We recently moved to Cherry Creek and so far our experience here has been fantastic. The territory is very peaceful and quiet. Lots to do - tennis, huge gym, several swimming pools, outside grills. Management is also nice and friendly. We’ve been working with Tina who has been wonderful during our move-in. We were choosing between several places and had a lot of questions. She was very patient and helped us with all our questions/requests. We are really happy that we chose this apartment complex as our new home.
Love these apartments!! Spacious and great location!! Love the layout and the pool is amazing!! Go see Jason, he is fabulous!!

So much to say here: Watch your monthly bill grow every month. It looks like a sweet deal until you starts rolling up on you with what they call - 'Balance Forward'. The first time you see this you had better high tail it down to the office and get someone to explain. I wish I could add pictures as proof. The pictures on the website look great. Let's start with the pools... The day the pools opened one was closed the next day because some one pooped in it. Today two are closed because there is apparently broken glass in the water and no on here will go get it out. What you can't see is that the buildings are covered in tarps. Broken down cars that don't move. One car has no license plate at all. The dog parks are mostly dusty dirt. People pile trash on the patios. People leave their dogs out on the deck alone. This community is not a place you want to live. Meanwhile, the management thinks the answer is to raise rent hundreds per month! If I could post pictures of the condition of the unit when I moved in: broken tile, dog chewed trim, spiders in the windows, broken blinds... If you need a maintenance man you can find one on a gold cart hiding around the property. Sometimes you see them speeding thru the grassy areas like they are racing 4-wheelers. Absolutely no pride in this property. I would be half my building has left since I moved her 4 months ago. More highlights... No speed bumps for the first quarter mile into the apartments where kids get on and off the bus. It's not safe to walk that part of the property any part of the day because you may get run over. You pay monthly pest control fee, but they won't actually come spray around the outside (or inside)of your apartment unless you request it. My suggestion is you request your patio and windows be sprayed every month because they are taking your money for it! Your water bill is calculated by some formula where they divide the buildings water bill by your square footage (doesn't make sense does it). You have to pay for trash fairy service they you can't opt out of even if you live across from a dumpster. Bottomline, you can get a much better deal for what they are charing if you go one more exit down I-40 to Mt. Juliet or any surrounding area.
I relocated here from Chattanooga about 1 year ago, and chose Cherry Cheek as my new home. From the tours I took, I thought my apartment would be spacious with plenty of storage to accommodate my family. However, when I moved into my unit, I was shocked by how small it was compared to the other units I toured. I have no linen closet or coat closet. The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke upon move in, so a machine was needed in order to eliminate the odor. There were electrical problems with my unit which made my stove spark. I ended up having to stay in a hotel until the electrical was repaired. My the thermostat on my refrigerator was not in working order, and all of my produce would freeze, despite making several adjustments to the temperature. My dishwasher also didn’t drain. Long story short, I needed new appliances. I ended up buying my own stove. The whole move in process and the fact that my unit really wasn’t ready left a bad taste in my mouth. After things settled a bit, I took notice at how residents are not informed of things that are happening within the community. There have been multiple roofing repairs made, and the gym was being remodeled. But no one thought to communicate these things to the residents. I’m actually terminating my lease early and paying the additional fees to do so. People pay so much nowadays to have a place to call home, so it’s a shame that landlords do the bare minimum while expecting top dollar from their tenants. Do better Cherry Creek!!
Maintenance crew are always friendly but due to financial reasons I can't say I would reccomend these apartments
Issues are resolved quickly and effectively. Within the same day of bringing the issues to attention they were resolved. We are very happy Tenants.
It's a good location, units aren't bad, and there is plenty of room around the complex.
The staff is courteous and kind. The apartment community is quiet and safe.

The staff of the community are absolutley faboulous, they were like family, best team of people ever. I moved not because I was disatisfied with the service, but becaause rent prices are going sky high and it was time for me to buy my own house.
The maintenance man was courteous and respectful off my apartment. He replaced my water heater and in the spur of the moment also replaced my bathroom lights upon request while he was working on the water heater no problem. My experience so far at Cherry Creek has been wonderful would highly recommend.
Rent is expensive. Also the community doesn't adhere to posted "rules" about picking up their pet's waste, so it's all around the premises. Furthermore, the fee to pay rent online is ridiculously high.

The staff and leasing agents were so friendly and helpful throughout the process. While I ended up not choosing to lease with Cherry Creek due to finding a place closer to my job, I still rank them as my top place I visited. If I ever do need a place in the hermitage area, cherry creek is my first stop and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to live in hermitage.
At current rent yes! The going market value seems a little high.

I actually did refer a friend who ended up renting. Unlike other complexes though, there was no refer a friend program which would have been nice seeing as rent is so steep.
Blinds were not installed properly, toilet leaked, and mail box key was a struggle. All have been fox by a awesome mgmt team as well as maintenance. Thank you

One of the only negatives I can say is that the appliances and interior decorating are outdated now. Updated appliances, light fixtures, and maybe even hardwood over carpet would go a long way in modernizing the place.

Everyone working here has always been quick with my request, friendly, and very helpful.
I was not impressed with the majority of the office staff I interacted with. They didn't communicate maintenance issues to me that they were supposed to inform me about, they didn't answer questions properly and seemed like they weren't really even sure what they were talking about. They just seemed ditzy and I didn't instill much confidence when I needed something. It wouldn't stop me from recommending the apartments though, because I enjoyed the apartment itself and the maintenance staff is top notch. I had to interact with the office so rarely it didn't really affect me enough to not recommend the community.
The complex is wonderful however the area is a little run down with no preferred groceries.
Bugs come out of the vents,ceiling leaks and mold,rent goes up alot,bugs crawl from under ur front door, toilet issues,laundry issues,this place is just HORRIBLE!

I like the community and it looked well maintained and has good amenities.
