Cheviot Hills is a tranquil and upscale community on the west side of Los Angeles. With a low population density, mature trees and picturesque streets, the Cheviot Hills area ensures residents are feel somewhat secluded from the hustle and bustle of the busy city around them.
Even though it feels private and isolated, Cheviot Hills' location ensures that residents can easily access all that L.A. has to offer. The high-rise office buildings and high-end shopping of Century City sits just to the neighborhood's north, along with the Twentieth Century Fox movie studio. Beverly Hills, Culver City and West L.A. are all blocks away, and the area has convenient access to downtown L.A. and Santa Monica as well.

Property Ratings at Castle Heights Apartments
My wife and I have lived here for the past 7 years & just bought our first home. The building is well kept and the management is great. We also love being able to walk to STARBUCKS in the morning. Would highly recommend!
This apartment complex is such a great place to live, and in the best area! It’s very clean, the building is always being taken care of, and very safe. Having the front door with call box and locked garage I always feel like I’m in a safe space. The apartment is wonderful with wood floors, new kitchen countertops, A/C, a fireplace and a cute balcony. Having a dishwasher and a parking space is a luxury in LA! The laundry room is new and has plenty of washers and dryers and I’ve never had to wait to use one. Being able to walk to the grocery store and other spots is also great. Laurie (the landlord) makes everything so easy and she’s truly a genuine and caring person. I recommend this place to anyone interested in a positive living experience in LA!
I've lived here for close to 20 years and never want to leave. I feel very safe here and the building is very quiet. Management does an incredible job in maintaining the cleanliness of the building and enforcing quiet enjoyment. Century City is only three miles one way. I walk to the Cheviot Hills Shopping Center which takes only four minutes. There is a Starbucks on the corner of National and Castle Heights among other popular retail establishments. Anyone would be lucky to live in this building. It's clean, convenient to shopping, freeways and the mall. I absolutely love that the building has an elevator, parking in a gated garage and security front door phone entry. If you're searching for an apartment, please drop by you won't be sorry.
I have lived in Castle Heights Apts for 5 1/2 years. The location is conveniently located near a wide mix of retail and restaurants. The laundry room is always available and the idea of having a grocery story near by is convenient. While there are many nice and comfortable amenities, by far the best part of this apartment community is the neighbors and especially our manager, Laurie, who excludes a genuine caring and easy-going personality while fostering an atmosphere of safety, order, and community.
I would like to share my experience after living in this apartment building for many years I call my home. The most important reason for me is that I feel safe for myself and my car wherever I live and trust me I do. Most of the time I have experienced this building to be quiet and if someone has started to be noisy they are asked to please stop. The apartment manager is very professional, helpful and kind, when I have had issues they have been taken care of expeditiously. I love my apartment, it is very quaint with a fireplace, high ceilings, balcony and much more. I must also add there are several long term tenants that live here. I would highly recommend living in this apartment building to anyone that also enjoys living in a lovely building that is safe, quiet and clean!
When my marriage fell apart 2 years ago after 40 years I was faced with finding an apartment for the first time in my life. My youngest son was moving with me so I needed a 2 bedroom, 2bath apt. I came across this place and was offered 2 different places to look at. One of which was a corner unit with the master bedroom having 2 windows and no other tenant. It was also more expensive because of the location. Well, I decided to take that unit. I was never informed of the fact that my bedroom window faced the Vons shopping center. OMG!! the noise is unbelievable. I have had to call the trash company who was picking up trash at 2am. Also the recycling company coming at unbelievable times of the day. The saddest part is that the management company has done nothing to help me. I pay a lot of money to live here and it's just not worth it. Each year they keep raising my rent and I continue to complain and they do nothing. And to make matters worse I have also dealt with termites. Since I now am a single parent I can't find an apartment that I can afford plus the cost of moving. I hope you would consider me for this incredible opportunity.
