will fuss about extermination. Service calls are delayed by several days, and household junk stays near the trash area for several days. Let alone feeling homely, people dread that they would have to go back to this apartment complex due to lack of professionalism.
It used to be a nice place. But since new management took over in 2014, it has started going down the hill. Property Manager has turned this property like a hostel by introducing police rules. She sends out late notices with subject line stating stating "eviction notice." They add numbers to the bills and when you go and walk through the numbers, it does not make sense at all. They don't keep track of any paper work and towards the end put everything on the residents. Many long terms residents are leaving and new people are coming, which is putting the security of the complex in jeopardy.New residents get $300 off the first month and cheaper rents and old residents get no discount, even their rent increases as compared to new people. All of this adds to the negative feeling Overall, will not recommend this place to anyone except for someone who wants to live in a jail and wants to deal with impolite staff.
