Property Ratings at Cedarwoods Condominiums
Poor communication with this property manager. She is very unprofessional and condescending. I was interested in this property and showed up early for a showing . The manager sent one word emails which was very little help. I arrived at the location provided on the email signature as the manager did not give direction or take any lead for this showing. I emailed and knocked at time of arrival and sat out side the location with no response or indication the manager would arrive. So I assumed naturally this was a business office as the address was provided on the email and opened the door as it was unlocked and to which I then realized was a residence. Not once did I enter the residence. Out of confusion I call the number on the email signature and advise I am at the location in the email signature and not sure if I’m in the right area . The manager began to accuse me of entering her residence and was again not helpful and did not declare if I was in the right area. She was rude and condescending . However, I was early made clear communication in multiple ways such as knock, email, and phone call. The manager still did not arrive to the showing. Given this first impression I would not want to invest my money here and live with terrible management. I advised the manager I am no longer interested,as she continued to belittle me and again did not give any lead in regard to her profession or reason of the meet up. I had to end the call because the manager was unprofessional , unpleasant and not helpful in any way. This was HORRIBLE.
I lived at Cedarwoods Condominiums for over 3 years and was stunned to learn about the pattern the property owner, Vintage Corporation has of keeping most renter's security deposits and billing them for full carpet replacement after they move-out! Other renters here have experienced the same issue at move regardless if they had a pet or not. Cedarwoods also had a vandalism issue that was bad enough they hired a security company to drive around randomly. I'd think twice before making the move to Cedarwoods/Vintage Corporation properties and do your research on both.
We lived here for a year till we bought our home. We loved all our neighbors. It was very quiet which was important to me. The place was nice and clean. We have 2 dogs and they accommodate for that.. which not everyone does. Maintenance came by usually every 3 months or so change filters and what not. Maintenance was always curteous and did a good job. They always took care of any issues. Nice peaceful place to live. Lupe was an awesome property manager. Snow was plowed from parking lots and sidewalks which I thought was nice. Apartment unit is nice, clean, and was a good size for the price. I would recommend it.
We rented our apartment in October after they were finished building the building. Its a nice clean and quiet place. If everyone picks up after their pets the grass stays clean. The management has taken care of anything that come up and has been very pleasant.
