Property Ratings at Central Park Apartments
We had a “remodeled” apartment and things were coming undone by the first month of us living there. The community is not the best and complaints are not taken seriously. We were literally counting down the days for our lease to end. Our neighbors who moved in around the same time were on the same boat, I’d be surprised if anyone renewed their lease.
Manager no adequate supervision of the working crew. They didnt make proper repair so the problem continues, the bathroom foor wet due to the licking. The tenant has not allowed us to barbeque, but the crews families are allowed.
We moved into a newly remodeled two bedroom 2 months ago and love the huge open kitchen & wood floors. Lots of families of all sizes. The staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. The grounds are well-kept and the maintenance staff is fairly quick to resolve any issues that tenants may have in their homes. The gym is very clean and never too busy. Overall, happy with our choice to move here thus far.
The quality of living in these apartments is well below average. The apartments are poorly constructed (doors not fitting into their frames, cabinets that can't open because they are blocked by light fixtures, etc.). The air conditioner wall unit does not reach the bedrooms, making the apartment inhabitable in summer. Not to mention the single-pane windows allow the heat to come in and the cold breezes to enter in winter. Management raises the rent every year, even at a higher cost than for new renters! You can see their posts online for available units at a cheaper cost than my apartment even though it's the exact same floorplan! The cost may be a little lower than other options, but that small amount of money is worth not living here!
I moved in to this apartment after I graduated from college and couldn't be happier. You're only 10minutes from downtown San Jose, and 5 minutes from downtown Campbell. The apartment is nothing special but great for just getting started. Neighborhood is quiet but the street parking is always taken. I recommend this apartment for someone who is looking to get started. Whatever that means to you.
Nice location to grocery stores, but rent is getting to expensive.. And sadly the apartment complex has noisy tenants which management rarely does anything about.
I really love this Apartment! 2 bedroom/2 bath. It is 99% complaint free! The rent goes up 8% a year. My 1% of complaint is there is no adequate government rent cap control in San Jose, CA. 8% a year raise in rent is more than most employers give their employees evety year. The amenities are really good. High-point is NO BUGS. Other than a few flies or a spider. No ants the unmentionables. Great even-steven management. New rule...eveyone must have renters insurance. Current rent per 12 month lease for my unit (After recent 8% increase.) is $2,025 mo. The maitenance requests are serviced within 2-days. The assigned parking is watched over by security patrols. We are gated. There is ground maitenance as well. I have lived here 17 years. There is also a daily serviced swim pool. Cold but worth it every summer. The appliances are new. Air conditioned. When stuff wears out, the management replaces it. No problem!
