This complex was excellent when I moved in 2017 and Perimeter Lofts owned it. Everything was grade A, the residents took pride in the community and it stayed clean & safe, I loved it. Once the property was sold to Celsius, it went downhill quick. Issues that are constantly reported but never addressed: poor maintenance request fulfillment, missed trash pick-up, visitors constantly parking in the residents spaces,trash in the parking lots, car theft and vandalism, filthy hall & breeze ways loud tenants, no amenities available and the outside of the buildings look awful.... do better. I would not recommend it and am happy I'm out of there!
If I could give 0 I would. BEWARE!!! It’s ghetto, trash is never picked up (even though you pay $25 a month fee) you can’t opt out of. Trashy, people breaking in cars!! Etc
In short- the property is poorly managed. It is insanely overpriced for what you get. The amenities are not kept up with, the leasing staff for one never have any answers, two never answer the phone and three never stay employed more than a month. They charge you insane hidden fees for everything and it is almost impossible to get anything settled. When I moved in 2017 the property was beautifully kept, prices were manageable, no hidden fees and the leasing staff was super helpful. Now that they are under new management I couldn’t end my lease fast enough.
They do not address issues when you bring it to their attention. Still waiting for the trash can by the mailboxes to be properly discarded. I walked into the office TWICE to let them know there is no trash can inside the iron barrel. So trash keeps getting thrown in, always overflowing. It’s not being taken care of properly nightly/daily as it should be. Eye sore and disgusting!!!!! Oh but they are aware if the problem but still have yet to do anything about it. Thus place has gone downhill instead of getting better with this 3rd management now.....BEWARE!!! Oh not to mention our ceiling still has yet to be painted after a water leakage months ago!
This place is terrible. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Once you sign your lease Hercules living could give a rats bottom about you. Prepare to pay high cost rent but look at trash on grounds everyday, fifthly exterior carpet thru the building hallways, not to MENTION THE FACT THAT HOMELESS PPL AND NON RESIDENTS ARE USING THE CLUBHOUSE BECAUSE THE BACK ENTRANCE REMAINS UNLOCKED. Run far from this place.... you deserve friendly and knowledgeable staff. You also deserve a gated community fir the price you will pay here. Totally not worth it.
The new company since the change is absolutely horrible. Most of the amenities at the complex do not function properly. In hom repairs take longer than a month to fix (and I had to visit a 2nd time to give a reminder). Some of the staff are rude and unprofessional to current tenants that rent versus "potential" tenants. I put in a replacement blind request over a month ago and it still wasn't done only to find out that I will be charge $58.00 for their cheap faulty blinds. There is no cosmetic damage or anything to the blinds...it was just cheap and broke. I have been a tenant with Perimeter Lofts for over 2 years and had no complaints until this new management took over. This was definitely a major downgrade. The apartment is actually great. Management leaves much to be desired.
Literally cars get broke into and stolen here all the time. MY CAR GOT STOLEN. If you value your vehicle move anywhere besides here. There have literally been multiple break ins, and fights. Literally had people screaming at the top of their lungs for hours and this is a regular occurrence. On top of that a awful man who ran a business out of his garage kept multiple people up for months! 1-4am seemed to be his working hours opening and shutting it all night!! We complained idk how many times with other people doing the same as well and after 7 months of this they just now did something. This is an awful area and complex to be in.DO NOT MOVE HERE.

This place is absolutely awful. Way over priced and get ready to never sleep because there is always maintenance at 930 vacuuming the halls and being loud. Upstairs is not insulated so you can hear everything. They also help themselves to entering your residence to check fire alarms.. save yourself a lot of stress and pick ANYWHERE else. I'm trapped for a couple more months.

So I paid application fee, administrative fees-which were supposed to be refunded because I work for a preferred employer, and had my credit pulled. Upon approval, I was quoted a higher price for the rent. I was treated like a liar when I asked why my rent was higher than quoted. I decided I did not want to live at a community where staff treats potential residents that way. I never was refunded my $150 "administrative fee" and was told I would have it back in a day. It's been over a month and when I last called, the agent sighed like I was bothering them and put me on hold to which they never picked up. I hung up after holding for over 15 minutes. Very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and the loss of my money. I would steer clear of this place.

The cops are here daily for noise complaints or domestic abuse. The sound travels through the floors so it sounds like people are stomping. People are constantly blaring music and speeding through the parking lots. The parking rules are not enforced as you see people who do not live here parked constantly in resident parking. There is vomit or trash left over after every weekend. The management has told us to expect the noise that travels as apartment living even though it is after quiet hours and very late. Management seems as though they care less.

Non-residents come and go from the common areas like they are open to the public and even though the management is quite aware of these circumstances, they choose to nothing about it. The pool area is filthy, despite outward appearance. Once you sign your lease, expect all customer service from the office to be immediately lost. They are only concerned about occupancy and not resident safety. Despite multiple acts of violence and vandalism, the office takes zero responsibility and makes zero initiative to curb these actions. In fact, they blame the residents for not being vigilant enough. If you do not wish to share your amenities with all the area's most undesirables, ( who don't even live here) then stay away from Perimeter Lofts phase 2!

Be warned…..All visitor’s cars are subject to towing! The sign clearly states a parking permit is required on the property. Towing occurs frequently from this complex according to the Deputy Sheriff and costs $225 to remove your car from the “N” Style Towing impound lot. Cash payments are encouraged and no receipts are given. This visitor has concerns that the excessive towing is a money-making proposition for the complex. Perimeter Lofts is a lovely apartment complex but unfortunately has a reputation for luring the residents to sign contracts then charging heavy fees and penalties. The excessive fees for lost parking passes, mailbox key, door key and exercise room key replacement as well as the excessive pet fees give the appearance of preying on its residents. Trash fees and warnings of “having your trash can out too long” are unpleasant and seem unnecessary. And now, having learned of the excessive towing, I am concerned that the complex can’t deal in an upfront way of having the rent cover the costs of living here.
My husband and I moved in here in December (2016), within two weeks we already had an incident; one of our cars was vandalized (slashed tires). They said they couldn't do anything about it. Things within the apartment are okay, but a little generic for the price we pay monthly. Staff seems to be friendly and maintenance is usually resolving any small issues we've had in a timely manner. Fast forward to now (March 2017) and another vandalism occurs with our other car, a hit and run, while it was parked in the lot. Again, they can't do anything I was told and to take it up with my insurance. Many issues in such a short amount of time. I doubt we will renew our lease when it's up.

Trying to leave was a nightmare. We were looking to buy a house about 3 months before our lease ended. I called the office to see what we would have to do to break out lease. The person I reached, I didn't remember her name, said that there were two options, one of them being if we gave a 60-day notice, there would be no fees and we would just, have to pay the rent if it didn't get re-leased. When I went to the office to give the notice, they said they don't do that. The only option was to pay 2 months in advance, which we didn't have due to buying a house. I asked repeatedly if there was any other option. They continued to say no, but offered to show me the paperwork that we would need to fill out. On the paperwork was a second option, give a 30 day notice and pay the rent if it didn't get re-leased. We only had 2 months left on the lease, so this was an obvious choice, but one that I had to find myself. This was only the beginning of the issues with Perimeter Lofts. We got a puppy shortly after moving in. By the time we moved out, he had shredded the edge of the carpet in just the living room. I was expecting to pay for it, I was shocked when I received a bill for almost $800. The pet fee was just that, not a deposit, so that didn't help at all. The existing carpet was a cheap shag carpet, so I knew it didn't cost that much. I asked to see the bill and I noticed it had vinyl plank installed through out the apartment. Basically, they tried to give us a bill for an upgrade. It took them a while, but they came back with a quote to replace just the carpet for the whole apartment, "due to wear patterns and possible different colors and not matching completely." I just figured I'd pay it and be done with it. Early on in this process, I had asked to be made aware as soon as the apartment was released. I found out because I checked online and no longer saw the apartment listed. I am sure they are busy and have a lot of people to keep up with, but I had just figured that since I spoken with them several time, keeping it respectful and professional every time, and they know our situation, that they would make the effort to let us know, but I guess not. We are finally done with Perimeter Lofts. As long as you stick to the lease, you should have many issues, but you never know what can happen...

I've lived here for over 2 years and have watched a formally nice property go down hill very quickly. The pool and grilling area get treated like a public park and the management isn't willing to enforce their own rules. It's no longer a safe neighborhood with an armed robbery and multiple car break-ins accruing this summer alone (2016). My opinion, stay away from north lake all together.
The front office hired a company to pressure wash the building and the water from the pressure washer got inside my apartment & ruined the floors. I called & sent a request to have someone clean it up & repair it, but no one showed up. I spent all night cleaning up someone else's mess, and when I told them everything that happened, they acted as if they didn't care.

Leaf blowers, 12-4am, most nights of the week. Gym air and equipment doesn't work. No propane in the grills.

I have lived here for 3 yrs and I can honestly say stay away. Staff is rude and for the price you pay its just not worth it. They do put on a good show to get you in here but after that they don't care about you as a customer.
