Cedrics Landing is an idyllic sanctuary in the heart of Oakdale.Renter's Insurance is required for each resident. For every month no Renter's Insurance is supplied or maintained, a $12.00 fee will be charged. Beware! The management is questionable and typically rude, they are threatening to send my husband and I to collections over less than $100 in rent they say we owe them even though we gave them a 2 months written notice (agreement per our lease) with our intent to vacate. We delivered our notice the morning of November 1st to vacate on 12/31/16 (61 days notice!) and they are trying to charge us for the 1-3rd of January. We have agreed to pay the 1st since that technically could be considered 2 full calendar months notice and they are nickel and diming us over 2 additional days or threatening collections! Every time we re-signed our lease over the course of two and a half years they always bumped up the rent also and when we questioned the manager about it she claimed it was because the demand is so high yet when we were trying to leave after our two month notice the same manager told us that she didn't have anyone to rent the unit and we would be responsible for the whole month of January if she wasn't able to find someone. Though we were never personally affected, there were sporadic break-ins in the underground garage where bikes, etc were stolen. We were fortunate to have great neighbors that made the experience better but we are relieved to be out after dealing with rude and unreasonable management.
They respond pretty fast to maintenance and love how organize their website is. Putting in a maintenance order online was really easy and was quickly responded to. People in the office though we're really cold shouldered and didn't help out much once you move into the apartments though. Pool was also really good and the neighbor is really nice and convenient.
You really feel like you're getting your money's worth here. You can tell that the money you pay to live here is being put to good use. Shopping and restaurants are only five minutes away but at this place you feel like you're in the country. You stand on your balcony and there's a wooded area in the back. You can hear the crickets at night and even see STARS which is rare being so close to the city. They have a pool with two hot tubs with heated sidewalks for the winter. I love the staff here. They went above and beyond to make our move here as stress free as possible. Definitely a great place to live. I can see myself living here for a long time.
