When I moved in nearly a year ago my apartment wasn’t ready. It took me writing the corporate office to get anything done and things are still partially fixed almost a year later. My bathtub was painted over rather than replaced. It has begun to crack and peel. There is a terrible bug problem that is not addressed by the pest control I have paid for each month. Though they will come by, they will not treat your apartment if you aren’t home and they come in the middle of the day while people are at work. The office staff are very indifferent and do not care about the concerns of residents. The high school is across the street and kids smoke weed and throw trash all over the grounds making the community look terrible. Maintenance takes forever to come fix things and when they finally do it is patched up and half done. I cannot wait for my lease to be up

Very nice complex I love staying here but the only reason why I giving 4 stars is because recently they changed tow company's and they are limiting on how many visitors or how many times they can visit in a 7 day period. So the limit is 3 after that you cannot register anymore visitors.

I lived in Cedar Glen for 3 years. It was a really great experience coming from the country. My last year at Cedar Glen was excellent with the new management coming on board and doing all the upgrades and making the Apartments even more enjoyable with adding the lighting bringing in more security. You’ll love living at Cedar Glen!!!!
Cedar Glen Apartments is a great place to stay. As a long-time resident, the management and location are a real plus. It is truly a nice place to come home to. You'll be glad about your choice to make Cedar Glen your next home.
I can’t wait to move out of these Horrible apartments!!!!!! They go through management like you change underwear!!! ROACH INFESTED!!!!! It takes them WEEKS to fix anything!!!! They dictate where YOUR furniture can go in YOUR apartment that YOU PAY RENT FOR!!!! VERY OVER PRICED!!!!! DID I MENTION THE ROACHES!!!! Throw the whole apartments away!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! They did not clean the apartment before I moved in. I found a open condom in the closet!!!! It’s just sorry!!! My neighbors are cool. But these apartments are horrible and that’s the God Honest truth.
Please move to another apartments! It has been a nightmare. They have a new manager and he is very unprofessional! Huge issues while living there the last few years: 1. They make you pay $20 a month for parking! No parking comes with your apartment! 2. They required you have car insurance and attempt to regulate visitors! 3. They demand you have renters insurance and make you pay extra for utilities like water & trash! 4. They are slow if ever on fixing apartment repairs! They are always trashy! 5. They run the credit and criminal history of occupants even if they are children. 6. Across from a high school and bad kids are always causing noise at night! It is a horrible place and I'm moving out at the end of my lease in December.
We recently moved in on 8/12/17 and it has been a nightmare every since then. First, we were supposed to move in on 8/7 but was told that it wasn't ready as the carpet needed to be installed. Okay. We waited. We performed our walk through before moving in and the apartment still wasn't ready to move in. The drawers was off of the kitchen doors. Our mailbox key was not ready. The blinds were messed up, one of the burners on the stove did not match, the toilet ran etc. Mind you, the apartment just changed management and all of the staff was new and it was sparse. There was only one maintenance man from what I was told. So, we moved in, promising that everything would be corrected. It wasn't. It took them a week after moving in to fix what needed to be fixed. Then the toilet began TO LEAK... ALL OVER THE BATHROOM FLOOR. WE REPORTED THIS A WEEK AGO AND IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. This should be considered as an emergency and because they claim they are short handed, it has not been fixed. It is not our fault that they are short handed. They hired people to fix the roof but cannot hire more maintenance men to fix what is wrong within the apts. I am angry and I should have followed my instincts and not signed the lease. I am highly disappointed and will not recommend this complex to anyone.
Terrible... Nos mudamos en febrero y desde ese momento todo a sido pesadilla... Comenzando que el mismo dia de mudanza.. El apartamento no estaba limpio tuvimos que mudarnos asi por que pagamos a una compañia para mudarnos ese dia... Todo asquerozo. No tuvimos agua caliente como por un mes y el agua no salia fresca salia congelada. LO PROXIMO fue Los RATONES... VIVIMOS CON RATONES.. es una pesadilla.hemos matdos como unos 30 ratones y los que se han escapado. Y lo proximo el aire acondicionado se a dañado 3 veces la primera vez una semana sin aire un apartamento de 3 cuartos y 5 personas... Terrible la seginda vez fue igual y en estos momentos llevamos dos dias horrible con una temperatura en los 98 dentro del apt.El personal de la oficina ya a cambiado 3 veces en el poco tiempo que llevamos aqui... Terrible pagamos sobre 1, 300 mensuales..para arreglarte algo en tu apartamento son super pesimos son incompetentes. Yo no los recomiendo. Ya estamos locos por que termine el contrato para largarnos de esta porqueria de apartamento.... Y si creen que van a usar la piscina.. Ni lo piensen. Solo e hido a una y la mas grande hasta verde estaba el agua.. Terrible.
The air conditioning unit went out in 100 degree weather on a Friday and I contacted management the next day to get an update on when this can be fixed. My wife and I have small kids and needed a time frame on when this would be taken care of. Instead of showing any type of customer service skills, we were met with indifference and sarcasm. The person in the office was clueless and had no idea on when the work could be done and didn't care that we had kids in an apartment that felt like a furnace. Needless to say that we will not renew the lease when it's up due to the complete lack of customer service and professionalism.
The apartments are nice and they are older. The biggest issue is with the staff. The office is never open when we need it, and the overnight maintenance guy likes in Garland. So the staff isn very reliable, but the apartments are nice.
These apartments are very quite and nice to live in. They are on time with maintenance request and get it fixed in a timely manner. I've been staying there for a little over 5 years and they have been really great to me. These apartments are not too big and not to small in complex size. The people in the office make everything hospitable while your here to stay.
