Montrose’s Main Street looks like it could almost be anywhere, but the landscape that surrounds this Colorado town is anything but derivative. Set between Black Canyon and Uncompahgre National Forest, Montrose provides access to some of the most pristine wilderness the Southwest has to offer.
It’s an alluring place to live too. Residential areas spread out from the center of town, offering up ranch style homes and plenty of parks. There are apartments dotted all around the landscape too, some with amazing views of the mountains. If you don’t feel like hiking you can always spend an afternoon at Horsefly Brewing Company or any of the other popular spots on Townsend Ave.
Montrose is quite secluded, but there is a regional airport that makes domestic travel much easier.

Property Ratings at Centennial Towers
Going through the process of application, acceptance, and securing a HUD 30% of Social security apartment. Have chosen Centennial Towers in Montrose, Colorado. Will meet my needs within the building and also within community--convenient grocery store, on bus route, convenient to banks, shopping, recreation. Find VOA (Volunteers of America) a very nice property/building owner and management of Centennial Towers. Hope to be in my new home by summer, and enjoy the wonderful climate of Montrose also. Very appreciative that VOA makes the process simpler than many HUD subsidized rentals. A wonderful organization of America--thank you Volunteers of America. Sharon Tinsman--Grand Junction, Colorado.
