Property Ratings at Central Park at East Bay
Excelentes apartamentos, muy buena zona para vivir.
Good Very good recommended
Several months of unit not being usable. Having to go through lawsuit and had to serve them a notice to cure due to testing positive of mold that they have tried to cover up. Stay far away.
Worst place I’ve ever had to live in. Severely roach infested. The management was horrible! This complex needs to be completely demolished… bugs everywhere, gross, unsanitary, broken appliances, unnecessary fees, terrible management, moldy air conditioning units and much, much more. Stay far away.
I have never seen such a disgusting apartment complex. Cockroaches in our apartment. We have a regular exterminator but it doesn't help because they live in next door apartments and the walls of the building. We couldn't leave any food out - even for a little bit or it would have cockroaches on it. We basically don't use anything in the kitchen. Carlee, building manager, seems to find joy in being horrible - argumentative, unhelpful, never available and very rude. Resident turnover is high and those who stay have no choice. "Dog park," "playground" and "pool" are a joke - rundown, dirty, poorly maintained and gross. Rumor has it that residents were offered money to put in good reviews. The place was recently painted, so it looks nicer, but it's still dirty. Stay away.
I’ve read all the other reviews, I’m just going to give my personal opinion! My personal experience! We have been here for almost, 2 weeks. Carlee has been awesome to us! She is getting things done and you can tell by the way neighbors talk! We love that she does walk throughs daily and keeps an eye on things that need to be done! Probably one of the best property managers I’ve ever met. And she does NOT have an easy job! Our building is quite the little community. Everyone has each other’s backs and helps one another. A bunch of fun characters for sure!! When I put maintenance requests in, Louis (I guess he is new) is there the next day! He knows what he is doing and doesn’t stop until the job is done right. I’ve never seen a busier man!! He’s great! I adore our apartment! It’s clean, freshly painted, and feels like home. We love the pool and the grove! Our dog loves walking in the grove and loves the dog park!! The buildings are being repainted and look beautiful! We signed a years lease and don’t regret it at all! It’s so peaceful here! I love the landscaping and all the different varieties of birds! When you step outside in the morning the birds are singing, the sun is shining and you feel safe! What more can I ask for!?! The only thing I wish is that we could have regular patio furniture since we spend most of our waking time outside.
This place is terrible, bad management with poor communication. Bad maintenance who will take forever to "fix" anything, roaches, broken windows, the apartments look nothing like advertised, theft, this place is absolutely terrible. Don't be fooled, you'd be better off somewhere else.
if I could give this place 0 stars I would.. awful management, roach infested, and paper thin walls and window. Oh and don’t expect Mainenance to fix broken appliances! Do not rent here.
I am almost 7 months pregnant (single mom to be) and I just moved in here April of this year. This is the WORST place to rent from. There’s a guy above me who sells and uses hard drugs (fentanyl) right out of his apartment. He’s been arrested TWICE ON THE PROPERTY FOR THIS within the LAST MONTH. Not to mention, he screams at the top of his lungs all hours day/night waking the entire side of the building. He bangs on the walls and his floor/my ceiling CONSTANTLY all hours and doesn’t stop. This causes my puppy to get anxious because it sounds like an earthquake. He’s literally been carried down the stairs into cop custody just a few weeks ago by largo pd. I wish I could post pics and vids. I’ve tried and tried to work with the management company but they just don’t care. The poor cops that work for the Largo PD is my only salvation at a good night sleep, about once a week. I’m high risk pregnant and having constant homeless people in and out of the apartment, gathering near my bedroom window, sleeping in the community park and laundry room (one almost OD’d in the park right before 4th of July 2020) when the guy above kicks them out of his apartment..it’s scary!!!! ...I mean the list of why to NOT move here goes on and on. I’ve been trying to get them to do something since April and the staff does NOTHING about this guy! All they care about is their money! DONT RENT HERE...it is literally not safe!!! Look up the call logs at Largo PD if you’d like to see the activity for yourself. I wish I could post all the pics and vids I have from the times Largo PD has been called by our building because we all just want to sleep but we can’t because of this guy. Please don’t rent here, you’ll regret it if you do.
Absolutely hate it here , DO NOT MOVE IN! The new owners are beyond disrespectful and talk to you like your in first grade. Instead of worrying about the holes in our ceiling , the HORRIBLE plumbing or the roach and rat problem we’re having. They prefer to put notes on your door about having a kitten. Literally the worst place to live!!! I repeat , DO NOT MOVE IN
Great community !!! Amazing place to live !!! Wonderful New Management
After moving to Florida 6 years ago and bouncing from apartment to apartment. Central Park is the first place that I can call home. I've lived here for 2 years with my now-Fiance and we could not be more happy with the location, amenities, and helpful staff.
Since I have been living here the ground keeping is horrible. when I moved here water, sewage, and trash pickup, was all included now we have to pay separate and a flat rate for water of $79.00... there is garbage on the outside of the dumpster people throwing Furniture which stay there the whole entire weekend there are huge rat coming from behind the building. is roach-infested, and when it rains is a big lake in front of apartment unit doors. The parking lot flood, there's a big hole by the fence where the dog park is and it just has yellow tape around it has not been filled up. Under this new management it sucks and yes I will be breaking my lease to move out of here. I would not recommend this place to anyone whatsoever. I give this apartment complex a half a star.
This place was just taken over by SNS managment and they are a disaster. Junk furniture by the dumpsters, unkemp grounds, stay away!!! Overpriced for 45 yr old apartments with minimal upgrades.
