Property Ratings at CentrePointe Apartments
We moved into CentrePointe a little less than a year ago and we have been so happy. The apartment itself is spacious and perfect for our family. Management is always friendly, responsive, and helpful. Lucia and Doug have always helped us out when needed. We also love the walkability of the community. We would recommend living here to anyone!
I have lived here for 3 years and it has been a great experience. The property is clean and secure, they often update and upgrade communal areas, maintenance is very responsive and easy to work with, and the on site management really is helpful. They communicate frequently and proactively. I have to move for work/ family, and I am so sad to have to find another place to live because I have never had a management company actually care about their tenants the way that this place does. I'm writing this review because I rely on tenant reviews to help me when I'm apartment hunting, and I want to pass it on.
We lived at CentrePointe for two years, early 2022-2024. It has been the best place I've lived in LA. Unlike many of the new complexes popping up, the construction at CentrePointe is very solid. In our previous building, the walls were so thin we could literally hear our neighbors having conversations, so it was super important to us that our next apartment had good sound isolation. At CentrePointe, our neighbors could have a party without the sound traveling to our unit. Maintenance requests were always dealt with promptly (usually within 1-2 days). We also really love the community, and we miss hanging out with Lucia and Doug in the front office! They're the best! Blanca is an angel! These apartments aren't the cheapest in the area (they're also not the most expensive), but for the space, amenities, and location, they're kind of a steal. We're leaving to move closer to work, but we'd recommend these apartments to anyone.
The apartments are very nice and spacious, and good value. Management is great. Lucia has been very nice and helpful, and is working very hard (including on weekends) to quickly resolve any requests, usually done by the same day.
This has been the best apartment living experience we have ever had. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone in the leasing office as well as the maintenance staff and everything and everyone in-between. Only reason I'm leaving is because I need a 3rd bedroom otherwise I would stay for even longer!
We had a great experience living here and have lived at other LA apartments on the Westside in the past. Their maintenance is quick and they have a helpful online portal to submit these requests and pay rent via check or credit card. The staff has always been helpful and nice as well. We've been here for 4 years and love the 2 level floor plans! It makes the apartment feel bigger.
My stay at Centrepointe began 3 years ago. While slightly outside of my budget, I did not find anything comparable in terms of living space, or community for anywhere near the price. During my stay, management was fantastic. I do not expect to ever live in an apartment with management as responsive and attentive as Centrepointe. Any repairs were completed immediately. I would often report a problem, and come home from work to find the repair completed. Additionally, they keep the common areas (pool, bbq, gym, etc.) in exceptional condition; clean, functioning, updated equipment, pool furniture, etc. Communication between management and tenants was great as well. The staff was very friendly, and made me feel welcome everytime I stepped into the office. I highly recommend looking into CentrePointe for your next apartment, well worth the investment. I am sad to leave after three years, but excited because I am moving in with my girlfriend. :)
Your search is over in West Los Angeles! My roommate and I poured over dozens of apartments when searching for a place a few years ago. Our musts were: pet friendly (cats), AC, and unit washer and dryer. Not only did Centrepointe have all of our needs, but it was on the lower end of the price scale. In addition, the units are HUGE, with ample closet space, all of the amenities you could ask for (pool, spa, workout room, additional washer and dryer room for the studio/one bed units, courteous and responsive management and maintenance, night patrol, ample assigned parking, and beautiful grounds). There are many two story units for additional privacy. Two elevators, trash chutes, and recycling. And package receiving. It is a gated community for extra security. It is close to shopping and transportation. The walk score is amazing. As with all apartments, there are some cons. The units are not upgraded with the most current finishes. There are a lot of younger tenants here. So if you like the social aspect of that, this is the place for you. If you are not into that, most of the tenants are at least courteous. Of all the places in our price range, with our desired amenities, this one fit the bill to a 'T'. You can price shop elsewhere, and won't find a better deal for what you get (especially with the new builds going for twice the rent!). Come by for a visit, and engage the managers. You will find yourself coming back.
How unlikely is it that you find an amazing apartment from 3000 miles away? And in Los Angeles no less? Well, I am happy to say that I did it! Before I get into the review, let me say this is my 4thapartment in my life: from half a double to a fancy shmancy apartment community, I've lived in them all! And let me say, I've never been happier and more pleasantly surprised. First off, when I called Centre Pointe's office, I didn't have to dial through a menu--huge points for this. Even BIGGER props to the office staff for being incredibly polite and understanding. I called at least ten other apartment complexes before I got to Centre Pointe on my list and I can't even tell you how many treated me like I didn't deserve to even speak to them. CP was different and it made all the difference. I had a friend scope out the demo apartment for me and even though it wasn't the same layout as the apartment I wanted, she still said it was beautiful. Jeremy (the polite office staff guy) was so understanding of our situation--moving across the country--and our timeframe, that there was virtually nothing I could say or ask for that he couldn't accomodate. When we finally moved in, I was in awe. Our apartment was beautiful (1 bedroom with a loft...yes, a legitimate loft) and FAR bigger than I was expecting. I told my friends and family back home that I felt like they made a mistake letting me rent this apartment because there was no way I could afford something so incredible. I was a little skeptical on our "balcony" because it was not, in fact, a private balcony but instead was a shared walkway. My worries were instantly assuaged when I saw it: tons of space, private access...I had plenty of room for a table and chairs. Now, as for the appliances, building, shelving, etc.: another pleasant surprise. Every appliance is Frigidaire, not some cheap knock off. Shelves, railings, doors: all high quality! And honestly, I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the loud neighbor, because I have never heard a single sound through our walls (I've had some experiences...trust me). ATM on site, outgoing mail at mailboxes, long gym hours, beautiful pool and hot tub, maintenance workers constantly cleaning and keeping it beautiful, package delivery service, on-site laundry, and so many more benefits! Cons? It's on Overland ave, so if you live in a unit next to the road, it can get a little loud with the windows open. GREAT place. Stop looking. Start dialing!
When I found this apartment I knew it was exactly where I wanted to be. There wasn't even a vacancy when I first visited Centrepointe in Culver City, but everyday I checked and I prayed and believed. It is more than I could even have imagined (space, location and newly renovated)and the exact price I wanted to pay. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
