The front office closes at 6:00pm I have called the front office 5 times and they can't pick up the phone. How are they supposed to help anyone at all if they can't use a phone!

If I could give them zero stars I would... management and maintenance sucks which causes way more issues than needed. When my lease is up I’m out this dump!!

I am a senior engineering major at NCSU. I am also a non-traditional student, I retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2015. I would have to say that I would NEVER recommend this place to high school graduates looking to attend NCSU or the parents of those grads for 2 reasons. Those reasons are poor staff and cleanliness. Cleanliness is important. I would say that the grounds as a whole are kept to look nice on the outside, but the inside of the apartments resemble a 1800 home that hasn't been cared for since building. I had mold in multiple places on my popcorn ceiling, and reported it twice a month (to make sure they had not forgotten) and it was never dealt with at all. I am 100% positive that the current tenant in my old room still has the same mold spots except they are bigger now. The place has a certain musk about it that I would not willingly send my son to live in. My shower/tub was not sealed to the wall either which let moisture in every time I took a shower. The place is not very well maintained on the inside regardless of outside appearance. The staff at both of these locations is a joke as well. I would encourage any prospective tenant to attempt to contact any person that is employed by Centennial Ridge/Village on multiple days in a row. This would simulate that you had an actual problem and needed to speak with someone directly without walking into the office (take notice parents). I lived in the place for a year and was NEVER able to get in touch with any person by email or phone, I had to break my schedule to physically go into the office to speak with someone about it. This was extremely inconvenient, I felt as if I should be able to call my apartment office on the phone if I (as rent paying tenant) had a problem. I do not say this lightly, the staff is VERY unresponsive. My roommate had a dog that he kept in a cage 18 hours a day when I moved in, it whined and whined (disrupting any attempt to study) and I alerted the office in person eight (8) times over the course of my stay. The day that I moved out I heard the dog whining just as I had heard on the first day. One of my other roommates smoked weed and cigars inside of the apartment as well, I called the police once and alerted the office staff twelve (12) times before I decided that they simply did not care that he was using drugs and smoking in the place. The only thing they care about is if you pay your rent on time.

After living at this location for 2 years, I have come to realize that the people in the leasing office don't care about you being a broke college student. They want their money now or you will get evicted. While at other STUDENT apartment complexes such as Campus crossing, university woods, campus edge etc etc they will work with you. They understand that we are college students and that things come up, while centennial ridge doesn't care about you. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. How can you call yourself a student apartment when you won't work with me at all. They also barge in and out of your apartment with only a knock on the door and if you don't answer well guess what... they're coming in anyway. So ladies! BUY A ROBE! They have mice and roaches running around, but they have the nerve to raise the rent. If something breaks in your apartment expect to wait a month for it get to get fixed. They don't care about their tenants. I was excited about the new management but no, they're worse than the old guys. The apartment is very spacious, i'll give them that.. but THAT BIG MODEL BATHROOM THEY SHOW YOU ISN'T THE SIZE OF YOUR ACTUAL BATHROOM! They're showing you a handicapped bathroom, while yours is half that size. I haven't been able to use the gym because my key card never worked and when I went to them they promised to get it fixed NEVER HAPPENED. I can't wait until my lease is up in 2 weeks. FYI: the only reason I didn't move after the first year is because finding a new apartment is honestly a pain so I put up with their mess for an extra year but I can't take it anymore. BE WEARY OF WHAT YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE MOVE OUT FEES.
