Property Ratings at Century Medical District
Living at CMD has been great ! Any issues get fixed within 72 hrs and communication with Lisa is amazing. It’s a calm and clean community. Just know that trash valet prices do vary from $45-60 a month.
Overall I give 4 stars. The property and amenities are lovely on top of nice and attentive staff. However, the noise that comes from one apartment near pool area is insane.
Great community! We have lived here for a few months now. I have been extremely happy with the complex so far. Safe, clean, quiet. The leasing office is helpful
Such a great place to live! Staff is super helpful and kind! Facilities always looks great! The move in process is simple. Security around the complex definitely makes me feel safe!
I have had a great experience at Century Medical District so far. The grounds are quiet, dogs are walked on a leash, and maintenance comes quickly.
l love these apartments. I like the staff a lot too! Great pool. Great area just great. Very much dog friendly. Close to downtown. They always do activities!
I've been quite satisfied with my experience here. The apartment is comfortable, and the complex is quiet. I've had a couple of maintenance requests, and they've been taken care of very quickly. The office staff are friendly and helpful.
Fantastic staff. Layout of the buildings, noise, and not all rules respected leaves much to be desired. Wish pool hours were much more enforced and better locks on building doors.
Move in was super easy, and so far the community is quiet and cozy. Maintenance was also very quick to respond. There is plenty of parking- but make sure guests register immediately or they will be towed.
The Community is honestly in a great location which is my favorite thing about it. Staff is very kind and helpful and area is relatively safe. They are also beginning renovations on the property which have made a noticeable difference. My only request is that the paint and renovate the hallways.
I've been at century for a year now. The rent is reasonable and the amenities are top notch! The maintance is responsive and quick! I've been very happy here.
love love love everything about these apartments! they are very quiet besides the planes taking off and landing. neighbors are very friendly!
Very quite peaceful clean nice apartments. The floor to ceiling windows were lovely and the location is perfect. This apartment is everything I was looking for...
I have lived in better complexes. My experience here has been almost good. It leaves a lot to be desired. Security in the parking garage is non-existent. Besides having towed my car within the first two weeks of moving here, when I bought my new car, & registered it online they company that monitors the garage for the complex towed my new car two days after I brought it home. Both times they released my car for free, but it was a hassle, it is a long process and in both cases it took me no less than five hours to retrieve my car from the impound lot. Additionally, I complained multiple times that my patio door did not close all the way so A/C was leaking out and the heat of the summer kept trading places with the cold air. My electric bills on a 1200 s.f. Apt during the spring, summer, and early fall was consistently over 200$. I even emailed the main office in Georgia, they seemed to spark some action, but again no follow through. I have many more stories like these, so beware.
I enjoy living here. I am originally from out of state, location is near downtown, so the drive throughout DFW are never too long. Friendly staff!
Sometimes noisy in the summer but over all I love living here. Quick service, secure, safe, and very clean. Lots of airplane noise but I like it. The pool is nice too!
What I love about Century Medical district is how attentive the office staff is. They were available to help every step of the way leading up to move-in. Maintenance requests get answered quickly. The environment here, is very welcoming. The neighbors are friendly... I've enjoyed my experience IMMENSELY so far.
Overall a very good apartment complex with great amenities and a responsive office staff. While some aspects of the unit are old and worn, the maintenance team was quick to resolve issues so far.
I’ve enjoyed my time living at Century Medical District. The staff is very personable and have always done everything to help me in various ways.
I am very satisfied with being able to stay here for this price. They try to keep this community clean, and in particular, the new smart home system is very convenient.
My experience was terrible from the first hour at this complex. Just after unloading all my stuff from the truck, a table was stolen inside the parking lot. I reported this incident immediately to the leasing office, the next day I sent an email to Manager, I asked them for security cameras record and also never received a response to the email I sent. I felt insecure that one of my belongings was stolen, even though it was next to other boxes and furniture beside to the elevator parking lot area. Upon entering the building, the impression was unpleasant, dirty corridors, with a smell of garbage.
The property is wonderful and kept up with. The team in the office is always nice and willing to help however they can. I'm very happy here!

Thank you for writing this kind, 5-star review! Our team works diligently to make sure that our residents are taken care of with excellent service, and we appreciate your recognition. Have a great rest of your day!
I've been living here for almost 2 years now. Interior of the apartments and maintenance staff are great but management is horrible. There are constant pool parties that run well into the night. Quiet hours are supposed to start at 10pm but people will blast music and scream until 1-2 in the morning every weekend and frequently during the week as well. The noise level is definitely not something that can be slept through. There is supposed to be a courtesy officer who responds to noise complaints, but all you can do is leave a voicemail to be forwarded and I've never gotten a response back. I've tried raising my concerns with the front desk multiple times and they've refuse to do anything about it and act dismissive/annoyed when I speak to them. I will absolutely not be renewing my lease. Do not live here if you value your sleep.

Thank you for taking the time to review our community. We're sorry to hear that excess noise ever became an issue during your stay with us. Please know that it is never our intention to inconvenience anyone when placing residents in their homes. We apologize for the inconvenience and are disappointed to hear that the noise deterred you from a top-notch experience. Please set up an appointment with our office so we can discuss this concern further and improve your stay.
Where shall i begin? I moved into this property on March 1, 2021. I was shocked the first time i open the door of my apartment. Not only was the flooring coming up, there were marks all over the walls. The shower head was coming off the wall, and multiple different colors of white painted in the bathroom. ***Please see photos*** During my second week of living in this complex my car was towed (even though i have a parking permit on my car). After which I discovered that NONE of the security gates in the complex actually lock. Trash is dragged throughout all of the halls leaving a sticky, smelly residue that then gets tracked into your apartment. Do you think the $30 valet trash fee includes cleaning the hallways, hell no! This is my favorite part... The apartment above me does not have a sound barrier in the flooring. I know this because i constantly hear when my neighbor walks through his apartment, when he plays with this cats, and drops something on the floor. The upstairs apartment also does not have carpet in the bedroom (which is standard). I can hear him opening and closing his dresser at every night, and i am constantly awoken every time he drops something on the floor. With all of the issues I have had in such a short time living at this awful property, you would think that the manager would reach out to me personally. You would think that she would have come to my apartment to assess the issues. You would think wrong. Instead, i am treated as though i am annoying the staff for bring these issues up. Please think twice about leasing here and getting stuck in this nightmare for 12 months.

Save yourself a headache! -Garage is always broken. -Maintenance takes 2-3 days to respond. -Pool area is closed even though it’s outdoors. -No accesible public restroom in the entire property. - Poorly maintained - Apartment was not cleaned prior to move in ( Spiderwebs, Hair, Moldy dish washer, Hair in dryer vents, etc...) Won’t be renewing.

Incompetent management/staff (ignorant and rude on multiple occasions). Unsanitary facilities (hallways are littered with trash/debris/spills/insects). Poor maintenance (broken elevator x months and more). This place is horrible all around.

Will you please connect with us at centurymedical@firstcommunities.com with more details about your concerns? We look forward to making things right.
Terrible place! Switched management and everything has been broken since. Gates are always broken. They has been trash everywhere. There were cars that have been wrecked in the garage. Maintenance requests that haven’t been fulfilled. Awful. The transition was super inconvenient and the staff does not care. They don’t seem to know much. I would ask for information and they would say they’d call me back and never would. We couldn’t pay our rent online for two months. We have use checks or money order. My lease is up soon and I’m not renewing and even that process has been a hassle. It was a good apartment complex when I moved in but seriously there are better options nearby.

The maintenance personnel are very professional, prompt and friendly. They went above and beyond... and in an apt setting, that means everything
I've lived here 3 years and have been quite happy with the staff and their aid over the years. A once loose floorboard ended up require all of the wooden floor panels to be replaced. It was done with minimal issue to me and my furniture. Thanks!
Great customer service. Jessica & the gals up front offer top class service.
The office staff makes me feel welcome and valued. I really like the pool at this property and what matters to me is that the pool is clean and well maintained.
Very fast and followed up twice to verify the repair was done correctly
The planes are a little loud if you had kids, maintenance is amazing along the asst. Manager
In my third year at CMD, I can confidently say that each and every staff member makes a conscious effort address all of my concerns--be it management oriented or maintenance issues. The level of professionalism and timeliness shown by the CMD team towards each of my requests far exceeds my expectations.
So far I am more than satisfied with the maintenance & service group. Fast and effective. My past maintenance request was always met immediately next day. This time it took longer, 3 days, but still I'm happy about it. Thx!
I love my complex and the amenities offered. My favorite office person left (I haven?t seen him in a long time), and the assistant manager now always acts like I am an idiot when I ask questions.
If I could, I would give you 12 out of 10 :) I would recommend the proximity to UT Southwestern, the friendliness of the staff throughout my stay and even after that, when I needed to contact them and ask questions, they have been super nice. The only thing that bothered my (but was not a reason of my move at all) was that it was very easy to hear all the noises from nearby apartments and I know that even my walking around the apartment was bothering my neighbors, too. That's about it :)
Highly. Very good management and services. With my unique moving in situation, I was taken care of and it made the transition smooth
yes
I love living here! I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with a dog because the dog area is always nasty because people don't clean up after their dogs, but I LOVE MY APARTMENT!
My only complaint is that the sewer bill it's way too hi for what it does.
WHAT A JOKE OF AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and do not rent here. First of all, they have the most incompetent staff I’ve ever encountered while renting an apartment. Having worked in property management myself, I tend to sympathize with the staff because I know what they go through, but these people are just terrible. My roommate and I went back and forth with Siska for 4 months about a $1500 concession that was in our lease that they were not giving to us. On top of that someone charged our $600 pet deposit as a fee and we were told that we were basically SOL. A girl got mugged and assaulted and they wouldn’t even let her out of her lease! They also don’t hold packages in the office for any of the residents. You have to pay $30 to have your package put in a locker. They tried to get my roommate and I to stay by not raising our rent for our renewal, but at this point they would have to pay us to live here. I have never been so happy to move out of any apartment in my life. Lastly we scheduled a final walk through with Siska, but of course she never showed up. My advice to everyone is to stay away from Century Medical District and any other First Communities property.

Thank you for your review and comments. We appreciate the detailed information. Recently, Lincoln Property Company transitioned this asset from First Communities. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to introduce ourselves in the future. Please like us on Facebook as we'll be posting some future events that we would love for you to attend. Kind Regards, Century Medical Team
DO NOT LEASE HERE! I lived here for a year, and have not a single positive thing to say about my experience. First Communities staff is completely inept. Apartment home and property grounds are poorly maintained. This place is a shop of horrors. I work in property management, so I make sure to give every.single.benefit of the doubt when dealing with the leasing staff where I live. If there were one single redeeming quality, I would post it. Lease at your own risk.

Greetings! Thank you for your comments and feedback. Lincoln Property Company recently transitioned management of Century Medical District from First Communities. Please feel free to reach out to our manager Lauren M. at CenturyMedDistrictMgr@lincolnapts.com with any additional comments or concerns. Again, we thank you for your rating and hope to connect with you in the near future. Kind Regards, Century Medical District Team
I moved into this "luxury" apartment community April 15 and it might've been one of the worst mistakes of my life. First the property switched management and that's when it went downhill. The place became extremely filthy, animal filth everywhere, weeds growing everywhere. Customer service was terrible though I think the main problem was the property manager Tracy Harris. Everyone hated living there. I watched tenant after tenant pack up and leave. The worst part was when I was brutally attacked and left unconscious bleeding out on the property and not released from my lease. I was petrified living there... course they could care less all they wanted was their money. I've heard of other people's apartments broken into while they were away and best business practice minded properties let them out of their lease... This one... no. I haven't even started healing from this whole ordeal emotionally, because I'm having to fight for what I know is ethically right. Do not live here do not let your family live here. Do not let anyone do you love live here!! Run
My wife and I have lived here around 2 months and absolutely love it. The management team is great and has been very helpful with questions and concerns. The mail system here is top-notch too. Instead of being limited to picking up packages only when the staff is working, packages are put into storage units controlled electronically so when a package arrives, you are sent a code. You then enter the code and a storage unit opens containing your package. Parking hasnt ever been a problem and the apartments themselves are well maintained and very aesthetic. I would absolutely recommend this place.
I have lived here for a year (since the building was built/finished). The new managers are great but when I first leased this apartment I was told by Greystar that this complex was built by a doctor /investor and he wanted "only the best" to attract good tenants. Well, I moved there from The Standard near SMU (which really IS a beautiful property) and had problem after problem. The building quality is so poor, that I have to hang old blankets on the doors in my bedroom, closets and bathroom to keep the un-finished edges from catching and snagging my clothing. I signed my lease 2 weeks prior to moving into this building, and I was told that my apartment was still being painted as it was on the top floor and was one of the "special / designer" units. On the day of my move ... at EXACTLY the SAME time I was going over where to put things with my movers, I got a knock on the door. It was their Painters!! They came with a crew and ladders, etc. and they were going to begin to "FINISH" painting my walls, because there were patches of different shades of white, eggshell, glossy and primer all over the apartment. I was so upset that I called the property manager and told them that they would have to have this documented and NOT paint as I was moving in and could not make my movers wait for them to paint. They did not give me any additional $ off for this, and they actually required a full month deposit and I have good credit and rental history. They had plenty of time to do this BEFORE I moved into the space! Also, many issues were NOT addressed that should have been with the Greystar Management team that was initially there, but I just didn't want them to mess up anything else. I had just left a beautiful apartment to live in substandard housing that was being advertised as "up-scale" ... NOT TO MENTION, I AM PAYING over $ 200.00 MORE PER MONTH AND DON'T EVEN HAVE A GARAGE LIKE I HAD AT THE STANDARD!! I have to say that whomever designed and managed this building project did not have a clear picture of how they should handle their sub-contractors, as there were painters going in and out of the already occupied units trying to "Fix" what they did not do correctly the first time. I could not have painters in/out because I work mid-nights, and sleep during the day, so having to deal w/ bad paint job is all I could do. We are near UTSW Medical Center, and I love this location, but we have already had 2 crimes in our bldg. (hold up and a car stolen).
