Incredible community, wonderful neighbours! Everyone is respectful of each other here! So peaceful and quiet! The grounds are impeccably kept and incredibly stunning. The backyard is a beautiful forest. Despite being along a highway there is no highway noise. The Units have gorgeous electric fireplaces. Repairs are made promptly and courteously. There is no real waiting for important maintenance items, the property gets things done expeditiously so you are not inconvenienced. The parking lots have incredible storm drains, so there is no flooding concerns here. I have never lost power living here in any hurricane, which is truly incredible. Your cable TV and Internet are included in your rent, which is a nice savings. I have lived in a lot of apartments, this has been one of my favorite, most enjoyable places to live!! Current Tenant!!

Resided at Chesterfield Gardens for 1 year and only moved due to employment. Well kept grounds, quiet and friendly neighborhood and professional office staff. Special shout out to maintenance as any issues were resolved quickly with a wonderful attitude. We had lived in a large apartment complex that touted themselves as luxury, however the experience at Chesterfield Gardens was much more luxurious. Snow and ice were promptly removed, the pool was clean and animal waste was not a problem. In addition the trash and recycle areas were clean. The apartment was spacious. We had to use a little creativity with kitchen storage but it is workable. The cable and internet was upgraded and worked fine. Bottom line: Take a look at these apartments and we would have no hesitation about moving back in.

My boyfriend, daughter, and I lived here for 6 months too long. We were new to the area and were looking for a 3 bedroom apartment with a fair amount of space while we looked to buy a home. The apartment that we rented wasn't available to look at as the family was still in it when we visited. We saw the model and it looked great! We were promised it would be cleaned, carpet replaced, etc. before we arrived. The day of move-in my daughter and I found dead flies everywhere, a blunt stuffed in the peephole of the front door, broken appliances, broken blinds throughout the entire 3 bedroom apartment, the place had not been cleaned in what looked like over a year. Caked on dirt... grime... food... you name it. We went back to the office to find they closed early for the day. So my daughter and I had to go out to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the entire place. Before we started cleaning, I took photos of everything. The AC broke the next morning and it took maintenance over 4 hours in July to come out. On Monday, I visited the office and with my boyfriend so he could sign his paperwork and get his key and parking tag. They refused to give him a parking tag stating that policy allows 1 vehicle per unit to have a parking permit. We were instructed that he use the visitor spaces. After a couple weeks, we found that the visitor spaces were always full by the time he got home from work and would sometimes have to park on the side of the streets. 2 months after being in the unit, I woke up to my apartment flooding. The water heater in the unit above us busted and was leaking water down into our unit. It took maintenance over an hour to get to me after 3 phone calls stating my apartment was flooding fast and it was coming from the ceiling. Maintenance was able to shut the water off, but I was left to clean up the water throughout my living room and kitchen. It took maintenance 3 weeks to come out and just patch and paint over all of the damaged drywall. Fast forward 4 more months to the end of our lease... No one came to fix any of the damage from the previous tenants after asking several times. We moved out and our entire down payment was kept for damage done to the apartment. My boyfriend went to the office after work 4 times, no one was ever there, the office was always closed early for the day. I tried calling the office 5 times, all of which I was put on hold for over an hour and then hung up on.

For the past 3 years my daughter and I resided here. I've never felt so safe and it actually felt like home. Like ALL apartment communities you have your issues but I can say that one was never left unresolved or unnoticed. I feel like sometimes you have to go through some apples before you get to your really good ones and I can say Mrs. Debra and Stephanie are just that. Very professional, approachable and most importantly caring. I'm so thankful for the time my daughter and I had here along with our 2 fury babies. My daughters daycare was directly across the street, work was 5 minutes away and I will say Dollar General didn't help my savings habits lol I was in there almost everyday but it was so convenient. It was worth my first apartment!!! I'm so happy to have came across Chesterfield Gardens and I hope if you're in the market looking for an apartment that you'll at least give them a chance and see what they have to offer because nothing beats a peace of mind and rent that includes everything! Gets no better than that. Thank you Chesterfield Gardens for my families wonderful experience and we will always remember you and of course come visit! Love Tiffany & Madison

Be careful before renting here. In the last 15 months there have been 4 management changes and 3 maintenance person (they only have one) changes. When I first moved in I opted for the "upgraded" appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, range/oven, and countertops) and paid $100 more per month for it. Mistake. Could've bought that stuff myself for cheaper and never did get a new washer and dryer. Took me over 30 days dealing with the management just to get a replacement washer. The one in the unit was moldy, smelly, and when they finally took it out the machine was so rusted chunks of rust were falling out with every movement of the thing. There is much more (including the fake falling apart fireplace that was never fixed), but I'm ready to see this place in my rearview mirror with $2,474 less in my wallet... I'm active duty military now and about to retire (one of the many reasons why I'm move out), but made the mistake of renewing my lease last August (2017). Military clause only applies to active duty not us in-betweens. They want a 60-day notice of intent to vacate which is normal, but they also want just under $2,500 (equal to 2 months rent) to buy out my contract. I get it. My bad for not noticing the "all of the following are me" part of my lease. Lesson learned.

every month they try overcharging me for something. when I mention it to them they take another month "figuring out what the overcharge is for" then apologizing when they realized they just "messed up." water one month is $30, then next $110. STAY AWAY. theyll just rip you off
be cautious while applying here. they dig up all your dirt on background check. if your not a saint pass this property up or chance loosing app fee. never had any issues renting before.
