Property Ratings at Century Crosstown
Honestly pretty good place to live. Always can find parking and the outside noise is very quite. The only thing is that I wish the amenities were better taken care of.
This community is so lovely! All the neighbors are very nice. The office staff and maintenance are super helpful, personable, professional and just overall amazing! I can see myself living in this community for a long time.
New year same great experience. Amenities are top notch. Great views at the pool. Maintenance comes fast as possible. Just an overall great community.
It’s a really great place to live I honestly love it here. The location is great and the scenery is stunning with all of these big beautiful trees.
An amazing apartment complex. Great people in the office and great maintenance workers. The management always tries to keep the complex clean and safe for all. The only bad part is the lack of parking there is by the actual buildings for the amount of people needed.
Good experience living here for almost a year. All maintenance issues have been fixed in a timely manner and everyone has always been kind and helpful. Only issues have been that the gates have never worked and there is an issue with the virtual gym classes inside the second part of the gym.
I was referred by a previous tenant. Alyssa was great and helped me get into my new home asap. From application to moving in it was all seamless.
i love this apartment complex. The area is quiet, the people are respectful, and the staff is friendly. The area is really great and there’s tons of stuff nearby!
My first apartment and I have nothing bad to say about this complex. It’s very nice, I have nice neighbors and I just love the community all around.
I appreciate the responsiveness of the resident community administration. There is ample parking. The garbage collection service works most of the time.
Century Crosstown is a great apartment complex to live in. The appliances are new and apartments are up to date. I love my screened in balcony. Maintenance is typically pretty quick to take care of any requests. Only complaint is that many people do not watch their kids at the pool or in the fitness area in the summer.
Have loved living in this community! The area is calming and I have all of the stores I go to within 5 minutes. Maintenance has been great with coming in a timely manner to any issues we may have.
Living here at Century has overall been a nice experience. My neighbors are nice, the community is well kept, and the apartment is beautiful. The biggest issue for me would be parking, but I get it’s not something that anyone would really have control over.
So far, so good. The area overall is quiet which is greatly appreciated! Clean but the gate is the main issue, seems to never work from what I’ve heard.
Front office staff are great always answer questioning reasonable time, maintenance is also great they have been there to help with any issue very quick and always give info on how things work
Great place to live, it is clean and cozy. It is also a quiet community great for new families and young couples. My boyfriend and I love our new space.
Location is great. Close to everything you could possibly want/need but you’d never know it. The “community” feel is basically non-existent and the exterior walls are super thin. If you are a loud talker, everybody will know your business.
Nice and quiet. I been here for 3 years now. These apartments are very peaceful. If they fix the front gate then I would say that they are a 5 star.
Maintenance completes requests without ever even coming into your apartment (every time). Our water heater broke and it took us submitting 5 maintenance requests, calls to the office, and stopping by the office in person multiple times to get the repairs made. We were without hot water for 2 weeks. If they do actually come by, don't expect them to fix anything because they're completely incompetent and unprofessional.
The convenience of the location is what earns the 3. If it weren’t for that, everything else would be more like a 1 . The staff is not very personable and the amenities are non existent and usually broken
It’s a fun place to live, safe, and beautiful! Been here for 3 years and it’s a great apartment for the cost! Definitely worth it and you can’t beat that location!
The neighborhood is beautiful. Maintenance comes pretty quick and the office staff is nice and efficient. Any issue we have had has always been resolved quickly
We just moved in a couple days ago but we are very excited to be living here. It is exactly what we were looking for in an apartment. The smart home features are incredible and it seems very quiet. And I can’t forget about our amazing leasing specialist Toni, she was incredible pleasant to deal with and made the wait time not seem so bad. I would definitely recommend asking for her if you decide to come look at these apartments.
Wow things can change. I have spent years at this complex and it’s barely recognizable from when I first got here. They used to make an attempt but following the fairly recent management change, nothing is what it used to be. They used to mow the lawns in the dog parks, they used to attempt to fix the gate, they used to pick up the garbage we pay an extra $32 a month for. you’re lucky if you get trash removal service once a week so bring some bug spray to fend off the flies that will find a way into your residence. Some would say it’s still better than the maintenance service… today I submitted my 9th emergency repair request on my AC unit. It’s been over 5 weeks and the only solution to the broken central unit is an ancient window unit surrounded with duct tape that’s rated for a 200 sq foot room; my unit is 1150 sq feet. I’m mostly upset just remembering what this place used to be, it was an enjoyable living experience. Maybe it’s just the month long humidity and/or the constant trash smell that’s deterring me but just be aware of what you’re getting in to. Your utilities will be outrageous while their outdated appliances run non-stop. They will let themselves into your home while you’re out despite specific instructions not to enter. Nothing will get fixed the first few times and they will become rude and annoyed when you call back for the same problem the next day. I’m afraid if it has gone downhill this quickly under the new regime, I can only imagine where it will be in the coming months. Century Crosstown/First Communities do better for your customers or the moving trucks will continue to flow in for your long term residents that are moving out.
The pool has been shutdown now going on 2 months. Since I moved in 1 of 5 gas grills work. Regular wood burning stoves are eroded or broken. I am truly surprised of the poor ability this place has on fixing there amenities at this property.
At first this place is beautiful. Leasing agent was great. After living here a while, you notice how negligent management is. Hallways are completely filthy. Lawn care is a laugh. Gate has been broken for nearly 4 months and when it is fixed it's broken soon after. Trash and recycling areas are a constant mess due to sloppy, irresponsible residents. Barely anyone picks up after their dogs. Yet they have a doggy DNA test they supposedly utilize to find the culprits. That itself is a scam. They charge you $50 at move in to swab your dog, but then the test is never actually done. Parking is a nightmare. Rent increased around $80 each renewal, but there are no improvements. On the plus, the maintenance staff is great. Always friendly and helpful. Aside from the dog waste, the grounds are beautiful with lots of trees. Pool is clean and kid friendly. The gym is nice but always packed. Location is quiet, unless you live near the Crosstown. The complex installed an Amazon Hub recently which does help. Overall, I wouldn't recommend living here, unless it's short term. Will be moving when lease is up soon.

Probably the longest but most truthful review you will ever read... NOISE: First of all, three months after moving in we had the unfortunately luck of having new neighbors move in upstairs. Our new neighbors blast their music, stomp on the floor, talk loudly and are up until all hours of the night. Despite us bringing this to the front office attention, NOTHING was done. We even have audio-recordings of our neighbors where you can hear their music, their conversations and the lights literally 'shake' in our apartment from their "heavy-wallking". Still, nothing was done. And yes, we sent these files to the front office and management. PET-FRIENDLY: Fast forward, 1-2 more months my boyfriend and I decided to get a Puppy... we figured it was perfect since we both worked from home and Century had several 'Dog Parks' making it extremely dog-friendly. WRONG. Our puppy started getting fleas, and like any other pet owner we treated the dog, took all precautions and continuously cleaned out our apartment. We started carrying our dog into our car and driving down the block to see if the puppy would still get fleas and to our amazement - he didn't. We did this for a few weeks, and then one random day decided to just walk him outside our apartment like any other resident just to test and see if the Front Office did anything about the flea infestation (which we also told them about), after 1-walk we found FOUR fleas on our puppy. Needless to say we've been walking him down the block ever since. After 9 months of putting up with paper-thin walls, flea invested ground we gave the front office our 60-day notice. However they still want to charge us a penalty fee of almost $3,000. MAINTENANCE: But it gets even better....a few nights ago I came home around 7PM only to find it raining in my kitchen. I called the front office which led me to the emergency maintenance line, and a guy showed up 45 minutes later after the leaking had already stopped. Surprise, surprise the leak was due to our upstairs neighbors' negligence by running their dishwasher with a clogged garbage disposal. About 4 days later, around 4PM water started dripping from my kitchen lights which were on at the time...so not only a fire hazard, but the issue was never resolved. SUMMARY: I CANNOT GET OUT OF HERE FAST ENOUGH. I will continue to post this review on every real-estate outlet there is, hopefully my story will spare somebody else of going through this.

Thank you for your feedback, as it provides us with an opportunity to improve. We appreciate you giving us an opportunity to discuss your concerns via phone this week, and are glad that we have reached a resolution.
I’ve lived at a handful of apartment complexes and this is the best one I’ve ever lived in. Beautifulcomplex, maintenance comes same day or next morning, never had any issues with office staff, and the CARES Team always has events that families and young adults can enjoy. Also perfect location by i75 and Selmon Expressway.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We are glad your experience has been a positive one and that you enjoy living at Century Crosstown!
We lived here for 3 years and it served its purpose. However, I am thrilled that I no longer live here. The "community" of residents all keep to themselves we never met any of our neighbors. The office staff is efficient, but very corporate. They kept our deposit and charged us over $90 dollars when we moved out as a cleaning fee. Very petty in my opinion because we did clean the apartment and we lived there for 3 years, so that was there going away gift. An invoice sent via verified mail because the manager refused to budge on charging us these fees citing ," we can't show any favoritism". Okay I would hate to ruin your high ethical standards by not charging us a frivolous fee. Also every year we lived here our rent increased by at least 4%. Thanks for raising our rent as much as possible and for not showing us any favoritism in that regard either. We appreciate being billed and charged the most possible rent. Thanks Management! So glad to be out of this place! The value and quality of the property has gone down hill and again the draconian management policies should make you look elsewhere. Brandon is now a much more competitive market compared to 3 years ago.

Thank you so much for your feedback as it gives us an opportunity to improve. We strive to make our community a wonderful place to live. One of the awesome things we offer here at Century Crosstown is our monthly events so our residents can come and enjoy themselves and meet their neighbors either at one of our Top Golf events, Saturday breakfast in the Clubhouse our Cinco De Mayo Taco Bar event we will be hosting for our resident's in May hosted by our CARES Team. No deductions or withholding will be make without first considering reasonable wear and tear. Please contact our office at your convenience to discuss your concerns and they will be addressed promptly. Best regards - Your Century Crosstown Team
They jack your rent, the place is not upscale. It looks like you have mold on your doors even after their “power washing.” Outside windows have NEVER been cleaned in 3 years, car wash.. a joke. Broken for 2 years. Cares events constantly canceled. Pictures are staging. Spend your money elsewhere.
After nearly 2 years, I have given up hope for change. It smells like a college dorm with garbage in the hallways all weekend and the smells of cheap booze and pot. There are cigarette butts everywhere. Also, half the residents are NOT picking up after the pets, so every step is a minefield. Some neighbors don't even leash the dogs, just open the doors and let the pets roam. Horrible place to live if you want considerate neighbors.

Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear about your negative experience. Please visit the leasing office so we can discuss your concerns.
The management of this property locally and at the corporate office is terrible. They are cheap & don't care about anything other than getting you to sign a lease and not provide any level of customer satisfaction afterwards. They skimp on the budget to keep the place clean and provide the responsiveness to match the high rent. Look and compare else where before you come here. Its TERRIBLE and not worth it! In Fact, I think the personnel working here wrote the excellent & outstanding reviews to fool people.

Crescent Crosstown is located in the suburbs of Tampa in Brandon, FL which makes it cheaper. I moved in to a brand now apartment so everything was spotless so no wear and tear. The only issue i had within the apartment was the air conditioner would leak inside of the closet but was fixed by the complex handyman very quickly. The location of the apartment is tricky because it is located right next to the crosstown highway which takes you right to downtown Tampa very quickly and a newly added bar/entertainment establishment called Top Golf makes for one of the most popular places to go out in Tampa and it is walking distance so need to drive or taxi. The only issue I had with the location was road noise from the crosstown. It wasn't really noticeable during the day as is it mainly used for work commuting but at times I could hear tractor trailers and motorcycles at night which was annoying. Overall I was pleased the the apartment, the amenities and the staff. I have heard issues other residents have had with the staff but I can only speak to the good service I received. They always throw events and have food trucks on Wednesdays which adds to the experience of living in a city.
Loved living here. The apartment was beautiful with lots of upgrades. It was quiet and close to shopping and interstate for work in downtown. The office staff responded quickly to all requests.
They have a Cares Team that truly Cares! The community does everything in their power to welcome you and keep the welcoming mat rolling out every week! So many fun events, activities and beautiful aparents and grounds! Come see for yourself why they truly Care!
to be able to come home to this nesting place is pure pleasure at its very best. It makes me never want to leave here.
