Do not move here. Poor customer service, scorpions, and money hungry company. I’ve been asking for WiFi since May in the clubhouse and no one can get it fixed. I even emailed corporate and crickets. Cops are there constantly responding to calls and there is no security. The service is always poor and no one can ever fix the issues in my apartment. No compassion from the company and the front desk staff and they are just money hungry. Stay away from this apartment complex.
We just moved in from out of state and have been here for a month. So far so good! I love the office staff and the quiet apartment. I was worried about apartment living because I’ve owned a house for 30 years, but it’s going very well. I love the attached garage and private entry through the garage. We also love having no one above us or below us. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the dog poop. This isn’t really in the control of the apartment complex but it’s a bit gross. I pick up lots of other peoples dog poop because someone has to do it. Too bad people are not picking up after their pet. Other than that we really love this apartment complex and The Maintenance team is amazing. Great place!

Moved in July 19th. We didn't even see the apartment, before we moved in and were very nervous. Couldn't be happier with the Office Staff, or the Maintenance staff. Desiree helped out in every way, while we drove across the country. Everyone is very friendly. The grounds are well kept and the pool is wonderful. I have never been happier in an apartment. The property has events for the residents and the door is always open when you need them. Thank you for much for making this a wonderful experience. Some people DO NOT pick up after their dogs and that is shameful, but most of the dog owners are very respectful of others. I do not expect the staff to clean up after a dog. Residents should care more about the property and pick up the dog poo.
I moved into Chateau Calais 5-1/2 years ago after being a homeowner for the prior 15 years. I had recently gone through a divorce and wanted to find a place that was upscale and not just an average apartment, but yet affordable. Chateau Calais is undoubtedly the best complex in Henderson. I have looked at many other places over the last five years just to get a feel for what’s out there but I haven’t found one yet that has the amenities, is well kept and has the most value. The design of the units isn’t the traditional “block style.” All the upper units have vaulted ceilings and modern layouts. Most of all, the service and upkeep is incredible. Over the years, I have had water heaters go out, furnace, and other appliances break down. The maintenance people respond immediately and follow through. I woke up one Sunday morning at 5:30 am with no hot water and the maintenance people had it fixed by 8am that day. Another important factor is crime, there is virtually none. I have accidently left my front door and garage wide open a couple different times and never had a problem. The way the complex is designed it is a deterrent to burglars. While I am sure there have been some burglaries, I have never heard of one in the time I have been here. The office people are professional and genuinely care about your experience and will assist the best possible in all situations. This is definitely a five star complex! If you’re looking for the most value in Henderson, Chateau Calais is the place.

Rent I'd fair, but there are no none smoking restrictions. We have several smokers around our building and management ignores our frustrating.
I have lived in Chateau Calais for about a year and have been happy with my experience so far. These apartments go at a higher rate than many others in Henderson, but they are located in a great part of town and come with unique benefits. My favorite aspects of these apartments are their attached garages with interior steps (meaning you can walk directly into your unit from your garage). Also, many of these units do not have neighboring units above or below them, which is great for sound. I have only heard the neighbors next door a few times. The buildings themselves are much prettier than others I have seen and the grounds are decent, especially if you have pets. My only complaint is that it seems that maintenance of the common areas (gym, pools, paths) has suffered over the last few months. When I first moved in, the complex was very clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, I cannot say I I have been completely satisfied with its condition in recent months. Overall, however, I think this is a great complex if you don't mind paying a little extra for location.
