Property Ratings at Chapel Hill North
The leasing office has been extremely unprofessional and unresponsive to residents' concerns. Recently, they hired workers to repair the roof, and despite community guidelines, the workers have been starting their repairs as early as 7:00 AM every morning. The noise from the roof is incredibly loud and disruptive, making it impossible for residents to rest peacefully in their own homes. What’s even more frustrating is that the leasing office has done nothing to address this issue. Despite multiple emails and complaints over several weeks, the workers continue to start early, and the noise persists every morning. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of consideration for residents' well-being and a failure to enforce basic rules. If I could give the management zero stars, I would. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend this property to anyone who values professionalism or a peaceful living environment.

I moved here at the beginning of the year and I still feel so lucky to live here. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful no matter what I need. Maintenance is easy to request and promptly fixes any issue. I love how quiet it is at all hours of the day. My dog absolutely loves the dog park. I live in a THA1 layout and it's spacious enough for both of us.
Toured this place during the weekday. Leasing staff were immediately helpful and answering all my questions about their 1B/1Ba layouts. I was able to see their model which is a townhome style, it still helped with the idea of all the other layouts. They were even sweet enough to have the refrigerator stocked with drinks and snacks. Beautiful amenities such as the courtyard, playground, basketball court, and my favorite being the community garden! I really enjoyed this experience
Everyone wears a mask and is super friendly. Staff is always friendly and ready to help with any questions or concerns. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome!
I only have positive things to say about Chapel Hill North! I just had a couple of days to find an apartment when I moved to North Carolina earlier this year, and Sharonette helped me find the perfect unit for me right away. From Day 1, Sharonette and Ms. Sandy have been very welcoming to me. The premises are well-maintained and maintenance requests are done almost immediately. I want to thank the front office for hosting and organizing so many fun events -- we have a great community here! I highly recommend Chapel Hill North to anyone looking for a great place to live. -Calvin, Apt 314
2020 has been a real test for rental complexes, and CHN has passed with high grades. The grounds, units and amenities are newer and above average for the area, but it’s the staff, particularly Sharonette Smart in the office, who go above and beyond. She looks at the needs of each tenant as an individual and seems to work 15-hour days. This would have been a dismal year without her, instead of merely difficult.
Regarding the property itself, the Chapel Hill North complex is quiet and well-maintained. However, my complaint concerns management, specifically the leasing office. They act very nice, sweet, and welcoming (sometimes overbearingly), but once you are officially a resident, their whole demeanor changes. When you need assistance, they are slow (or never) respond. They also try to "pay" other residents to write glowing reviews by offering prizes, so beware of that as well. Just be careful when judging Chapel Hill North from the initial meeting with the front office.
Walking in the ground gives you a sense of security..Wonderful atmosphere for kids
