These apartments are not fair when it comes to the services they offer and what you pay for them from the internet included with them to the amenities they are supposed to have. They always have excuses when you confront them/or question them about them./Electric gate has never worked. The mail room has always had controversy. Pool and the Gym was closed for more than 4 months. I have been in this complex for two years hoping it will improve and due to personal situations, I have not been able to move. I do not recommend to anybody.

The apartments are pretty nice! I loved all the amenities and the office staff is awesome!
Health and Safety out the window!! This place has everything from mold to crime. Day one (Nov 2021) our front door did not lock, it took 3 days for us to physically find a matienence man to fix the issue since the matienence request bin might as well be a trash can. Upon move in we reported our kitchen outlets not working (one year later it was never fixed despite multiple request), a powerless over (they forgot the cord), and Pipes sticking out of the walls (apparlenty shower handles weren't included in the reno?). We purchased handles as the complex stated "they didn't have any." By Feb our patio furniture was stolen the leasing office stated they would have railings installed on the patio (since our apt was one of maybe 4 that didnt have them) and as a surprise to no one that never happened. In May Cushman & Wakefield took over, we were optimistic but looking back now they may have been worse! also in May our upstairs neighboors water heater burst- flooding our apartment. It took 5 separate request and over 24hrs for them to even come to the apartment and matienence (and the property manager) both stated dry wall repairs would be needed as our walls were soft to the touch, we followed up on the repairs over 5 times they were never done and the walls became filled with mold to the point where we were getting sick. Upon move out we brought up our concerns and the drywall repairs AGAIN and they stated well the apartments already been re-leased it doesn't matter. The residents of the complex arent much better- constant parties in the common area (im talking tuesday nights until 1:30am blasting music) and band practice 20 feet from your window. All concerns were repeatidly brought up to the leasing office (with video/photo proof) to no avail. I wouldn't live here for free.

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived the management and maintenance are horrible. Management does not care about any maintenance issue you have until you have gone into the office multiple times, and bring it to the attention of the complex’s management company. The maintenance team is also incompetent and have no idea what they are doing. I came home one day to water blasting out of our air valve near our water heater because maintenance had attached the buildings water valve to our air valve. If I had not been home when this happened to tell them to shut it off our entire apartment would have flooded and all of our things would have been ruined. Please please stay away from this complex

I moved in July 2021 and the neighborhood is quite for the most part. That is all the good there is. I have been waiting for my a/c to be fixed for almost 14 weeks and counting!!! Need something fixed good luck you are better taking care of it yourself if you know how to that is! Management will act like they care but clearly don’t at all!!! To everyone that is thinking about renting here don’t!

Absolutely unhelpful and unprofessional managment, apartment has water damage and black mold, outside is littered with trash. However they would rather spend money on painting ONE wall of the apartment building than fixing the units.

I live here since September 2021 and at the beginning was good but soon after the new management company came in ,it has so bad we have without hallway lights for over 5 weeks wrote both online and in person maintenance requests and they did absolutely nothing ,it is very unsafe on my building at night after it gets dark we don't even go out and the trash removal is another problem we're paying for that and and does not get picked up I have to take it to the container every night so If you're thinking about renting here think again for the price you can get a better place elsewhere...and management if you want to know who I am go to the maintenance requests you'll find my name and you can call me anytime

The dumpsters are consistently overflowing. The trash just piles up in front of the dumpsters (as does the valet trash staff which you pay $25/month). When the trash truck comes, it drags the bags into the lot delivering trash throughout the space and traps the garbage underneath. There is broken glass on side walks, and I routinely pick up broken beer bottles from just off the side of the sidewalk. We have alerted management multiple times and it doesn’t change. If it’s on a weekend, good luck of having anything resolved. The communication from the management is consistently incorrect and lacks follow through. The apartment was supposed to have been “renovated,” but it was just painted over, and I mean all over including the windows, counter tops, cabinets, outlets, and light switches. There are stains on the counter tops, the sinks are rusted. The tub is also rusting and the “fixes” are coming off of the porcelain. It seems some others have actual renovations and may be nice, but that has not been our experience. The good parts are that it’s convenient to the parks, expressways, and the sidewalks surrounding the outside of the property are nice, but you have to really watch because traffic often does not stop at stop signs and speeds through all roads.

I live here and I am going to say RUN! Run fast and far from this place . 1. 7 break ins in less than 3 weeks and the office’s response were …’’ no place is truely safe.. there isn’t much we can do’’. 2. Modified car noises at all hours of the night 3. Mysterious gun shots at all hours 4. Roaches roaches roaches 5. Maintenance is non existent 6. The office staff is incompetent 7. Gate never works haha you WILL get locked out and the emergency maintenance is non existent Im going to repeat DO NOT RENT HERE

My suggestion would be run away from here as quickly as possible. Stuff break down in the apartments all the time I understand but you have maintenance people that do not come out and fix such things that are in the apartment. Also be on the awareness you will have an AC unit stuck out of your window for at least 2 to 3 months. Don’t let it get cold because then you won’t have any heat. Nobody answers the phone or calls back messages. They start adding fees to your lease.

We spent the first month living here without access to Wi-Fi and the first two months without the washer and dryer that were supposed to already be installed before we moved in. We got lucky that our unit doesn't seem to have as many maintenance issues that other residents seem to run into because it takes weeks for maintenance to respond to anything. Mail gets delivered to the office and then you have to hope the office is open when you are home (they often close early without warning). A lot of mail gets delivered to the wrong people or gets lost. We use to have a security guard until they put in gates. Now we have no security guard and gates that are literally always open. We got valet trash added to our rent without the option to opt-out and without it being reliable. Trash often sits at people's doors for days without being picked up and then it gets dragged to dumpsters that aren't getting emptied enough so there's piles of trash in the parking lot. They dropped a lot of money on a new clubhouse and a pickle ball court yet we still don't have lighting in the exterior hallways, constant issues with low water pressure, sprinklers that flood the parking lot and overflowing trash area every night, etc. Avoid at all costs.

We are always working to ensure that the security gates are in working order. In some cases, the gates are hit by resident vehicles causing them to break, which is unfortunately out of our control. We work as quickly as possible to have them repaired and back in working order. Additionally, there are a lot of residents entering and exiting the property, having them appear to always be open. If you have any open maintenance requests for your home, we would be happy to speak with you about them to ensure that they are in queue. We will look into any trash issues and address them accordingly as we do want our property to be clean and safe for all of our residents to enjoy. I have rented for going on seven years now in two states and four different rental companies. I cannot believe the sheer scope of problems I myself and many of my neighbors have had at Chatham Square apartments. When we moved into our 2 bed 2 bath unit we did not have the promised washer and dryer and our stove had two broken burners. Among many other smaller issues, these were not addressed for three weeks! After the first week of waiting we began calling daily, often taking 4-5 calls just to reach someone in the office where they would promptly give you an excuse and send you on your way. After the second week of waiting, I began going into the office in person where we soon learned they will lie to your face in order to get out of the office. Every single day I was told maintenance personnel would be in my unit within 30minutes or two hours or by the end of the day, to no avail. This is the experience of every single tenant that I have talked to here at Chatham Square. On top of this dumpsters are overflowing, the pool is not taken care of, the security gate is always open, we do not have proper mailboxes, just little cubbie boxes like grade school. I cannot stress enough how little I could recommend this place to anyone with another option.
