CAUTION PET OWNERS! While this was a lovely place to live, beware if you own a pet. Upon moving out, you will be charged for replacing your entire unit's carpet. Unless you are ready to pay close to $2000 for a new carpet, I would choose a more pet friendly complex. This is not disclosed upon moving in and after living here as a responsible tenant, this additional charge felt very deceitful. You will also be required to pay a non-refundable pet fee upon moving in and an additional monthly fee added to your rent for your pet.

Lived there for over 4 years. Maybe a change in management not sure but has went down hill. Horrible maintenance. Have to do everything myself. Office staff has become ome toxic and neighbors become Karen's. If you are over the age of 50 this places is for u. If not stay clear.

The grounds and apartment were kept up well, and maintenance was quick to respond the few times we had any issues. Laundry can be tough if you don't have a washer and dryer--the laundry facilities are in small huts between buildings, so it can be a bit of a hike to do your wash.
I have lived at Chamberlain for almost a year, it is a gated complex in a great location. My address is Winston Salem but we are less than half a mile from clemmons. Anytime I call the office with a complaint or need something fixed the office has accommodated my request and it's always taken care of that day or the very next day. The office does do events and are all very nice. They are pet friendly and give my dogs treats if we stop by. I have read other reviews about bugs and pest, but another company comes by and sprays every friday, so I or my neighbors have ever had any issues. All in all its a great place to live.
I've lived in Chamberlain Place for a little over 1-1/2 years and I love it. It's very conveniently located to I-40 and many retailers/restaurants/grocery stores. The maintenance guys here are awesome, and respond very quickly to any requests I may have. The apartments are spacious, and have high ceilings (9ft in lower units, 13 vaulted ceilings in top floor units), nicely designed (granite countertops, ceramic tile in kitchen and bathroom, relatively new appliances and laundry hookup in each unit). It can be challenging to get the women in the front office to follow through on any questions you have, so be prepared to ask more than once. That's my only complaint. And the amenities are great - beautiful pool, 24-hr fitness room, lighted tennis court, playground for kids. I also think it is reasonably priced. I have no inclination to move, unless I move from the area :-)
