Property Ratings at Chardonnay Ridge
I love it. The neighbors are friendly. It always looks clean & tidy. It's quiet & No drama. The atmosphere is pleasant. Calm, nice welcoming.I just love it.
My time has been great the rooms are very roomy people around me and find me and I enjoyed this area very much. I love the fact that I have a washer and dryer
Great people and a very nice complex the people are very sweet and nice they landlord is very generous and amazing and very helpful and friendly
The location is hit or miss depending on what you are looking for. The biggest problem dacing the community now IS the community. Most dog owners do not pick-up their pets droppings, so walking on any grass is out of the question. Tennants cannot throw their garbage IN the dumpster, just TO the dumpster. Parking is ridiculous and persons park as they see fit, including blocking roadways at times. The parking area floods everytime it rains. The units are old, have single paned windows, are drafty, have asbestos, lead, roaches, and mold. We have no on-site maintenance person at this time, being the third instance in 4 years. Progress is slow, yet there.
it’s great! love the friendliness that everyone has when approaching you or passing by you around the walkings. everyone minds their business and that’s awesome.
Great place to live. Very beautiful place to live, There are lots of good places to eat and shop. Very friendly staff who truly care about the environment
Such a beautiful quiet clean community. Maintenance very well always making sure it’s tooken care of. Love the dog community great way to meet new furry friends
Complex infested with roaches and Bedbugs, management does nothing, they let trash back up for 3 weeks, refuse to do repairs, and wont service pool.
Nothing written here applies to Chardonnay Ridge after February 2016 when the complex was purchased by Positive Investments. This apartment complex was 4 star before then, now I would give it 1 star only because I have no other option. for the money, you can do much better than Chardonnay Ridge. The apartments are roach invested, grounds are always full of garbage, the maintenance man is over worked, and the office manager is rude and dishonest. Don't move here you will be wasting your money. I can say these opinions because I have been living here for over 3 and a half years. I'm gone when my lease is up.
The most unprofessional and disgusting apartments and front office staff. I rented for 6 months and ended my contract early due to how horrible of an experience I had living here. The front office lady is completely rude, does not care about the people living there and has completely run the place down. It is built very poorly and I felt my sons safety was at risk. The people that do the yard work leave everything a mess and would constantly blow all the leaves into my •tiny• little patio. I was constantly blocked in my parking space due to the lack of parking and people not caring to park on the red zone.
Don't move here unless you enjoy waking up daily to cockroaches that the exterminator just couldnt seem to be able to exterminate. Seriously disgusting finding them everywhere, on the dishes in the cabinet, in the bathrooms hiding behind the mirror. The air conditioner wall unit was a joke as well. The only area that would get semi cool would be the living room where it was at, but trying to sleep in the bedroom on those hot summer nights was ridiculous. Had to move the bed into the living room just so we wouldn't melt. Now onto the safety of the area.. never have I lived in such a sketchy area. My car was stolen, but thankfully the police found it in one piece. A week after getting it back it was broken into. Ended up having to splurge on a good car alarm which alerted me practically daily that someone had attempted breaking into it the night before. Constantly would see hooded figures skulking around the parking lot when I would come home from work early in the morning. Seriously do yourself a favor and find a safer neighborhood to live in.
That like in it's name, Chardonnay Ridge is a nice quaint residence. It's been newly remodeled and has beautiful landscaping. I have only been there a month but greatly enjoy it. It's located in central Modesto minutes away from pretty much everything. These apartments are also very quiet as I never hear anything from my surrounding neighbors. It is also pet friendly up to 85lbs which is a nice plus.
The landscaping here is very impressive compared to the other places I looked. There is pool area, and a fitness center I haven't had a chance to try yet. Overall, my girlfriend and I love that the area is quiet and feels very safe. The apartment interiors are nice. It seemed to be freshly painted. There are a lot of mirrors in the apartment, which helps to make it feel bigger and brighter. My only gripe is that the windows must be single pane, because they do very little to keep the heat out. Our wall mounted ac unit has some trouble keeping up at the hottest part of the day. All in all, we love it here and plan to stay until we've saved up enough for a house.
