10 miles south of Lake Erie, Chardon is a charming small town located within the “Snow Belt” of the Buckeye State. Chardon has an average of 78 inches of snow per year, making it a wonderland for snowflake lovers. Chardon is a part of Geauga County, which is known around the world for being one of the best places to make maple syrup. The suburban town has good schools, making it a great place to raise families.
For fun, you can find the community spending their time outdoors. There are several golf courses and parks in the area. Take a stroll down a portion of the Buckeye Trail, a 1,444-mile hiking pathway that loops through wooded trails, rivers, and abandoned railroads to give a special perspective of the state. Chardon also has a very strong performing arts scene. The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild produces a series of youth shows and plays. The theater also offers dances classes.

The process of viewing and scheduling was super easy and moving in went very smoothly. Jessica the property manager was incredibly helpful! The space is perfect.
Recently moved in and was impressed with how clean and updated the rental was. The property manager Jessica was incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout the move in process. We moved in during a particularly snowy week, fortunately the parking areas and walkways were well maintained.
We moved into our town home and couldn’t be happier. The renovations are beautiful and the location is great. The move in process was so easy and Jessica was extremely helpful. She responds in a timely manner and extremely knowledgeable.
I moved in and the process was so smooth and well organized. I got a unit that was freshly renovated and everything looked and worked amazing!! Jessica responds promptly to any of my questions and very welcoming. The property itself is always landscaped and the dog park is so nice to have for my pet! More than happy with my first apartment experience.
The complex is well maintained, the scenery is beautiful and it is a prime location. You definitely get what you pay for, the townhouse is beautiful and worth every penny. The property manager is so helpful and easy to communicate with. We love our new place and are looking forward to living here!
Chardon Place Apartments is a great choice for anyone looking for an apartment in the area. I recently moved here in July and am so glad to say that I have had nothing short of great experiences with the apartment itself, staff, and surrounding area. The property manager, Jessica, is very welcoming and she always answers her emails quickly and gets her job done better than anyone else I have seen. She ensures I get the resources I need at my request and never makes me feel like a burden when I ask. Furthermore, I made a maintenance request that was answered within an hour and had someone come out as soon as they were available the next day or so. Everyone I have spoken to here is very kind and professional and I am glad to call CP my home.
There are many stores and restaurants and gyms within a 5-10 minute drive. All of the appliances in the apartment are new. Brand new flooring and painted walls. Parking is not a problem at all. You have your own washer dryer in your apartment. The only draw back is the price.
I cannot express enough how wonderful and efficient the property manager (Jessica) and the crew are. Jessica & the team have by far been the best I’ve dealt with, Jessica's willingness to solve issues in a timely manner and fantastic communication skills has made my leasing experience very pleasant and easy. The property is very well maintained and lovely.. EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
I moved to Chardon Place in September 2023. Jessica was extremely helpful prior to move in and during my stay. Maintenance has been very prompt whenever I have needed something. Maintenance has also been very nice and will stop me to see my dog when we are out on walks. The residents there have been very friendly and it has been a great place to have my daughter and my dog. The unit itself is very nice. It was renovated prior to moving in and I have been very pleased with it. I was specifically looking for a place that had at least 2 bedrooms, allowed pets, and had in unit laundry. Chardon Place hit all three of those and the location is great. Right across from Walmart and Home Depot, down the street from other major stores and restaurants, and close enough to Amazon to get same day delivery as an option for a lot of things. I highly recommend checking out Chardon Place if you are looking for a new apartment!
Chardon Place is located in a convenient location and my one-bedroom is spacious and has a nice view of the green space behind the building. Management is very responsive, and I am happy with the look and feel of my renovated apartment.
Recently renovated, I found the CP apartments to be a comfortable, safe and quiet place to live. The apartment complex is located close to shopping and services. The management and maintenance personnel have been very responsive, resolving reported problems very quickly. Also a nice feature is the Chardon Place (B7 properties) web site for reporting/scheduling maintenance issues and payment.
