Property Ratings at Chateau Napoleon
Highly recommend looking elsewhere. We’ve lived here for a year and it’s been issue after issue. The hot water boiler goes out all the time, the ac’s don’t work correctly, the ceilings have water damage spots that have just been painted over. During a storm, the siding and parts of a balcony fell off onto people’s cars. It still hasn’t been fixed. The walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors using the bathroom if you’re in there too. They’ve also raised the rent without doing any improves to the property. And there’s a $892 fee if you don’t let them know within 60 days if you are moving out.
I have lived at Chateau Napoleon for a year now and it has been a constant struggle. It is nothing like what it looks like in the pictures. The first day I moved in there were several cosmetic issues. After having my car broken into and my friend’s with zero assistance from staff, I was so frustrated. Both cars were locked. I requested video footage and was told a manager would contact me and never did even after I called again. Several residents were being harassed for money on numerous occasions inside the gate including myself. The same guy is always there trying to scam people for money and yet again nothing done by staff. It doesn’t help that the gate is always broken including right now as I type this. Also having my rent continually changing amounts without explanation, I cannot live here anymore. I pay month to month at the moment and put in a 30 day notice after explaining all these frustrations. I was told I would have to pay a fee, understandable, but they couldn’t tell me what the fee was. Now as I get home I have a paper saying I have to pay over $800 to move out. I would strongly encourage anyone to find a different apartment complex under different management.
Excellent administration, clean and they attend to your needs always
Well-maintained apartment and grounds with a very helpful and competent staff. Convenient location, well-kept property and well-appointed apartment, pool with tables and grills, ample parking, well-maintained laundry facilities. Couldn't have asked for more and all at a very reasonable price.
I have lived here for few years and very happy to lived in this great property. The location is perfect. The property is kept and is very clean. Pool areas are clean and nice. Employees at the office and grounds are very nice. The maintenance issues are resolved pretty much quick. If you are looking for a great affordable place with pools, tennis court, outdoors track and gated community this is the right place!!
Living at the Chateau Napoleon Apartments has been a rewarding experience. I can truly appreciate the location of the property. Businesses and Services are less than 2 miles away. Peaceful neighbors throughout the property. The staff in the leasing office is professional and remarkable; goes out of their way to meet my needs or request in a timely manner. Very pleased to be a part of the community.
It is a very nice apartment, the staff especially Joesph is a great help, it’s very quite and comfortable, I’ve been here almost 2 years and every time I needed something it’s usually Joesph there helping for me. I must also add the neighbors are very nice and friendly.
Excellent Location, The administration is excellent, very clean, quiet.
There are so many Cons. The property manager or owner are not so nice or understanding. They don't have sympathy for your hardships or can't even empathy for you. They are so quick with trying to get an eviction or judgement possession on your record. I am 27 year old female from Ohio. They took advantage of me because I didn't know Louisiana laws for tenant and landlords. The residents were giving parking passes but visitors still park inside the gate leaving you no where to park. Reading the lease don't rent no more than 6 months!!!
My apartment is cozy and it has all the amenities I need. It fits my budget and the locale is perfect. Being centrally located just makes life a lot easier. All the establishments I frequent are a five minute drive away-local eateries, mall, grocery, bookstore, library, park and gym.
I have been living here since 2007. i love living here because the grounds are clean and the staff from the office to the grounds people are all super nice and very helpful.
My boyfriend and I went to visit this property on December 11,2019. We were amazed by how it looked on the website and by the price for the space. We went to view the place the office staff were pretty friendly. They took us out to the property to see what they had. We looked at one of their classic units first super dark but kind of cozy. We were really interested in a luxury apartment because of the finishes. YALL!!! We walked in the luxury apartment it was soooo beautiful and great for couples BUT I am assuming the apartments share air vents like dorm rooms because the smell of marijuana hit us at the door. Their are a lot of young teens that stay here that bang on doors and disturb the residents from what I seen. I wouldn’t recommend this place to people who don’t smoke or has kids!!! We were turned off by this place because we are young we are trying to start a family later on and I wouldn’t want my newborn inhaling that smell. They should really have a non smoking apartment building!
This apartment was quiet and well maintained when I first moved in. I felt safe at one time, but now I have to be extremely cautious of my surroundings. People hang out all times of the day. As long as it "appears" that the individual can afford to pay the rent, they are letting anybody in without proper screening. Individuals walk their dogs without a leash, dog poop is left in the breezeway where individuals have to walk. So, if you're looking for somewhere quiet, clean and affordable, this is not the place.
We have lived here for 6 years. The staff is friendly and helpful, and we love the renovated apartments. Spacious, modern appliances and molding, and fairly quiet. The covered parking is a great addition, and we love using the pool, tennis courts and workout equipment. Great for small families!
