Property Ratings at Catalina Condos
Grant you, the reviews posted are years old, and yet they are still correct. The grounds are not cleaned regularly. I have been renting here for 2 months now and trash is constant on the premises. People smoke wherever they please regardless of HOA rules and regulations. The noise is 24/7 from all neighbors and the kids running around at all hours, and I come home from work at 4 am so if people are still running around crazy at those hours that tells you something. Let's not get started on how many are uncourteous when it comes to parking in their designated parking spots. I've had to park in guest parking countless times due to my neighbor's sloppy parking jobs. Although I have an amazing landlord, I do not recommend living here
Please beware the blue building parking lot has a Rat problem. HOA does not keep up with ground keeping. Dumpsters are always dirty along with buildings stairways and hallways.
When I first went to see the apt the (sub letter) was very courteous and the place was immaculate. He works in the oil fields so at times he is home for months at a time. Home meaning he doesn't leave the house. He started becoming more peculiar and asking me about things in my room, so that's how I figured out he was snooping while I was at work, not that I had anything to hide, but still. He also tried to kiss me multiple times after I told him I wasn't interested. When I asked him to extend my lease by one month, because I was going on vacation and need a place to store my stuff, he told me to take my clothes off and he'd think about it. That was the straw that broke the camels back! He has zero friends and even less people skills.
