Property Ratings at Centre at Peachtree Corners
Please Stay Clear off this apartment. I applied for apartment here and verbally asked the manager if I will get my Administrative fee back if my application does not goes through. She told me yes and I am still yet to receive it. I called them several times and no one ever returns calls. Makes me wonder how many people have being a victim of this scam. Pls Pls Pls dont get scammed by them.
Absolutely horrible first experience with The Centre at Peachtree Corners. Before visiting the apartments, my boyfriend and I set up an appointment with a gentleman the day prior. However, when we arrived for our appointment, the only assistant at the apartments was sitting behind the desk was on her phone for a very long time. Finally, her phone call ended and asked us the purpose of our visit. We told her we had made an appointment and would like to see one of the apartments. She did not have an appointment for us and did not know who we spoke with at all. She ran to the back (with the back door open), and began talking loudly with some of the other staff. Very unprofessional. While we were still waiting to be helped, a resident came in with a complaint that her apartment had still not been repaired for a screen door. She had been waiting for weeks. Bad signs all the way around the board, and we had not even seen an apartment. We walked around the office while we waited and saw the "gym." It was RIDICULOUSLY tiny AND you have to PAY EXTRA to use it "after hours." Finally, the woman shows us a model of a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. The bathrooms and bedrooms were nice. However, the kitchen was just okay and very tiny. After reading all of the negative reviews prior to our visit, I wish we would have trusted them. It was a waste of time. Hopefully The Centre can get a better management staff in place.
Looks can be deceiving The walls are thin It has a slug and millipede problem because they were constructed very poorly.... And the Apartments have an old smell no matter how much you clean or use air fresheners
I have lived at this location for the past 2 years, there is near constant turn over with the leasing staff, and the management is less than helpful at best. There is absolutely zero effort made to accommodate residents in any manner the office closes daily at 5:30 and is closed on Sunday, it is not unusual for phone calls to not be answered during their "normal business hours" and the last time I attempted to leave a message there wasn't an option to. The have misplaced documents I have given them on more than one occasion and many of the amenities we were promised when I signed my initial lease 2 years ago have STILL not been completed. Also there is little to no soundproofing in the units. Any time any one enters or exits the building you can hear it, you can also overhear conversations and other residents television. I take no joy in bashing the property but I've had nothing but issues since my move in.
I love living here! This is the first time I've ever decided to renew my lease at an apartment, and I've lived in several. I feel at peace when I come home. The neighborhood is quiet, the pool is clean, the gym facility has exactly what you need to stay toned, and the laundry facility is inexpensive and VERY convenient. There's a PERFECT shopping center (The Forum) and a Publix and Target right around the corner. There are also PLENTY of restaurant options in the area. Again, I love it!
This place was renovated, but done cheaply, insulation is bad and I can hear muffled neighbors talk, no pest control provided so I have large roaches and big black ants. Management has changed 4 times in the last year and the office staff is not friendly or professional. I will be looking for another apartment when my lease is up.
My husband and I moved to the Centre at Peachtree Corners as our "starter apartment". I haven't had the worst experience, but I also wouldn't say it's been the best. Upon moving in, we toured the facility/gym/pool. One of the things we weren't told was that you had to pay for the card to get into the gym when the office wasn't open. That was strike one. The model home we looked at also has hardwood-like floors throughout the living room/kitchen/hall/bathrooms, yet our apartment only had it in the kitchen area and bathrooms. That was strike two because we had a dog and baby. Depending on where your apartment is, the parking can either be somewhat decent or absolutely ridiculous. We didn't have enough spaces in our section, leaving people to street park and making it nearly impossible to back out. Strike three. As far as the apartment goes, ours was okay. Nice counter tops and cabinets and we never had trouble with the appliances. Again, not the worst but not the best. I gave this apartment and average rating for obvious reasons, nothing has made me mad but I also haven't been the happiest living here. Location-wise it's pretty close to everything whether you're headed to the city or to the lake, it's not a far drive.
I've been in my apartment for approx 11 months. I cannot wait till my lease is up. I live on the second floor, yet I can hear everything that happens on the first floor. The walls are thin as paper. There is high turnover in the leasing office. There also a lack of communication between the ranks. I was also told when I moved in the gym would be accessible, well for a couple of months the gym was accessible, but only during office hours. Now, the gym is accessible 24 hours, but only if you PAY for access. There is also not a rent drop. I was told they would be setting up the website, so tenants can pay online, but again this has not happened. If you leave for work early and return after the office has closed, you risk receiving a late notice. There's been a few break-in in the neighborhood as well. The biggest draw for potential tenants are the newly renovated apts and new appliances. I get it, this is exactly why I chose to move to the area, not to mention the rent is reasonably priced, however I now know my priorities were skewed. I'd much rather live in a complex where, I do not get to hear my neighbors kids, or their dogs at all time of the night, or where I utilize the amenities without having to pay, and not have to worry about my car being vandalized.
I toured this property and was very impressed with the leading agent. She was obviously experienced and very knowledgeable concerning the property. She answered all of my questions and gave me ideas on the apartments. The townhome I wanted was not available for viewing, but she helped me visualize while viewing the other homes. Her kind and courteous service was appreciated.
We're pretty happy here. Our apartment was brand new from the cabinets to the carpet to the bathrooms. Since a lot of the community is still being worked on it's relatively quiet and stress free. There is a TON of turnover in the rental office which is weird. Sometimes you get a sweetheart, others a buffoon. I would like for them to start actually treating this place like a community instead of the ghost town it used to be. Show your current residents some love instead of just sending letters when the water is turned off for a full day at a time (Has happened 3 or 4 times already) Beside the water issue we couldn't be happier. Fellow residents are pretty friendly but you could just as soon keep to yourself and it's all good here.
still no laundry facility available, pool not open, walls very thin
I am one of the residents and let me tell you!! My hubby and I looked over 30 apartments and NOTHING and I mean NOTHING felt like home as Centre at Peachtree Corners did! It's a welcoming community with lovely people! It's spacious and gorgeous! I would recommend this community to anyone and everyone!! Check it out!! You won't regret it!! You will fall in love!!! ~ Larissa ~
The apartments are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only downside is no gas stove but the apartment is energy efficient and located near all major stores and highways.
Since applying I was given 3 different dates for when my apartment will be ready. Finally, I just went ahead and put in my application HOPING that the final date would be set in stone OH NO something told me to call and check in and the date was moved back ONCE again. I'm beyond mad. Not only because it was moved again but because I never received a call to be informed about it.
Property Manager at Centre at Peachtree Corners, Responded To This Review
We do apologize for any inconvenience that prospective residents have gone through while waiting for their new move in dates. However most will tell that the wait was well worth it because what they were they were waiting for was the completion of newly renovated, re-constructed, and upgraded apartment homes. Because we strive for perfection we had to push available dates back a few times until the apartment was absolutely perfect for the resident. For pictures of what our units are like can be seen at http://mypeachtreecorners.com/
I have visited this property several times and at one point considered moving there. I have to warn my fellow Peachtree Corners residence to NEVER consider moving here. I truly feel as if this is the absolute worst community in this area. 1. The management is terrible, they are unorganized, rude and unhelpful. 2. They have an on-site "security guard" who seems to think he is protecting the president instead of this roach infested community. He takes his job too seriously and makes visiting or living on the property a nightmare. If you walk in the wrong side of the road he calls the police on you. 3. The old units are filthy, rat and roach infested and have a tremendous odor. They are doing renovations but those have taken over a year to complete only 1 building (out of about 30). They aren't spending the money to truly fix all the problems instead just masking them. Residents will move in and be very disappointed when the roaching move back in and the odor comes back through the walls and floor. Peachtree Corners is an amazing place to live with many great communities. Help spread the word that this community is NOT THE PLACE to live or spend your money. Move somewhere where they care about their residents, employ sane and respectful staffers and take pride in a clean organized property.
I went to look at these apartments the other day and there were nice! all new everything. They are still in the process of blding them so I don't know what the complete outcome will be, but from what I saw its going to be a nice community. It also comes with a lot or perks. The complex is located in a central area so there are plenty of grocery stores and such..basically in walking distance, and the hwy is easy to access. I may move here if they have units available when my lease is up--and if the prices don't hike up bu that time--b/c they are brand spanking new.
