We have been living here for about 5 months months and we absolutely love it. Everyone is very friendly. The inside of the apartment is very nice and it is up to date. Laundry rooms are very clean as well. Location is great too!!
Just read the information ... its all accurate: the photos, the amenities, the location. Yes, its apt living in a high rent area (what isn't!) but it has good management and staff and well kept grounds and nice extra touches (i.e. murals in laundry room). Though right on Bascom, still reasonably quiet, good walkability - Pruneyard just a few blocks away ... go for it!
We have lived here for 6 years now and this is a wonderful community. We are a family of 4 and have lived in several apartments - this is one and only place we really fell in love with. Apartment management, staff, maintenance folks - everyone is super helpful and courteous. I have recommended 2 of my friends and they both are also staying in the same complex and loves it. Keep up the community spirit and good work guys.
The pool and hot tub is locked most of times for some (unknown) reasons that are not posted on the locked doors. When unlocked, the hot-tub has freezing cold water in it so is not of much use. The jets work but the water is cold (probably for energy saving reasons). Do not rent here if you expect to use the hot tub or pool.
I have lived here for over 3 years now. Living here has been a pleasure. It's quiet, clean and the staff is wonderful. The ladies in the office are nice and the maintenance staff are very friendly. The only downer is the parking. Not alot of visitor parking but other than that, its a great place to live.
What do you expect from apartment living? Personally, I didn't know what to expect having never experienced it. I looked at 14 complexes in many different areas, and found there were major issues with all of them. There were also the complexes that I never visited because nobody would even return my phone call. If they didn't call back an interested potential renter who wants to give them money, would they ever return a call if there was a problem? I finally discovered Cedar Glen in Campbell, CA. Wow, I knew right away this is where I wanted to live. The staff here is very friendly and went out of their way to show me two apartments that day. The manager lives on the premises, and it shows that she really cares about how this place is taken care of. The apartments are very clean and well maintained, inside and out. The landscape is very appealing and pleasant to walk around. You can easily see the staff takes pride in what they do. There is always parking for up to two cars per apartment. There are two swimming pools, a hot tub and a small fitness center. There is also a community room located adjacent to the office that tenants can use. Recently they had a BBQ and ice cream social for the tenants that was nice. I met some nice people there. Everyone seems very friendly. I feel very safe walking my dog around the complex and the surrounding neighborhoods. By the way, they do not charge pet rent. Try to find that anywhere else. Water and garbage are included with your rent payment. The rent was also one of the lowest I found. The complex is very conveniently located to the Pruneyard Shopping Mall, downtown Campbell restaurants, movie theaters, and the Los Gatos Creek Trail. The commute is easy with Hwy 17, 85 and light rail station a mile or two away. In the morning I usually get green lights all the way to Hamilton Ave where the freeway entrance is located.This area is not exceptionally busy considering where it is located. Also, there are lots of interesting small businesses on Bascom Ave that are not in strip malls that you rarely see anymore. It gives you that small town nostalgic feeling. I am very satisfied and happy here, and highly recommend it to anyone needing a nice place to live in this area.
I am happy and pleased of the service/maintenance they provide for this apartment. Management and the ladies at the front office are professional and efficient. They handles all my requests on a timely manner, Happy to be here now for 3 years.
It is a standard 1 bedroom apartment. It isn't bad or great. The management is poor- not around a lot, have ignored multiple emails and voice mails, and they are rude. It is very expensive for what you get. You are pretty much paying for living 3/4 mile away from downtown-and there are not shady people that live here which is very important. The only reason I haven't moved is because every other apartment complex in the South Bay and peninsula is just as expensive or more.
Since my move to ( Desiree and her staff, Laura and Louba with their quality of work. They are my to go kinda of people. They are quick in responding to your requests and their follow ups are great. Cory, Veronica and Tim are great people. they do a wonderful job. Thank you for all that you do for your tenants. Your team is awesome. I give you 5 star rating.
