Property Ratings at Chelsea Village
We've been here for about 6 months now and are very happy with our apartment and the staff at Chelsea Village. The day we moved in Heather was very helpful with paperwork and telling us all about the apartment, our neighbors are very nice, and we all get along. The day we moved in I was helping my husband carry in a couch and was just too heavy for me, the superintendent (Neal) was walking by and said need a hand? They got it in with no trouble and my husband went to tip him and he said no don't worry about it, welcome to the neighborhood, a very nice feeling to start our new home, CP
Grounds are very clean as was my apt, Staff is very friendly and helpful, One tech was promoted to a other postion but other than that has been same staff for the 7 yrs I've lived here which as a single woman makes me feel very safe and secure.
I moved in little over 6 yrs now and am very happy with both the apartment and the staff at Chelsea Village. I've only had a few issues and they were all addressed in a timely matter. The Maintenace staff are very helpful and friendly and have a way of just making you feel your home not just a tenant.
Lived here for 3 months and froze with no heat in the winter from January through March. I complained repeatedly, but the heat was never fixed. I should have known better than to rent an apartment from a property manager who insisted people continued to rent from this property "without ever visiting personally!: The apartment also had mold and smelled disgusting with the windows closed. The apartment complex covered it all up with fresh paint, which worked until the weather turned cold and I had to close the windows. Evertything is falling apart here. No number of complaints worked and eviction proceedings were initiated against me, even though I paid my rent.

We are so sorry that your experience at Chelsea Village did not meet your expectations. We set our standards high and we apologize that we missed the mark in this case. Please know that we have no records of mold on the property and as a rule, we always paint the entire apartment, prior to a new resident’s move-in. The heat at Chelsea Village is on a main boiler system, that services several buildings. We do not have any records of any long-time heat outage. Again, we are disappointed that you were not content during your time with us. Please let us know how we can make things right. Melissa Sheil – Regional Property Manager
I’ve been here for about 6 months now and am fairly happy. I have an updated unit with stainless steel kitchen appliances and an in-unit washer/dryer but you can tell some of the cost cutting measures in the kitchen (cheap countertop) and bathroom (tub never replaced when renovated). You have no control of the heat so I’ve been sweating in my apartment when it was 10 degrees out. Biggest issue is the garbage collection. By the weekend the trash is overflowing the dumpsters and getting in the street, leading to bugs. I had a bad case of fruit flies this summer/fall because of it. The pickup is only once a week and for the number of units it needs to be done more often. It would also be nice for the small, unused playground area to be made into a small dog run. There are very few children here but plenty of dogs.
I’ve lived here for over a year. I am a 20 something year old single woman with a dog and i find it pretty safe. My downstairs neighbors are loud and obnoxious and are constantly (physically) fighting but that has nothing to do with the complex. My only grief is that my shower changes temperatures and will either burn me or be ice cold and i told maintenance and heather and nothing has been done about it. The laundry rooms are quite gross. About 6 months ago there was literal poop water in two washers in the main laundry room so i just bring my clothes to a nearby laundromat. Do what you will with that information. Every few months, pesticides are sprayed all over the complex so you have to bring your dog way outside of the area to walk them for a few days which is obnoxious and kind of rude considering there are hundreds of dogs here. My apartment itself is very nice though lol
The property manager is friendly, and the grounds are well-kept.
I just moved in a month ago & i absolutely love my apartment! This is my 1st apartment & It was the best choice i could’ve made. My neighbors are very nice & i was lucky to have a newly renovated apartment. I have not had one issue as of yet. I highly recommend this village if you are looking for somewhere quiet & comfortable!

Thanks again! - The Team at Chelsea Village
I just moved in last month and I LOVE it! I was lucky enough to land a brand new apartment with new carpet, kitchen, paint job and fairly new bathroom. It was perfectly clean when I moved in. All the units have a HUGE balcony and a HUGE walk- closet. Plenty of parking. All my neighbors are friendly. I work in Woodbridge and access to both parkway north and south is one traffic light away. As a young female I am happy to say I feel extremely safe and comfortable here. My electric bill (for September with my AC running 24/7) was $21. I absolutely love this complex and would definitely recommend it!
