Property Ratings at Central Park Apartments & Townhomes
Me & my boyfriend first place together and we love it, nice and quiet. Very spacious, barely ever have a problem.. and when we do management & maintenance responds right away. Also, they are really good with keeping the community updated with information about things that are going on in the area. We have been here for 8 months, and have already decided to renew when it’s time. Definitely recommend living here.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We're glad to hear you had a great experience with our team and hope you're still enjoying your home.
I've been here almost a year. Maintenance is okay they take their time fixing things. The sewage is horrible pipes smell horrible I can smell pipes in the bathroom and basement. I feel they are a little overpriced for rent. If you are looking for something more modern this is not the place. They painted the inside of my bathroom tub the paint chips often come off when I'm cleaning the tub. They have mildew issues in the bathroom. The place was poorly put together and kept before I moved in. People are moving in and out of these townhouses and it is impossible for someone to properly clean a place within a week. They charge $100.00 a day for late rent there is no grace period like most places. Ventilation is horrible not many vents in the house and these townhouses hold in dust like you wouldn't believe. Ceilings are low if you are tall this is not the place for you as well. I mean yeah you get a basement with your 2-4 bedroom townhouse but it's not the best. I think this place was perfect for me because it was my first place but now I know exactly what I want when I leave. Also if you are good in the kitchen there is not much counter space and most townhomes have one sink and stove is not up to date or refrigerator. The good part about it you can ask maintenance to put in new appliances in your place. I have a 2 bedroom townhouse it's decent I've been here almost a year (8 months). Unfortunately, I am not where I need to be so I have to sign a lease for another year they went up $30.00 on rent but I need to know why. I can honestly say there is nothing new they added or improved so I'm not understanding why they went up on my rent.
I moved in September 2017. At first things seemed to be ok. The claimed they were in the process of re-paving the parking lot and repainting the lines. Which is very important because there is assigned parking. That never happened and other tenants claim this has been a promise for two years now. Everyday I come home my parking space is virtually gone because people park too close. But that’s minor. Very soon after I moved in my basement flooded from a minor rain. They do not have a solution for this. Now for the last three months I have been having raw sewage back up into the basement and my tub. They have been claiming they that they are working on it but every time I call for a progress status no one knows what’s going on and nothing is being done about it. What ever you do don’t move in this community it is not worth it by any stretch
Do not rent one bedrooms from them they don't care to clean it maintenance comes whenever they are very careless with your personal property glad to leave
The townhouse is nice and spacious. The lack of consideration from the neighbors and staff is horrible. Before I moved in I asked for a place on the end or between elders because I don't like noise. The woman in the office said she had a perfect place for me,days before I moved in I did a drive by and noticed my neighbor has kids lots of them. Granted I do have a five year old but my child has manners, respect for others and is far from loud. Like I said the townhouse is nice but the walls are super thin you can hear EVERYTHING!!! The day after I completely moved in (April 5th, 2017)i had to file a noise complaint. The kids next door were so loud I felt like I had to call the police because I thought they were being abused. Now today (April 20th,2017) I'm calling in again to file another complaint this time it will be followed by a call to CPS at this point I'm convinced the kids are home alone.
The maintance staff is completelly unreliable, they claim that maintance will be completed within in 24 to 48 hours I have been waiting now all most three weeks for blinds, and a new toliet they do not care how they treat new renters can not wait to move out of here, staff talks a good game until they have your money. I would not recommend living here to my worst enemy, remember old places have thin walls so I can hear my downstairs neighbor full conversations, when she leaves the house, and her dog barking always even when I have my television on. Floors look terrible, they claimed they was going to clean the apartment it was not clean, very last minute crew they just do not care.
The main problem here is the apartments are old, and not kept up. Plus, if you don't have a parking sticker, your car gets towed and it costs you 250 bucks to get it back. The heating system leaves a lot to be desired also. The pipes are old. I have had to have them out twice due to clogs. and the hardwood floors are not varnished at all.
I enjoy Central Park apartments. I have a 2 bedroom townhouse. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is good and so is the elementary for that jurisdiction. I dnt care for the squeekie stairs and only having the option for 1 bathroom but it's livable.
The townhome is nice to live in and spaceous enough for a 3 to 4 living family. But I want something of my own because I currently live with my mother and her husband and I share a room with my little sister because its only a 2 bedroom townhome. Decent size kitchen and basement but the kitchen is still crowded with 3 to 4 people at once. Everything runs smoothly. The neighbors are good. It's just time for me to move out I'm 26 years old...I have been more than ready to move out on my own.
The apartment was updated and well maintain. Management was very helpful and resourceful. The only concern would be the basement which get's water in from the exterior. Needs better sealant to prevent water in basement. Other than that, convenient to downtown amenities.
Walls are paper thin, people don't pick-up after their dogs, not enough maintenance to keep property up, the management allows predatory towing when there is no need and I wish they where as vigilant with things such as upkeep of property, residents dump constantly in areas clearly marked "No Dumping" with no consequence and there tends to be discarded items ie tv's, old furniture somethimes clothes always, talk a good game while showing property however don't deliver, there are about 500 sat dishes that are very unsightly. For the most part it is quite with the exception of being able to hear through paper thin walls. I basically know what my neigbor is watching on tv because walls so thin.
Me and my family had to down size and we found these townhomes and wow coming from a 2800 sq foot home we have found there is still space to have and keep alot of things that we own.The staff has been wonderful. We move in a 2 bedroom floor nice and shining. Clean appilnace we cloundn't telll they was use. Nice and queit arear. We have live here for 6 months and we enjoy the service recieved from the office. Maintenance keep the grounds nice and clean, fast snow removal. Over all great place to live.
I'm paying $695 for a one bedroom apartment. The tile in my kitchen is peeling up from underneath the stove. The stove also has a huge rust hole on the side of it. The A/C units barely work, they don't blow cold enough. The windows are extremely drafty in the winter so my heat bill goes up. They only pay for your garbage bill so you pay every other utility. You get ONE parking spot unless you pay $50 a month extra for another. My neighbors are extremely rude. For what I'm paying here, I could have bought a house in cash already. I would NEVER recommend living here to anybody, even my worst enemy.
