Three small, upper-middle-class neighborhoods, Middletown, Woodland Hills and Douglass Hills, and Anchorage, an upper-class community, make up the Outer East End of Louisville. Each community features a mixture of newer, more elaborate homes that mingle nicely with some of the historic architecture in the area. However, the homes in Anchorage remain the most elaborate in the area. Property Ratings at Champion Farms Apartments
They have dumpsters sitting out in parking areas. Besides how awful it looks there’s paint leaking and trash flying around. They took out the free vehicle vacuum so now the “car wash” area is a hose under some shades. I decided not to renew the lease and I can see my exact apartment listed online for $30 less at the same lease length than what I was offered. It’s like they’re not even trying to keep good tenants.

Ridiculous pricing. Horribly overpriced and not a good management company. I tried getting information about my lease from the office and was never contacted back. By “coincidence” my lease renewal letter was stuck in my door two days later and the lowest priced term is still $100 more a month than the online listed price for the floor plan. What a horrible way to treat your tenants. I’ve never been so disappointed in an apartment complex.

Mold in air ducts, A company came out and said they were not certified in mold removal and left the apartment never address the issue. Although they let me out of my lease they left NEGATIVE REMARKS ON MY CREDIT!

Thank you for review. We appreciate all feedback provided from our previous residents. The safety and wellbeing of our residents is our first priority. If there was in fact mold detected in an apartment, the proper mold remediation is extremely difficult to achieve when an apartment is occupied, which would prompt the allowance to vacate the apartment early with no penalty so that we can address the concerns before re-renting the apartment. In this specific instance the air ducts were cleaned, the air handler replaced, and any pending concerns were resolved for the maximum enjoyment of the apartment home. Ultimately the past due balance was specific to utilities that were not paid. There was no attempt to collect any past due rent balances. At the time of move out every resident is notified by email and mail of any past due balances and then given 30 days to rectify. Unfortunately, if the balance is not settled within 30 days the balance is transferred to a debt collection agency. Again, we thank you for your feedback! The area is fantastic--movie theatre across the street, restaurants and shopping all along that main thoroughfare--that's it!
The location of Champion Farms is ideal. Walking distance to pretty much anything you could need. It's close to work for me as well so that is a definite plus. However, we were told water/sewer/trash was every other month and now we are getting billed monthly so I feel that we were lied to..on top of that for as much as you pay and being in the east end you would think that the apartment itself would be much better quality. It's little things you notice once you move in like; old appliances,cheap paint etc...It is quiet in the unit I live in and seems safe...over all I would recommend just be sure you know what you're getting into.
