Newark’s dominant landmark and cultural hub is undeniably the University of Delaware campus, where the student body nearly matches the city’s population of permanent residents. Accordingly, many of the community’s resources are tailor-made for the collegiate crowd: an eclectic mix of restaurants and nightlife venues lines Main Street on the north side of campus, and affordable apartments are easy to find anywhere in town.
Despite the fact that it is primarily a college town, Newark maintains a diverse population with rental options available to suit any lifestyle. The sprawling nature preserves that border the northern end of the city provide gorgeous settings for hiking, camping, canoeing, and simply enjoying the great outdoors. Just thirty minutes from Wilmington, Newark also makes an excellent home base for commuters.

Property Ratings at Chasemont Apartments
I've only lived here for a couple months but so far everything's been great. Maintenance is quick when needed. The manager Mary is super nice and helpful. The building is secure and nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.
I enjoy the constant quiet. And the neighbors are very nice and helpful, Love their pets too. Access to laundry is a plus and additional storage if need too there is a trash chute too. So far so good. GOD BLESS ?? I FOUND A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE. THANKS!
I've been living here for awhile it's so great they always make sure that your good and if you need something fixed they will get right to it and friendly will always have smile on your face and the neighbors are so nice and will always say goodmorning and good afternoon to you
Excellent management, safe and quiet locations with well kept apartment units. Would Recommend highly to anyone in search of an apartment.
I've been living here for about a year and have had a great experience. The neighbors are all very nice to me and the management is very helpful. I would recommend.
This apartment seemed quiet at first and secluded which I liked, but I should have paid more attention to small things I noticed before moving in like a leak in the first floor hallway. I lived here 2 years and the water is off AT LEAST 2 to 3x per month, sometimes MORE, because of having to fix a leak! They have large dirty trash cans in the hall to catch the dripping water. Also the property manager Greg is very rude and condescending and not helpful at all. I had a major leak and it took hours to get a call back from maintenance. Also they added a new visitor parking policy where you have to get a guest pass if someone is staying past midnight so if you want to be monitored like you are in a college dorm this is the place for you! To top it off when I had issues with my car and had a rental, the manager told me I needed to park somewhere else because I did not have my parking pass even though I am a resident! Don't move here. You will regret it.
