I would not move here. This place has mice in my apartment the entire time I lived here and they did nothing to get rid of the issue! They knew they had a mice problem and knew where they were coming in but too cheap and horrible maintenance and management to fix the issue! Caught multiple mice in mice traps under my kitchen sink and stove the 4 years I lived there!!!! Oh and this was an issue in the entire building I lived in

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have been made aware of mouse activity in and around some of our units. We have multiple team members addressing the issue with bait stations outside of the buildings and small bait stations inside of the affected units. The reports have been over the course of this past month, and we immediately began treatment. There have definitely not been years of reports of this type. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review, and we wish you the best in your next home.
We moved into these apartments because they were affordable and in an area we liked. I have found the staff to be mostly helpful and genuinely nice. But I believe the management team is limited by the funds released to them from the owners. The potholes in the streets around the apartment complex are huge and have only continued to grow over the year and a half we have lived there. I understand that things need to happen in stages, but very little has been done to repair the roads since we moved in. The biggest pothole is actually in front of our building; there are actual small boulders coming out of it daily that we all drive around. It is clear that the owners don't live in the complex. And since the streets are private, the city apparently can't do anything about it. It is the eyesore of Lake Saint Louis.

The Apts are 30 years old and it shows. The roads are in desperate need of repair. The doors and windows are original and horrible. They refuse to replace anything. Maintenance staff is terrible. There have been manger after manger here like a revolving door. The gym and the laundry room are completely outdated. There are so many beautiful new properties opening all around. Can’t wait get out of this time warp. You have to pay $100 a month on top of the rent for water sewer and trash. Also you are required to pay $50 a month on top of the rent for Spectrum TV whether you want it or not so be sure to add $150 to what they say is your rent. There are dead trees all over the property that are an eyesore that have been here for several years. The clubhouse has nothing. This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Don’t move here.

I selected Cedar Lakes Apt because I had to move rather quickly, and sought my best value for a $1k budget. Pros: - I can't think of a more responsive staff. Everything I asked for was done within a couple days. - Awesome dog obstacle course - A couple miles from off leash dog park - Quiet and residents have been nothing but friendly - Close to 70 / 64 on either side - Great fitness room...large, plenty of mirrors, free weights, machine, cardio - I make video and their community center is top-notch with pool table. - Large playground about a mile away within walking distance. Cons: - Ok, this is the only con (understanding this is a value-based place to live. The roads have lots of pot holes. I brought this to the attention of apt mgr Lacy (high quality), and within a weekend she found a way to test a new filler on my specific drive. They are aware of the issue, and waiting on the city to complete a pipeline project in 2022 before repaving the entire community. I gave CLA a 5-star because of how responsive they have been trying to find a short-term fix. And it's winter so that adds additional complexities. - Bring a flashlight as outdoor lighting doesn't exist

Don’t apply to this place unless you are certain you want to go here. They have a clause in their $300 application for approval. It says after you apply and it turn it to them, they can take your $250 after 48 hours if you don’t join them. I was okay with the $50 application fee, but taking $250 from a disabled veteran! Wow really low.... I would not recommend on this basis. This is how they start business, I don’t want think business like this should house people.

I just moved in 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it here. The location is so convenient to 40, 70, 364 and the apartment is beautiful! They are repairing all the roads and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The apartment is beautiful with like new appliances gorgeous cabinets and flooring and the amenities are so well maintained. They have a large maintenance staff and the place is kept very very nice. The only thing I would change is that the cable hookup is included but the cable itself is a mandatory $50 not included in your rent. I have not had cable in 7 years and would rather not have it. But everything else is superb!!!!!!!!!!

I have lived here 6 months. So far it has been great. The maintenance department has been good. They even built me a gate on my patio so that I could let my dog out. They are great!!

I been here for about a year and I love living here. If I had a small problem the office was right there to help me. The club house is amazing. My neighbors and anyone i came across is so friendly. I love how they have the cable for a small cost and you get alot of channels. If you are looking for a great place they go to cedar lakes you won't regret it.

I’ve been living in Cedar Lakes for almost a year now. I had to move out of state in a rush and had a lot of trouble finding an apartment in the area on such notice. Luckily a friend that was also moving to the area found Cedar Lakes and referred me. Because they have the option to apply and pay application fees online it made the process of relocating that much easier as well as signing everything digitally. I moved on Easter Sunday because I had to start work the following day and the staff was kind enough to be available to give me my keys. I didn’t have a chance to see what my unit looked like before I moved in but I was happy that the carpet and microwave had been replaced new as well as freshly painted. There were a couple of problems but when I called the staff to put in a maintenance request they were prompt in getting someone from the maintenance crew to come fix the problem. The pool is really nice in the summer and never overcrowded and they have a gas grill that is available for use as well as a swanky party house if needed for personal gatherings. I also really appreciate that the gym is kept clean and maintained for everyday use. It’s a very quiet neighborhood and the complex fits into this setting. Considering how I moved blindly on the fly I’m overall quite satisfied with my experience at Cedar Lakes.

I know that title may sound a little weird, but as someone who has a technical degree in architecture, I know the importance of layout to a home from practicality to function. I have to say, I have never heard a peep from my neighbors and I've never head of them hearing me. With the way the apartments are laid out, I can be confident that, even though I don't come home from work until midnight, I can move around my home freely without worrying about waking anybody up who has to go to work the next morning.
