Centerville is a large suburb located about fifteen miles south of Dayton along Interstate 675. I am updating my review since Iast week when I toured the apartments. I decided to move forward with the application process, however, I can’t seem to get a response from anyone. I have left two voicemail messages and sent two emails. I’m not sure why, but this is very disappointing.

I lived here for 2 years and had so many problems that took so long to be addressed. My power went out for 2 days because a breaker went out, my neighbors had obnoxiously loud dogs, the washer/dryer worked 1/3 of the time and the appliances are as old as I am. Very unimpressed by the office and maintenance workers who don’t ever seem to be around when you need them. I highly recommend stay as far away from Chesapeake Landing as you can!!

Thank you for your feedback. We try our best to get maintenance issues fixed in a timely manner. Some work does require scheduling with outside vendors or suppliers which occasionally can cause a delay in completion. We always communicate with our residents when that work is scheduled. We address excessive noise issues when they are reported to the leasing office. We strive for our residents to be happy with our maintenance team and satisfied with their work. We apologize if that was not the case as we take resident satisfaction very seriously at the community. Again, thank you for your feedback and we wish you well in the future.
I'm on my 3rd year with this complex and I'm really happy with things that most people complain about, such as maintenance, landscaping, etc. I've only had a couple minor maintenance issues, I was able to submit a ticket online one time and the other time I called and the office created the ticket for me. In my experience, maintenance has been excellent. The grounds are kept clean, trash is emptied 2x a week (plenty of dumpsters). The pond is HUGE! I don't have a remodeled unit, so no granite counter tops or hardwood floors, but my unit is nice and doesn't look outdated at all. My rent is reasonable for the area. The yearly increases haven't been outrageous. I like that my water/sewer is a set rate each month, no surprises. The office staff has changed since I've lived here, but the current staff has been excellent and respond to messages/e-mails quickly. Would I move here again? Absolutely.
Worst apartments we have ever lived in. Been dealing with the roof leaking in our daughter’s room as well as the hallway with water coming THROUGH the smoke alarm since October of last year. As a result, we have had mold that I was told to wash off with bleach. I strongly advise against anyone moving in here. You will NOT be happy.
Recently moved in and have had a great experience so far. They were able to move me within a week of my initial tour, and were very accommodating. Haven't had any real issue. Best part is the location - I'm a minute from coffee shops, the mall, the interstate, etc.
Conveniently located to highways, gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls. The buildings and grounds are well maintained. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to provide excellent service in a timely fashion.
The location of this apartment is pretty great for me, it's extremely close to work, right off the interstate, all my basic needs and more are within a few minutes walk/drive. The rent isn't too bad, they allow pets (although the pet fee is non-refundable; not a deposit) I haven't had any problems with maintenance or too much noise. There are fishing ponds that are stocked, but I haven't taken advantage of that. Carports/garage units are reasonably priced. The pavement was recently resurfaced, so no pot-holes and the buildings were all painted this summer (a much needed upgrade from the old peeling paint)
