Property Ratings at Central Park Apartments
The staff are unresponsive, until they need money. They are inflexible and out for money over humanity. Do not rent here.
The management here is not human. They look for reasons to be cold and callous about maintenance request.
We loved living at Central Park! We lived here for 3 years and have always had pleasant experiences with the staff. They do a great job maintaining the apartments and grounds, and they added a dog park recently for your furry friend! They have events going on and do a great job with communication via email or the app. We are moving out of state, but have really enjoyed our time here.
I had a very horrible experience ever since the new management took over. They kept increasing the pricing and the staff is very rude and unfriendly. The kitchen too is infested with wood bugs which keeps coming out no matter what spray you use. I will never come back to this place until the AMP management is gone or the office staff is changed.
Extreme irresponsibility and insolent office staff. We signed an application for leasing an apartment and paid the deposit too. But, we didn't hear back from them regarding the status of our application not even by our expected joining date. When we tried to contact them regarding the status of our application, the call goes to VM and no one got back to us. After many calls and emails, all we came to know was that the Manager was on leave. So, they couldn't process our application on time and they promised that they will refund our deposit. It's been more than three months but we didn't get our money back. There is no response from them when we are trying to reach them regarding our refund. The insincerity of their staff makes me feel disgusting. I really believe that what they really want is money. It is totally a HOAX! So be careful. Better not to write an application at this community. You might loose your money for no mistake of yours.
I recently moved out of Central park Apartments because I graduated and took a job in another state. I loved living here! The office staff was so friendly, helpful and informative! They have gone through some staff changes and improvements around the property. They are remolding the clubhouse and updating their apartments. I cant wait to see pictures when the clubhouse is done. This new management company is doing great things to Central Park and giving it the TLC it desperately needed. I'm going to miss the girls in the office Bri, Haley and Jessica were always so nice and seemed like they really care about the residents and the property. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!!
they know how to get extra more money from you ...i stayed for 1 year ..i maintained apartment very neat still they charged me 600 $ without proper reason..when i ask for the exact details ..they started scolding me....they are very arrogant ..maintenance is very bad ...they closed gym almost 4 months..in name of renovation... i suggest do not join this apartment..
Six years back when I moved into this apartment, it was a dream place to live in here. Even I had recommended and brought my friends to move in to this place. We never had issues with maintenance services or office staff. Even staff was very polite and was eager to listen to residents. BUT things has changed completely now, since the new management has taken over. We had biggest festival of the year when plumbing work was scheduled. I stopped by at the office couple of times and requested to postpone for one day so that we can celebrate our festival and anyhow we were supposed to be moving out of the apartment in 2-3 days. But I did not receive any response from the management. Finally they arrived on the day, plumbing was scheduled and kind of forced us to move around the stuff. Also, when they did that plumbing work, you can not stay in your apartment. I have little kids and had to roam around on the roads while they were working especially on our biggest festival of the year. No accommodations were provided by management as they were supposed to and no compensation was provided from rent too. When we moved out of the apartment, as a routine procedure inspection was supposed to be done and we were supposed to notify of possible charges. But nothing was done, even we did not received any bill until my husband personally stopped by at office to inquire about the bill. The staff(Jessica) over there talked to him so unprofessionally and rudely AND said, "we don't care if you didn't receive the bill. As per our records, we already had sent out a mail. If you don't pay it on time we will send it to collection agency." Also We were overcharged for little things and she is not at all wants to resolve the issue. All they want is your money. I would not recommend anybody to move into this place.
Very Arrogant and Disrespectful leasing office staff...New Management is least bothered about maintenance. Our dishwasher is not NOT WORKING since past 12 days, from July 31st...everytime we go there they just say you are on our list, someone will be there tomorrow...but no-one showed up as of Aug 11th. POOR Really POOR Management and staff:(
Do not rent this apartment!! The apartment is under new management & they are disrespectful and arrogant!! I have been living at Central Park apartments for the past three years and for over a year, I have been complaining about a sewer smell coming from the washroom. Maintenance switched out the old washing machine, because they thought that was the reason for the stench; however, the smell returned after using the new machine. Maintenance have used a few washing machine cleaner over the past several months to clean the machine and the smell would dissipate for a few days then return after I do laundry. I called the rental’s office on Monday January 30, 2017 to have someone fix this problem yet again and I was completely disrespected by the office manager. I am currently waiting for them to figure out what is causing this sewer smell. I will be taking further actions to get this issue resolved. It is long overdue. I will update my review regarding this problem. UPDATE! March 8, 2017 As I write this update I am suffering from the stench emitting from the washroom. The managers have promised to move us from this apartment to another apartment; therefore, we are awaiting that move. I suffer from headaches whenever the smell arises and it is excruciating to say the least. I am sick just living in this apartment and simply sick and tired of complaining. Nobody should have to live like this for the amount of money we pay for rent. I am not even upset anymore I am simply sick, but I am waiting for the authorities to do something, anything to get me out of this apartment.
Team is good and helpful, but they add charges that they won't tell during inspection. So we have to wait for surprise charges and can expect security deposit gone. Mostly agree with 3 reviews below. We lost $1000 by living here. For one spot on carpet they did not need to change whole house carpet. They could change just that room or even fix. But they say whole apartment and charged $900. Then they added counter top marks, which were there since we moved in. Staff were good maintenance were always helpful. But if management trying best to extract charges by whatever means, what could staff do about it. Management needs to have better ethics and principles then everything else will go right
Extreme irresponsibility and insolent office staff who definitely can be called crook! We signed the waiting list for the beginning of September and pay their 300 dollars for deposit. They promised they would give back our money if no apartment offered to us on time. But the fact is they did not offer the apartment we want on time and they DIDN’T GIVE BACK OUR MONEY! The reasons they give us were they called us and leave a voice mail, which we did not receive at all. “I assume the phone was worked because I left a voice mail” “I did not make it up, I really want you guys live here.” Those ridiculous words directly come from their crook staff without one word change. The insincerity of their staff makes me feel disgusting. If they really want we stay at this community, they will connect us through both email and phone. I really believe that what they really want is money. It is totally a HOAX! So be careful, keep your phone full of battery and never out of service if you signed their waiting list, because they would charge you for that.
The people who work at the office are crooks. When I first moved in they tried to get me to pay the Consumers bill for the people who lived in the apartment before me. They sent me the bill, used white out to cover up the other persons name, wrote mine in (they didn't even spell my name right), and sent it to me in an envelope that was addressed from them. I called to ask why they would do this and said that it has nothing to do with them and to contact Consumers.. When the envelope they sent the bill in was addressed from them. Needless to say, I did not pay the bill and would advise you to keep looking for an apartment complex that is not ran by crooks! The day we moved in we realized that there was a family of 6 living above us. This would be fine but these buildings are basically made out of paper and we could hear EVERYTHING they did. Every move they made we could hear. Also, they were very disrespectful and let there kids run, stomp, and jump around. We complained to the office multiple times and they did nothing about it. If you wish to get a good nights sleep, want to actually hear your TV/Music without having it on full blast, or if you would even like to hear yourself think, rethink this apartment complex.
I would highly recommend finding another apartment complex to live at. First of all the rent price is significantly higher compared to other nearby complexes. The amenities although very impressive at first are mostly unavailable/not working. I have experienced that the hot tub was not working on several occasions. I have had a lot of problems with ants in my laundry room with several ant nests despite spraying the area multiple times a month with insect spray. The hallway and apartments stink due to neighbors. The walls are thin and you can literally hear everything that is going on in your neighbor's apartments. There is a significant problem with the lack of lighting in the carports. In the winter the snow and sidewalks are not cleaned promptly leading to me falling and injurying myself and breaking my phone on 1 out of the 2 occasions. And the entrance to the complex has the worst road paving job ever, so much so that it will take the front end of your car out if you do not drive super slow and carefully. The insulation job is horrible. When I moved in I noted that the air conditioning air was leaking into the room outside with the furnace. This is unacceptable as the gas prices run so high, so I am having to pay for a room that I have no access to. When I brought this up to the office staff the room was promptly locked and I was told everything was taken care of. I was never allowed access to it again to see if the problem was actually taken care of or not. The maintenance staff will respond to all complaints quickly, however, that does not necessarily mean they actually fix anything be it a broken screen door (remains broken for the past 2 years) or mold in the bathroom that continues to grow or the furnace room outside that is filthy and falling apart in terms of the insulation and up keep of that area. Lastly, and most importantly the office staff as well as their management staff is incompetent and will lie to your face. I will warn anyone who would ever consider renting from Eyde company they are very unprofessional in the way they handle any tenet concerns.
