All 19 of The Century's units are 2 bedrooms, some with views of the city. The building radiates an old-world charm, common in many early Seattle buildings. Tenants enjoy a quiet neighborhood as well as an extremely short walk to the Seattle Center, bus-lines, and the rest of downtown. Hwy 99 and I-5 are minutes away by car, allowing for easy transportation for commuters. The Century is also close to Queen Anne?s hot-spots including entertainment, dining, and shopping. This is a controlled access building. Available in early March!! We will have a newly remodeled 2 Bedroom, Bath 1 on the Main floor unit for $1625.00. This is an open and spacious unit with lots of windows for great natural light. All the units here are corner units with lots of windows in each room for great natural lighting and do not share any walls with the units next to them, making them a nice, quiet, comfortable place to live. Gas Range and Heat, and the whole unit has a very open and comfortable feel to it. This is walking distance (2 blks) to the Seattle Center, Teatro Zinzanni as well as a short walk to Downtown and the Waterfront. Decent location, Old Building.
I lived in the basement unit (APT A) with my housemate. The building is old, there's no way around that. kind of a weird layout (one of the "bedrooms" has a door to the outside) but overall not bad. The gas stove was the main reason I chose to move in, but keep in mind the bathroom does not have a fan, and the heating is gas only. The things I didn't appreciate: I had my storage unit broken into twice while living here, and there was very little effort made to remedy the situation until I suggested that I might take legal action if nothing was fixed. Other than that, maintenance was prompt and helpful, management was always accessable.
