Property Ratings at Central Pointe
Moving fee is crazy they will do everything in their power to make sure u don’t get your deposit back highly don’t recommend the office ladies are rude
Living here has been an incredibly easy and positive experience. Nikki is the epitome of timely, helpful, and personable. She is relentlessly kind and compassionate on all matters, all while remaining completely professional. The maintenance staff is also consistently timely in addressing work orders, and the community, regardless of requests, is very well maintained.
Lead paint Popcorn ceilings Moldy pipes Ant Infestation My front door lock "broke" and we had to get into our apartment through the sliding door in the back. We did not have any way of locking it while we were out of the house. It took maintenance two weeks to get to fixing it. The paint chips off the cabinets with the slightest touch. My roommates car was broken into twice while we lived here. No light fixtures in the ceiling in the bedrooms or living room. The pool is not heated, in the shade, and the hot tub does not work. Property management was very nice, the playground area was nice, but this was a lesson learned for me for what to avoid in future leases.
I really enjoyed living at these apartments. Nikki was amazing through the entire move-in process and was always available when I had questions. She responded promptly and when I was moving she gave really wonderful references. The maintenance crew are super friendly and made friends with my doggie. The apartments themselves are old, but they felt like home with a little personal touch. Clean and functional. The dog owner community in particular was pretty great and was my main interaction with the other tenants. People were always friendly and mostly kept to themselves. They are well lit which is nice when night dog-walking and there are plenty of big shade trees that keep things fairly cool in the hot summer months. I never had any issues. An overall positive experience.
Stay away!!! They are horrible!!! And they will charge you all these move out fees! JILL IS DISRESPECTFUL MANAGER!!! THESE APARTMENTS ARE OLD AND RUN DOWN! SAVE YOUR SELF THE TIME AND THE MONEY!!! And if you like BROWN WATER COMING FROM YOUR FAUCETS THIS IS THE PLACE! AND BE PREPARED TO PAY EXTRA FEES! And all the new apartments use to be burned down and they are just remodeling them with the same old burnt wood!!
beware of unexpeted move out expenses. was charged $300 for kitchen and bathroom cleaning when i bleached tge entire kitchen and bathroom. was no professionaly done. paint touch up does not cost $100. complex charging me for carpet because ut is old. i am not paying these charges.4 units burned before i moved out in september 2017, also my breaker box started shorting out prior to moving out. this place is a rip off since it has no covered parking and no gas. for the money i can get a gas apartment instead.
Property Manager at Central Pointe, Responded To This Review
I am sorry that you were unsatisfied with your residency here. We apologize for any inconveniences or difficulties you experienced during your stay here. Please let us know if you have any questions.
We had moved in and lived at these apartments for a year, first thing we saw as soon as we moved in was multiple damages already in the walls,a dirty oven and stovetop, and German cockroaches every where. First of all, the neighbors are pretty much allowed to smoke inside and slam every door and stomp around as much as possible because management doesn't deal with that type of stuff. Also if you have a neighbor above you that has pets get ready to hear barking almost all day, at 6 in the morning and also forget about using your patio because most people let their dogs pee and poop right on the deck so that the pee slides right down your glass door and seeps into the apartment. Speaking about seeping in, if you have neighbors who smoke well just know anyone can smoke in the apartments because once they move out they just paint right over any smells or stains so that smell will definitely come into your apartment. Now for maintenance we had multiple things break in the apartment. The ac was leaking, the water heater broke multiple times, the garbage disposal broke, and the shower would shoot more water out the side than the actual shower head. Oh and if you lock yourself out of your apartment, they have an emergency maintenance number for you to call but you know what? No matter how many times you call, the one maintenance guy will not answer it and same with managements phone they don't ever answer and if you bring up that you were locked out and maintenance wouldn't answer, Jill will look you in the face and tell you "we don't deal with lock outs." So how are you going to be a manager who should be helping people with any problem they have even AFTER business hours but not be able to help with lock outs. That is someone who is lazy and should not be a manager in the first place. Oh and now is my favorite part, the move out. If you leave the stains and damages that had already been there since you moved in, say bye to that deposit.
I enjoyed the way Apartment.com helped me find available rentals. Having regular e-mails sent to me showing the latest rentals available in my area made my search effortless. Thank you.
