Nicely laid out apt complex, convenient to location and accessibility. Pet friendly! Outstanding mgmt team and maintenance crew, inc groundskeeper. New valet living trash collection service has been initiated. Nice service which increases the rent but seems worthy. Well done!

Poor Customer Service

The apartments themselves are great; however, you will have to deal with the worst staff imaginable. The leasing office is always closed, and the staff is incredibly rude. Also, be prepared to pay A LOT of money when you move out. They will nickel and dime you for everything. Not to mention the property is always trashed. Garbage everywhere and nothing is ever cleaned. They claim to walk the property every day, but I find that hard to believe. Please find somewhere else to live, for your own sake.

Lived here and I loved it!!

This place is phenomenal and I would totally sign again, however, I had to relocate due to work. The amenities are great, the staff is amazing, and very well kept grounds.

Amazing place to live!!

I’ve been living here for 1 year in Centro apartment. I’ve never had problems with anything everyone is really great. They are great help to me and a really nice to my family too whenever I need help and everyone is always there to answer my question.

Amazing place to live

I love this community because the environment here is beautiful and amazing. What I really like is it's very near to everything Denver international Airport Is only 20 mins away. just walk from the apartment and also very close like 4 mins drive to target, sprouts and all other Shopping center, Restaurants and grocery stores. This place is very commute to travel in buses like 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The team member is very kind and good person. I recently had an issue with the leakage in my snick, So I complained them, they quickly came to check and understood the problem. Thanks to the Dina to be so quick to solve the issue

Don’t waste your money

We were forced out due to water intrusion and black mold. Once we reported the problem, they opened the wall, blew the mold around for a week and a half with industrial fans and then told us we had two weeks to vacate. But we had one week to decide if we were going to stay in another apartment or leave the premises. We asked if we could move to another apartment and then have a couple more weeks to find a new place. We were told absolutely not by the Regional manager who is a complete jerk. His emails were patronizing and kept making it seem like they were bending over backwards. They gave us a small concession on our rent that barely covered the moving costs. We could have made them pay to have everything professionally cleaned due to the mold but we didn’t. At one point I mentioned lawyers and then he shut down and said we would have to communicate through their lawyer. When I asked a few days later to have their lawyer contact us (after I had contacted the overlying company Avenue 5 to get some resolution with no response), Chad finally gave us a bit more compensation for our trouble and told us there would be no more and they weren’t responsible for anything. This is also after someone at Centro had contacted Xcel and moved our utilities to Centro’s care so they could charge us $50 a month for the pleasure of paying our electric bill for us. We had to fight them on this on more than one occasion. DO NOT RENT FROM CENTRO! Go half a mile west on Mississippi and you will find amazing apartments with much more square footage and with incredible amenities for the same price or cheaper.

Very Dangerous Neighborhood and Overpriced

Pros: Nice counter-tops and fixtures. Cons: The management for this community is highly incompetent. While we lived in this complex there were 2 murders in the surrounding area. I would frequently have homeless people approach me and ask for money while I was walking my dogs. I did not feel comfortable letting my children go outside. I'm pretty sure my neighbors were making or selling drugs from their unit. There were countless problems with the AC and water leaks in the unit. At one point they tried to raise our rent by over 300% when we wanted to go month-to-month. Twice they didn't record that they'd gotten my rent check and sent me a letter detailing the eviction procedures until I could show them that they drew the money from my bank account. Summary: Would highly discourage renting here.

Just renewed for the 4th time.

Just renewed for the 4th time. Now that Avenue 5 is the owner, a lot of improvements have been made. People who are complaining do have some legitimate complaints, but the same can be said for any apartment community. Every place has it's issues, but at least the new team is trying to make a difference. They power washed the common areas for the first time in the 4 years that I've lived here. They are a good team and I hope they stay on for awhile. Hands and feet above Greystar. The only thing I don't like is that we have to pay that horrible Conservice community, that goes up all the time. I don't think it's right that we have to pay common area electric and gas. But it seems like that is common place among all communities around here, so if you choose to live in a apartment, then you have to deal with it. Oh, and the equipment in the gym is dead. But it is in the process of being replaced, so that's good. I still love my apartment and like I said before, I guess I have been blessed by the good neighbor gods, because I have never heard a peep out of my neighbors. Keep up the great work Avenue 5 team. Thanks for making all of the changes.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Awful management, repairs have not been made after months notice, vomit in the staircases has not been cleaned and is dried up on the stairs. Unsanitary. Dirty. And the covenant of quiet enjoyment has been broken numerous times. Don't let the pretty look fool you.

Viridian Apartments at Havana Gardens.

The Viridian at the Gardens on Havana are Brand New apartments-All New exteriors,The office staff is losing a few people and gaining a few.They have always been nice enough to my wife and I. We have a year round pool in the middle of the complex-with parties going on until 10:00PM at which time the pool closes.The office staff is still figuring it all out, but seems to be getting better. Great place to live.

Not worth the Money

Nice location, brand new complex, but has its downfalls.The buildings are okay, but have no sound dampening at all. They do not tell you upfront you have to pay for the complex electricity on top of your own. There is always shady people around, and loud music blasting from cars. Residents also feel the need to blast their music from their units especially when they are poolside. The breeze way doors slam and can be heard loud and clear in your Apartment. The only "luxury" thing is the garnet counter tops. The appliances are bottom shelf GE, the Fixtures are of an unknown cheap brand. The cabinetry is IKEA like quality, with basically wood-like wall paper on them. For almost $1400 a month they do not include a washer and dryer, they have connections though. Its also not very pet friendly, few places for your pet to play and relieve them selves. For the rent, and all the nickle and dimming they practice and conveniently avoid telling you upfront, I would keep looking for a more established complex with some of the utilities included in your rent, like water, trash, and one that doesn't charge for "common area" usage.. Other than the location, its just a basic run of the mill, over priced complex. On the plus side my interactions with the staff have been great and have always been friendly.

Its Quite nice

I've been in a couple places now were I have been decent rent for a decent apartment. This place, is well worth the cost and by far surpassed the other apartments that I myself lived in. It has a heated pool to make things better but the apartment itself is very spacious, the kitchen has a very useful center island and plenty of counter space. The living room has hardwood floors and has a very open feel as is lead out into the relatively small but still pretty decent balcony. Grilling may be a challenge on the balcony and the views are not that great but it gets the job done. The bathrooms are way bigger then I have ever experienced with walk-in closets. To top it all off, all the counters in the apartment are marble covered. Like I said this apartment is well worth the price and definitely worth your time looking into to see if it is a new place for you to want to live. The office by the way, are incredibly nice and have spent time to work with me when I had an issue with my bill, which was unrelated to the building, so we sat down in their office and drank complimentary coffee to discuss what happened. The people are generally very friendly as well as I never had any issues with any of my neighbors and since its pet friendly you can see the active community walking their dogs smiling and waving at each other. Now I never attended these, but the apartments have a really cool get together where they have tenants who volunteer to grill, cook, teach, explore, talk, and other interesting activities to help keep the community together which is pretty nice and do not see that often. Take a look for yourself at Viridian apartments and I am sure you will be feeling the same way I do about it.
