Sterling Park retains much of the character it developed as a planned community in the 1960s, with quiet neighborhoods including apartments and townhouses for rent within walking distance of shopping centers, schools, and parks. Sterling Park residents have short commutes to workplaces along the Dulles Technology Corridor. Some commuters find it more convenient to bike to work on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail, which passes right through Sterling Park. Sterling Park lies six miles northwest of Dulles International Airport and 27 miles northeast of Washington.
Take the kids to Gwen Thompson Briar Patch Park to play on the well-maintained playground and basketball courts. A few blocks away, the Sterling Community Center hosts the town library and kids' summer camps as well as year-round drop-in basketball, volleyball, and archery in the gym.
In the autumn, the community hosts SterlingFest, with fun rides, activities, and booths offering foods and crafts.

Property Ratings at Chase Heritage
The front desk staff are friendly but seems very fake. They will sweet talk you then hit you with unexpected fees. The place is old and in bad shape but it's livable if you have no choice. If you have enough money don't go cheap and live here, you will regret it. First week I moved in, I saw mice run across the kitchen. I called the office and they sent over Pest Control but it's useless. You get charged monthly pest control fee and it does nothing. The pest control person will come just to put cheap glue trap on different areas of your apartment and call it a day. The mice here in Chase Heritage Apartments are very smart. I caught like 4 mice and they still keep coming back even smarter. I stopped calling the apartment office because it is no help so I decided to spend my own money and time to catch the mice. The neighbors across from me caught 14-16 mice and they keep coming back. Chase Heritage needs new Management and demolish the entire apartment complex to make a new one because this place is awful.
The neighborhood is very safe and clean. All the staff that works here that we have communicated with have been very kind and always try to resolve any issues.

I am waiting to end of the lease so I can move. Pool was dirty, gym is not open for a year. Totally not recommended. Leasing office is lying about gym whenever I ask, next week next month but no it is not going to be open until I move out

Hi this is my review of moving into the chase heritage apartment complex in Sterling, Virginia of the United States of America. It’s was very fast easy and stress free.
Very helpful staff good atmosphere . Neighborhood is very friendly and very welcoming to the people who live there and they are very supportive to the residents
Very excellent Appartment. Atmosphere is very good, leasing office staff behavior is very good, technical support is also very helpful. Leasing office staff Grace she is very good and humble lady.
Muy bonito la verdad es muy tranquilo y calmado la mayoría de personas son muy amables y me siento muy segura me gusta vivir acá a muy bonito el parque
This neighborhood is very safe I would just work on the trash not being out outside allowed hours and open the gym back up because without that there aren’t many amenities
Is a Great Community, good neighbors, good amenities, customer service, ladies, front office they always help me to solve any problem in my apartment.
Average apartment complex. Prices are going up but these apartments are too old to follow these current rates. The best part is convenience. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance
Great community and love how we can walking around and then playing around with our family and we would love to keep staying her at Chase Heritage because it look like a great community to stay in
Good communication, looking to be better, professional service, working to have a better apartments, always listening if we have questions or anything
We have had a great experience living here. I feel very safe living here and love how quiet it is and how close everything is to our apartment.
So far so good, going on 6.5 months now. No major complaints all minimal and have been pretty much resolved by leasing office. Not bad area either.
Great place to live. Chase heritage good place to be living in. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very clean an nice apartment their staff care about any concern residents have. They act quick.
Property is ok. Rates have skyrocketed over the last year making it hard for regulars to stay. Maintenance are professionals and complete the work at rhe time given. All apartments should be given free or very cheap renovations due to how old the apartments really are inside and out.
I love Chase Heritage location because everything we need is right in the corner like the shopping stores centers, hwy 28 north and south. Neighborhood is really peaceful
amazing service and quality and accomodations. generous amenities and customer service. front office.is very accomodating amd helpful when it comes to questions and concerns or anything else that may arise withim the community
Muy buen entorno excelente servicio me ancanta que todo siempre esta en su lugar el lugar es muy tranquilo y los vecinos son muy respetuosos

Excellent very clean very nice and attentive prices very comfortable the best place for your home Lugar muy bonito el mejor lugar para vivir
I love Chase Heritage Apts because is quiet, love the ameneties, like the pool ando the play yard. I wish to have the GYM but it's being closed long time ago.
Very good hosts and very nice place, everything went smooth when moving in. Grace was very nice and she helped me with every little detail to get me into my new apartment.

Welcome to the community! We are delighted to know your move-in went smoothly, and we will be sure to pass your compliments along to Grace. Thank you.
I just paid$666.68 in charges forgot cleaning appliances, and damage to out of date patio blinds. The most outrageous bill was $478.64 for carpet damage for carpet that had to be replaced anyway because I had two cats and lived there for 2 years. Damage was going to be made to the carpet regardless because of the 2 years worth of wear and tear from living there. I know Chase Heritage was not going to keep that carpet and ethically as well as hygienically apartments should change carpets with each new tenet. Shame on Chase Heritage, the Community Manager ,as well as the Assistant Manager for their egregious and unethical practices. August 19, 2019-August 11 2021 APT 204.

If there is a Negative Star, i would've. Just the worst place to live since the new management has taken over. I lived here for over two years and moved out as soon as the New Management took over. I also have friends living here and they have the same complaints. They do not take care of any Service quickly, but they are ready to charge anyone real fast if there is a simplest of issues which is the most ridiculous thing. The new Manager and the assistant are just seriously the most annoying and pompous people you'll ever find. I am out and would never suggest anyone here. Stay away from this place, or you will regret pretty fast.
4/10/2019 EDIT: Staff continues to enter apartment without warning or notice. Brought to management multiple times, no improvement. Windows left wide open all day with AC running. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original Review This review is going to be a tough one. I have lived in some terrible places and some great places. This location is an ok location. General Thoughts: It's a great place to stay for about a year or so while you scope out the area for a better place. I rate it a 3. I consider 1 to be absolutely avoid, 2 tolerable, 3 decent and worth the price, 4 to be great, and 5 to be absolutely amazing. PROS: The parking is not nearly as bad as some have said. I've never had to worry about parking. The office staff is great. I really enjoy speaking with them and have found them helpful. I think the price is fair for the location. My 1bed 1ba is a great size and I love that there is a washer and dryer in the unit. There is a great deal of shopping locations within a very short distance, -1mile. CONS: My personal issue is with the constant beer cans and empty beer boxes left all over during weekends. I had several beer cans end up in my truck bed come Monday morning. I would expect this of a street side location but not a apartment complex. There is a school right down the road. Be prepared for kids "young adults" to hang around and cause problems. Unfortunately that comes with the territory. There is no public dumpster. You have to leave the trash outside your door and it can smell pretty ripe in the summer. From time to time the trash crew may not come by. You may then end up with critters visiting your doorstep.
Not the greatest place to live. My wife and I are only staying here because we're tired of moving and we're waiting to get our finances in order to purchase a condo (we'll probably move at some point if they continue to annoy us even if our situation with purchasing a condo isn't ready yet). Plus, it's generally a little cheaper than everything else in the area. That's the positive side. Here are all my problems with this place: 1.) This place has quite a lot of cockroaches and mice which is why they have almost monthly pest inspections. Pretty much they have an infestation, I'm assuming. We have a cat so that helps with any rodent problems but it's disgusting. 2.) They are extremely strict with renters and try to fine you for everything. For example, I put my bag of recycling in the recycling bin (which I don't think they actually recycle because I did see them once dumping the recycling with the trash) and they actually opened up the bag and looked for my discarded mail and took a picture and said I owed $50 for leaving my "trash" outside the dumpster. To be honest, I don't even think that's legal. So now we bring our recycling to a recycling center. Also, I think they try to threaten you with unnecessary fees because they're hoping you slip up and they can get some more money out of you. 3.) All their appliances are broken and we had to consistently call the maintain team. Sometimes they say a problem is fixed but of course it isn't. 4.) The office team looks down on you and acts very condescending. Not super happy with them. 5.) Several times the maintain team and (almost monthly) pest inspections open the door without giving me a chance to get up and answer the door...which wouldn't be a problem if I had known about it beforehand. However, there have been times when they showed up unannounced. I asked the front office why someone showed up without any warning and immediately opened my door and they said there was a notification on everyone's door but the wind must have blown it away...except the envelopes are usually stuffed underneath the "door knocker" and I work from home so I always hear when they place stuff on the door. I basically work right next to the door so I would have heard it. Total lie because they know they have to give at least a 24 hour notice before they enter an apartment according to the lease. It's a lease violation for them. In short, definitely don't rent here.
I moved into Chase Heritage Apartments a little over a year ago and, at the time, it was fine. We had been promised an updated kitchen and didn't receive it, but otherwise, I had no real objections. However, after it was taken over by Chander Residential last year, the place has been trending way down, even though they raised the rent significantly. Here are a few examples of issues I have had: - I have had mistakes related to my billing in four different months (out of about eight) and some of them came with threats of eviction, even though I had paid everything in full and on time. - After a recent surprise pest inspection (that we had to prepare for on short notice TWICE because they mixed up their days the first time), management sent out a mass email saying they would offer free exterminations to anyone with issues. After never having issues with bugs in the past, we have been seeing them show up regularly in the kitchen in the weeks since, which tells us they became aware that some sort of infestation was happening ahead of time and they were trying to keep it quiet. - Maintenance is never in any hurry. When my fridge started to leak water all over the floor overnight, it took them six hours to send someone. I submitted a request almost two weeks ago about something else and we spoke to someone in the office twice about it since then and were promised they would make it a top priority. We're still waiting. - Some of the staff members have been rude/dismissive when I went in with a simple question. - This past weekend, we moved a desk and found mold growing underneath of it on the carpet. - Issues aren't just with management. Kids often use the gym as a playplace, which is pretty obnoxious if you're actually trying to exercise properly. We have also had issues with package thieves and people leaving trash around the area outside of our apartment, which never gets cleaned up. For these reasons and more I don't have space to write, I can't recommend this place at all. It is easily the worst place that I have lived and I am very eager to get out when my lease expires.
Property Manager at Chase Heritage, Responded To This Review
Dear resident: We appreciate your review and note that we have had a conversation right after it was posted. As discussed when we met, we would love to keep you happy while you make Chase Heritage your home. We are delighted to work with the challenges you mention in your review. We offer a maintenance emergency hotline and respond to resident requests in a timely fashion. For the comfort of our residents, we provide pest control services. We recently performed a mandatory clean-out of the entire property. This very effective service tends to activate pests and it may cause unusual sightings in places they don't usually exist. We also personally examined your mildew concern and determined there was never any water damage in that area. To put your mind at ease, the patch of carpet in question was removed and replaced with new carpeting. Our team is made up of professional, friendly staff and we are proud to provide excellent customer service to existing and prospective residents. We have an open door policy and invite you to bring your requests, suggestions or recommendations any time. Thank you.
Chase Heritage is a good community to live in. The office staff is always helpful. Things are taken care of in a timely manner when needed. The prices are reasonable for the area. My building has quite neighbors. I would say if you are looking for a good apartment home at a reasonable price in this area, this should be your new home!
