Located in northern Central Texas, Fort Worth is often coupled with neighboring Dallas. But Fort Worth has a unique character all of its own. Equal parts Wild West and modern sophistication, Fort Worth is known as the City of Cowboys and Culture. In Fort Worth, you can just as easily visit a championship rodeo as you can a world-class museum.
There is no shortage of world-class museums in Fort Worth. You have your choice of exploring the Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, and many more. Head over to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District to step into the Old West and learn the history of the livestock industry in Texas. Every Friday and Saturday, you can witness the Stockyards Championship Rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum.

Property Ratings at Centreport Lake
I recently moved into Centreport, and my experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. Upon arrival, I found numerous issues that clearly indicated the apartment was not adequately prepared for move-in. Here are some of the unacceptable conditions I encountered: Stains on the thermostat vents, switches, and loose plugs. Paint drips on the balcony door. Poop stains in front of my front door. Additional issues such as bird poop and a lack of animal control. Holes inside closets and old tools used for the closets that need to be replaced. These issues made it evident that the apartment was far from the clean, renovated, and well-maintained living space I was promised. Despite reporting these problems the day after I arrived and being assured they would be resolved, the issues persist. My bathroom still has problems, and the general state of the apartment has caused significant inconvenience and distress. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of preparedness and the slow response to address these concerns. Moving into a new home should be an exciting and positive experience, but my experience at Centreport has been far from that. I hope the management at Centreport takes these concerns seriously and improves the standard of their apartments and their responsiveness to tenant issues. As it stands, I cannot recommend this complex to anyone seeking a well-maintained and hassle-free living environment.
Community has changed management 3 times since we have been here. Staff never answer the phones, maintenence request takes days or week to get resolved. We had asked many times for a garage and their answer is we can't now because we are short staff ... or we have just opened and I am not sure what we have . The staff is rude and they are not willing to help the residents. They will do it when they feel like doing it. This is supposed to be a smoke free community and it is not. Neighbors smoke and the smell passes tru my second bedroom. They smoke outside and nothing has been done about it. We have submitted many times that our apartment ceiling needs attention because it looks like the roof is liquing but they came looked at it and did nothing about it. We asked that if we can be transfer to another building , they said they will do it and then came and told us that ot was denied. We understand their reasons , but like I said before, they are not willing to help residents and the worst is that many of them have this attitude of prevention when you go to the office and ask for anything.
This place is by far the most disgusting place to stay.. I wish they would let me post videos and I have lived here for 7 years... I am moving out in September trust me when I say please do not stay here or you will end up trying to break your lease. I am patiently waiting out my lease but this place took a nose dive from when I first moved in.
Gates stay broken, landscaping is only nice by the leasing office and the hallways stink and look horrible. Nothing luxurious about this place! Pools are advertised but they stay closed due to maintenance issues!
DO NOT STAY HERE : out of the many problems I have had while I’ve stay here at Centreport lake apartment. This is my last straw. There was a payment amount made by money orders not one time, but 2 time my money went missing one of the time it was added under someone else’s apartment. They always give me other people apartment balances I went to the office and they got it figured out the second time I made an amount and all of a sudden it’s missing and no one can find it. It is extremely sloppy and has been happening. I have been dealing with this specifically for at least 2 months. No one can figure out where it is or how to find it. Hallways are filthy . much Mold in vents contacted office and 8/11/22 it’s now 9/6/22 and still mold and dust no one has came out the manager says she’ll send someone tomorrow. Management is so confused they said I owe $400+ from March it is September why would you just now say something close to the end of my lease ? Inconsiderate. Come to find out she was giving me details on someone else’s apartment amounts. 0/10 don’t recommend. the pond next outside of the complex is nice though .

Hello, Our team apologizes for any confusion, as we strive for all residents to feel satisfied with their experience in our community. We would like to connect with you directly regarding your review and ask that you contact the office at our earliest convince. Thank you for your honesty, and we hope you can share a better experience with us soon.
Don't waste your money for "luxury living" there gonna show you an updated model that will not match what you receive, and good luck getting anything fixed if there's an issue, every maintenance request we've turned in has been ignored for months at a time.
I have lived at Centreport Lakes for over five years and I can say that the management team does their best to accommodate tenants. I have had experiences in which the maintenance and management team goes over and beyond in comparison to other apartment management teams if have encountered over the years. Diana, assistant manager, is awesome! She communicates effectively and addresses your concerns to the best of her ability of what she can control. She is present and visible on site building rapport with tenants which is a key component of great leadership and customer service.
This property is phenomenal. The new management staff that has taken over have really made a difference in making this a great place to live. I truly feel at home here!

It makes us happy to hear how highly you think of us and how satisfied you feel. Please get in touch with us at the office if there is ever anything you need; it is our pleasure to help. I lived here for a year and the staff is great always helps in any way possible the property is doing a lot better then before the old owners didn't fix anything nor they cared about anyone that lived there the management company came in and did what the other's wouldn't. Thanks Guys you all are doing a great job
Awful!!! 1) You randomly will not have water for hours with little 2). Appliances broken for months. 3) Gates have been broken for MONTHS 4.) Parking is a NIGHTMARE, there is no assigned parking (you cant even buy assigned parking) IF you arrive home after 7pm (Mon-Fri) or late on the weekends, good luck! fyi. the tow company changes a minimum of $325 to release your car. 5) Hallways smell like animal urine. 6) The trash service leaves trash all over the hallways and parking lot every week 7) Dumpsters overflows with trash and furniture every week. 8) Things stay broken for MONTHS and Management has an excuse for EVERYTHING (i.e. dumpster overflowing (broken compacter/compressor), gates broken (someone hit it), pool closed (the city found a broken tile.
When we moved into our new place to call home here at Centreport Lake, we were welcomed with the DISGUSTING smell of CIGARETTE SMOKE. Not only that, but the CARPETS and HARDWOOD FLOORS are GRIMY. I had to mop over my floors of our new home, no joke, over 10 separate times to make our home livable. They did not clean our apartment properly, what so ever before our move in. I’ve lived here over a month now and they still keep giving me the run around to replace my carpets, which they clearly should’ve done before we moved in. This has been our biggest issue so far. My significant other is suffering from chronic migraines everyday since we’ve had to live with this FILTHY cigarette smell. No one should have to be put through this when trying to move into a new home. It also took management over a month to clean all of the BIRD POOP IN THE STAIRWELL. And it was in direct sunlight in the afternoon and would fill the stairwell up with a rotten smell. The MANAGEMENT has made us feel UNAPPRECIATED, NOT HEARD, and that THEY DON’T CARE FOR THE WELL-BEING OF THEIR TENANTS. Do not get fooled by their appearance, and if you do move into this complex, MAKE SURE THEY LET YOU SEE YOUR APARTMENT BEFORE YOU MOVE IN, they did not give us this option.
The mistakenly sent my account to collection even I paid everything when I moved out without even calling me once. I have emailed and called so many freaking times but they just say its being taken care of. Its been a year now and I have been denied of several cars and personal loans just because of their utter stupidity. My credit has been ruined just because of their carelessness and I urge everyone to stay away from this awful place and people.... Very negligent and rude responses !!!!! I wish I could add some screenshots here ....
I hope this finds someone before they walk into what I did. The staff is unresponding. Their systems lost my deposit even though I have a lease saying I paid. I can not get anyone to call me back. I have literally tried talking to the manager for two months. Just don't live here. Their idea of Luxury is not customer service.
They have a “48 hour maintenance guarantee”. Yeah good luck with that. Don’t call the office for anything, they won’t help you. Once you sign the lease you are on your own. However, the apartments are spacious and the complex is overall pretty quiet, and well kept.
This place is awful!! There is nothing luxurious about living with shards of plexiglass in the pools along with the pools always being green. The trash is out of control. A second dumpster was placed on the grass and is over flowing with garbage and furniture. The smell is horrible. Parking is impossible. They don’t enforce the parking rules on everyone. The bedbugs!!! Yuck!!! This place is a trash hole.
I have stayed at these apartments for almost 4 years now with relatively no problems. Within the last year though, I have had issues with my rent reflecting a higher than normal charge and every month the issue is addressed and the reason is no record of renters insurance. I have renters insurance, mind you. And EVERY month I've emailed a copy of it, and problem solved, but why must I deal with that every month? Now this month is a different issue.. I went to pay my rent online however there was a 0.00 balance reflecting. Every persons dream, right? I didn't think much of it as I knew there was obviously an error, I was just glad it wasn't an overage charge. I called a day later only to be told in so many words that I was lying. Sure I didn't take a screenshot, in which I'm so upset I didn't, but regardless why would I make up such a story? Anyway, the "final decision" from the so called management is there will be no waiving of the initial late fee which is nearly $200. In speaking to the so called manager, I was met with a very accusatory tone and insinuation that I was lying. The current "management" is indeed terrible and quite worthless. I without question will not be renewing my lease here.
Loud neighbors and when you ask the staff to address it, there's absolutely no contact. Asked the staff to contact you and again nothing! The pools are falling apart. The garbage is disgusting. The neighbors are loud. About a month ago there was an entire swat team of police in the complex with their guns drawn. Drug busts. Loud music. Cars beeping at all times of the day and night. This place is just awful! Do not rent here... Which is why there are so many openings! Oh and then there's the bugs.... Ants all over just like the dog poop! Run from this place!
For 2 years, April (Property Manager) has wanted me to write my review of this property, so here it is. 1. Don’t expect any of your policies to be clear. 2. Budget more each month for fees they will try to find and tag to your bill 3. Bring any of your complaints to corporate because they don’t do crap about them in the office 4. Don’t expect any of the front desk to know what you’re talking about because they’re poorly trained nor expect any of them to follow through with “I’ll get right on that” 5. Don’t expect your hallways to be cleaned nor maintenance requests to be completed on time because they have a major turnover in employees & see your buildings are low in priority to clean 6. Don’t expect to have a parking space in front of your building (especially on Sunday nights) or even have enough room to get out of your cars because the genius next to you parked over the line - and there are a lot of geniuses here 7. Don’t expect to get much sleep due to late night parties or the elevated bass music from neighbors - even on Saturday afternoons 8. Watch out for dog crap land mines every step if you walk through the grass because it’s disgusting 9. Don’t expect peace in your hallways because residents will allow their kids to run through and play in buildings they’re not living in 10. Don’t expect your trash to be picked up at the listed days and times - and don’t expect your trash fee to be waived from your bill when they don’t follow through. 11. Don’t expect to jump in bed at night and get a good night’s rest, sit on the toilet, grab clothes from your closet, take your dishes out of your cabinets without having to wash them off every time due to an insane amount of ants - and I’ve been on the 3rd floor this whole time!! 12. Don’t expect common sense procedures with H-VAC because you (the resident) has to put in a request every single month to get your filter changed - a filter that’s located near the ceiling above your bathroom entrance door out of reach. (oh and if it breaks due to lack of care, you foot the bill) 13. And don’t expect any of the office to take care of even this short list of non-sense they could have made an impact on. Centreport Lakes, if you want to take extra money from residents and not follow through on your end to a legally binding contract, I hope this detours potential residents from even stepping into your doors to experience the non-sense you’ve put us through.
Dirty stairs and hallways, people picking up trash leave a big mess all the time, unprofessional staff, this people don,t care. Good luck renting here, you will regret it soon.
Do not move here ! This is not another bad review these are facts. Dirty hallways! Dirty trails! Bugs everywhere because of the lake. Flooding on streets from sprinklers . You only have one choice for cable and internet. Terrible parking ! Just move into the newer apts in the area . You're not getting money's worth here. And the pools are very outdated! Not to mention managers here have zero professionalism from the way they talk to the clothes they wear to work. Do you need proof ? Check it out for yourself . Don't sign !

We appreciate your time in giving us feedback and will use it as an opportunity to assure we are properly handling our residents needs and concerns in the future. We regret that your experience was not a favorable one and apologize for any unprofessional experience you had with any one of our team members. We do not take our responsibilities to provide a great living experience to all our residents lightly and will ensure we take action and address matters immediately and consistently.
We were set to move in on August 31. When we arrived to move in, there had been a mix up in move in dates. The office staff handled very quickly and professionally. I appreciate the team. They are very friendly and work hard. I would highly recommend these lovely apartments to anyone. I want to thank two ladies in particular, April and Marlene. Always take their time to answer any questions. Thanks so much for all your help! And for Jose getting those new appliances installed so quickly!
No safety. I park my car everyday inside the community. Today morning, when I was leaving for office, found the car window broken completely, music system stolen from the car, pieces of glass inside & outside the car. It's not expected from a gated community/ luxury community. If we are not safe from robbery inside the community, it's a question of compromising with safety.
Close to restaurants, Starbucks, and airport. Working at Amon Carter and Trinity then you can get around by bike or walking. The pools were awesome and great if you have super-little kids with two 6 inch entry pools. My boys and I were able to ride around the grounds on our bikes. We utilized the gym (Running and circuit training) as well as the pool table and common areas to chill out. April and the rest of the team were very helpful with our needs and would recommend these apartments.
I will just say beware of the water, sewage and trash bills...they will give you a heart attack about once or twice a year (overcharge you and you don't get reimbursed). My average bill for those three things is $45-$55 dollars and my January 2016 bill was almost $100 (doubled)....and I hear some residents bills tripled. They don't have trash pickup on Friday and Saturday, which is ok, but don't leave your trash by the trash receptacle (if the receptacle is full) because apartment staff will tear open your trash bags and go through your trash to find your name and address to fine you. The trash thing doesn't really bother me because I follow the rules but the receptacle will definitely fill up before Sunday and there will be nowhere to put your trash...so hold it until Sundays!! The only other complaint I have is there is limited parking...pay for a garage if you want a parking space anywhere near your apartment. The apartment staff changes so often that it's pointless to try and get to know your staff (I promise)!! Pricing is a little high but it is in a pretty good location for the most part. Pretty quiet community. We have lived here for three years and I think it's time for us to move on...we are going to buy a home. Good luck with your apartment search. I was also informed the fire alarm sprinklers (water lines) are not insulated and when it gets cold these water lines have ruptured, which has caused some water damage in apartments and in garages...just keep that in mind!
Apartments are pretty good...I love the layout of my 1 bedroom with Study. Close to DFW airport, community is quiet for the most part and stays pretty clean. New management is much better than the past. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
The apartments look nice and the grounds are well kept but, the management has been terrible. The new manager seems to be trying but, Pam is one of her assistants and is terrible. Trying to get work done is like pulling teeth. I regret signing the lease and would leave immediately if I was not subject to a fine. definitely not worth $1500 a month...
The apartment neighborhood is beautiful. There grounds are always clean and tidy. We have a very nice community center with gym and computers. They have nice community events to bring residents together. The apartment itself is nice but the walls are very thin. You can easily hear your neighbors conversations and movements. At times, This becomes very bothersome. This is the one thing that I would change.
Clean and up-to-date complex. The appartments are relatively new so the walls, appliances, etc are still in good condition and they definately don' t have the bug problems of older complexes. We've compared around the area and they are also competitively prices. They maybe aren't the Porche version, but they have all the aminities expected of luxury appartments.
New, Upscale community with Texas Hill Country exterior. All the amenities you'd expect with an upscale price. The only negative is you're 15 minutes away from grocery stores, shopping and entertainment.
Our family lived here for roughly 18 months while temporarily working at the General Motors Arlington Assembly Plant. During this time we encountered multiple issues, which we felt were just not handled professionally. There was a high turnover in the office which didn't help matters. This property was supposedly dog friendly, however the lawn treatment was not pet friendly. We only found this or by asking the lawn company as they were spaying chemicals. The dog park, while nice in idea, was not great in execution. Quite often there were dog piles in and around the area, which is only partially on the complex for not cleaning up and mostly on dog owners not cleaning up after their pets. Multiple times we had to call maintenance to clear clogs in our bathtub. Our major issues started when moving out. After confirming the move out procedure we left a forwarding address with arental associate. We left the keys, forwarding address and garage remotes in the drop box (we left before the office opened). We received a call from a collection agency a month later staying we owed money. We were repeatedly told that we did not leave any way for them to contact us. The charges were in relation to lack of cleaning in the bathroom as well as the carpet needing to be replaced. However when I called the complex back, I was told that they use the pet deposit to replace carpets reach time a pet owner moves out. We were being charged to do something they were going to do anyway. We were left with a feeling of being attacked, and an utter lack of respect from a people based business. Due to the nature of my job, I will most likely be in the area at some point again, but would never choose to rent here again.
This apartment complex is attractive and the floor plans are lovely. Rent is disproportionately high for the area, and the same floor plans are offered for less across the street. The fitness center is the best part of this complex. There are plenty of machines and free weights and I've only had one instance of aa bench hog! Unfortunately the building I live in has had bug issues lately, evidenced by an exterminator going door to door in the building. He found fleas, and we don't have any pets. It took around two weeks and a few phone calls to management to get anybody to come deal with them after that. There's also a pervasive rot-like smell that comes and goes in the apartment - I haven't been able to find its source anywhere in the apartment (and I have looked thoroughly). What takes the cake though is that I have still yet to see the swimming pool open this summer, and it's mid-July! I feel bad for most of the ladies who work in the office - the corporate managers don't seem to be overly concerned with fixing the day to day problems of the residents and the office staff here has no control over any of it.
