Been living here for 3 years and this place has really changed. People with dogs are disrespectful not picking up there dog poop. Some people patios is so nasty and dirty.
Charlestowne is a very good apartment complex to live in is quiet, peaceful and clean.
The move in process was simple and easy. Rosa made the transition smooth for me. The community is really quiet and the neighbors are not loud at all.
Nice, calm and quiet community. Nice management. Good people around mostly.

During our selection process for housing for our son attending KSU we visited several properties and Charlestowne was hands down the best choice. The leasing staff was responsive, professional, and very genuine. We are also very happy with the apartment and how quiet the property is.

Love the apartments! Great staff! Before moving in we lived in an apartment where I could never get in touch with the office staff. At Charlestowne, they have always answered or called back within the same day! Submitted a maintenance request at 10 PM on a Thursday, they fixed the issue by lunch on Friday!

Charlestowne is a great community to live in. The property is always kept clean. I’ve been staying here a long time it’s convenient and close to all my shopping needs.
We have lived at Charlestowne Aprs going on 9 yes and we love it here. It's quite, great neighbors, the property is clean, excellently maintained. Office staff is attentive to our needs, Maintenance is the best and the amenities are renovated and really nice. Apts are a bit pricey(same /no worse than others), but in the Kennesaw area the location is convenient to everything, schools, shopping and the highway, but secluded enough for walking and privacy. Overall a great place to live.
The unit I was in had terrible mold causing black mold poisoning (serious health issue) which lingered for around 6 months after I moved out. They denied all claims of mold and said it was only moisture. The manager and office staff were not helpful, friendly, or even concerned about the issue. While there was indeed a moisture issue, the complex did not have it under control, which is most likely what cause the mold to form around all of the windows in the unit. Management said that bleaching the areas multiple times a week is a part of regular cleaning that tenants are responsible for. Despite spraying bleach and scrubbing the mold, it always came back. Bleach does not kill black mold. When talking with the manager all she cared about was if I had proof that I had black mold poisoning. She did not seem to genuinely care about tenants or their health. According to a staff member, there was a construction error that is causing the building (at least the one I was in) to rot and mold (which seemed visually obvious when I looked at the outside of the building). There are not any governing agencies to protect tenants, and enforce mold codes in Georgia like there are in places like California. Be very aware of any signs of mold, this is a common issue with rental apartments in Georgia. If you are suspicious of mold and your complex management does not make an effort to help or fix the issue, hire a mold specialist outside of the rental company who will provide truthful results. You can also do an at home mold test kit, but that might not be enough evidence for the complex because of possible inaccuracies with the test kit. Doing this gives you evidence of the mold which can help you get out of your unit/ lease, or give them another chance to fix it depending on the severity of the mold. Fixing mold in any building is expensive and time consuming, so many companies will basically gaslight you into thinking there is nothing wrong. It looked like a very nice apartment, and the location was very convenient, but the mold caused everyone in the unit to be very sick. I would not recommend this complex to anyone because of the possible health risk.
My husband and I have been her for for 8 yrs and it has been great for the most part. You have mngt come and go as many places do. Overall they were good. Our Managerial staff, Cassie is Fabulous and her team is too. The maintenance is the best I've ever known, especially Clay. The property is clean, amenities are updated an really nice-pool, fireplace, gym, hammocks, dog park. Landscaped/maintenance weekly. No trash laying around and all safety requirements are done regularly. Mngt offers social activities for residents as well. Location is great too-near shopping, KSU and major highways to Atl. Overall a great place to live. Only complaint is its getting expensive like all the others.
The complex is clean and the office staff is very friendly. The maintenance team is also very friendly.

While I was living there i had to deal with problems such as black mold and a massive amount of roaches. apartments are decent size but i have lived in multiple areas and in each area I had to deal with a lot of noise including construction noises at night from the other side of big shanty road.
Fantastic Community and I love coming home everyday. Paris is an amazing property manager and maintenance staff are quick to resolve issues that are presented. Parking is not really an issue from the time that I have been here and I'm about halfway through my lease. I plan on renewing once the lease is up as well. No issues with pests in my apartment either, friendly staff upfront and fun events too!

To start, it was great living there due to the pricing. Be aware the only upgrades is the hardwood flooring and new carpet. After a couple months into the lease I had a serious roach issue and then mice issue. The electricity in the building has issues; we noticed when the above apartment would use their kitchen amenities our lights would go dim. The maintenance guys are very nice but if you need a part for anything don’t wait on it. They also have have a dog park but no park for kids so they all run around the buildings and it can be very disturbing.

Good thing the complex is actually in a state that isnt in disarray!! At move in there were a few issues I had and all the manager could say and I quote "Nothing I can do about that!". You are the on premise manager, you are here not just for show nor an icon but to help. the complex is small and as such not a lot of dumb things go on. The community is about avg. No cars on blocks at least, and you are supposed to have a parking pass to park in the lot (so college kids and others do not take up spots). Benefit is the place does have garages, sad part is they are WELL above market rate! Overall as long as you do not have an issue its an ok place. Just do not rely on management. The staff that works for her are A1, shes just where the buck stops.
I love my apartment at Charlestowne in Kennesaw, GA. The location is great and not too far from metro Atlanta. It's like having luxury living without the luxury prices. The staff is great and maintenance is quick. One of my favorite things is when the staff surprises us by driving around handing out free chik-fil-a breakfast for the residents. I love sitting by the pool and they recently installed these huge hammocks and a new grilling area. I also love that its gated and the community feels very safe.
