I've very much enjoyed living here for the past year. The apartments are clean and well maintained, it's fairly quiet, the management is helpful and friendly and the neighborhood is amazing.

Doug, Thank you so very much for the 5-star rating of Chesterfield Village! We're glad to see you are having such a great experience. We truly value and appreciate your feedback. Please do not hesitate to let us know if we can be of service.
First off, my fiance lives at these apartments, I wanted to get signed on to the lease. We both came to the leasing office to get that started, I filled out an application, paid $50, and the woman in the leasing office gave me her email ( ) to send my pay stub and personal information to. I sent the email the minute I got home on 11/11/2020, it is now 01/13/2021 and have gotten zero responce from this lousy leasing office, I have been hung up on when I call or put on hold for 15+ minutes. Second off, my fiance used to live here with a crazy ex, we told the leasing office we need new locks or keys because he has no way to lock his door or get his mail, also she has access to the apartment and she's mentally ill! Again, no response from the office. Thirdly, we came to pay rent and the office was closed due to covid testing, we received NO email/letter/text/call about this, four other tenants were outside and let us know of the situation and that they couldn't pay rent either, I think is is completely unprofessional for the leasing office to be closed the week of rent is due without noticing the tenants, if they did notify us we didn't received it, guess why? Because the leasing office has refused to update the information for my fiance and me, so they don't have our emails/numbers, everything is in his ex name and we can't access the pay portal, which we told the leasing office, so we have to pay by cashier's checks everytime we pay rent. Then, Chesterfield Village Apartments has the audacity to send my fiance a late payment fee after their office was closed the week payment was due. The leasing office is the worst part of this apartment, and I've lived in 4 different apartments so trust me, if the leasing office sucks it is NOT worth it to live there, the maintenance is just as bad, my fiance works from home and maintenance came in and kept repetitively talking to him while he was literally on the phone with a costumer, also they don't know what their doing, we have a leaking toilet and it took two different guys to come out and fix it and it took two weeks for even anyone to show up. We moved in and the washing/dryer machine both were broken, the sink and tub is clogged, there's a literal HOLE in the tub and water is leaking into the floors below it and yet no one has come to fix it. These apartments aren't even worth the money, rent is cheap but even then, the money you pay to deal with this irresponsible leasing office is not worth it.
Worst apartment complex I've lived in. Agents and property manager in leasing office are extremely rude and unhelpful. Do not care about helping their residents at all. Maintenance is slow to respond and will rarely fix the issue correctly the first time. Maintenance also has a habit of leaving your apartment in worse condition than when they entered, leaving behind dirt and dirty handprints on the wall. Amenities in the community are awful. The tennis court net was frequently down. The fitness center consisted of one small room with most machines out of order. On top of that the gym closes at 6pm barely giving anyone who works a regular shift to exercise during the week. The apartments themselves are old, poorly ventilated and slowly falling apart with very thin walls and plenty of bugs (roaches and silverfish). None of the above can justify the steep rents of the apartments which are raised like clockwork every year you stay there. There are much, much better apartments out there for the rent they charge and the ridiculously low quality service/amenities they offer.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. These people have over charged my mom not once, but twice almost forcing her to over pay. It’s not until she speaks to manager that she’ll get the correct amount. NONE of the leasing agents can do simple math and they’re Beyond rude. The managers are ok but the leasing agents ? THROW ALL OF THEM AWAY ??

I have lived here for nearly two year (trying to save for a house). I have a dirt path to walk through to get to my apartment. Since I’ve lived here that has been a murder or to a swimming pool accident and rowdy kids it is unfortunate that I have to be here because of circumstances but saving money they have increased my rent Nearly $200 since I have been here maintenance takes their time to do anything that’s asked of them they have cut down most of the trees around the apartments nearly $200 since I have been here maintenance takes their time to do anything that’s asked them they have cut down most of the trees around the apartments and now the grounds around the apartment that I live in look crappy there is literally a dirt path that turns into a mud ‘s mom that I have to walk through because they will not fix the concrete walkway there are issues with roaches not to mention the unruly neighbors It’s just a real shame that people actually think about moving here please don’t do it
Do not believe the photos online. When touring the complex, we were only shown the front half of the property, which is in okay condition. The back half, however, is not. The grounds are poorly kept and covered in trash. The apartment decks and patios are half-heartedly repaired, with uneven surfaces and mismatched boards. Wall damages are clearly not fixed, just covered in a sloppy layer of paint. The maintenance staff is rude and inattentive. Our dryer stopped working and we were told to “just try another setting” until the entire machine died. Our upstairs neighbors’ shower leaked, leaving a hole in our bathroom ceiling that has yet to be fixed, even after two months and numerous complaints. The walls are paper thin and we can hear every step our neighbors take. We have complained multiple times about noise levels around us (kids yelling and screaming and banging on doors at all hours of the night, music blasting 24/7), but no changes have occurred. When first moving in, bugs were a problem. Although we were told that the apartments were treated for bugs, that was clearly not the case. We regularly continue to spray for them ourselves. The apartments are far overpriced for poor quality. The only redeeming aspect of the complex is office staff. My interactions with them have been relatively positive, although I am aware from other reviews that this is not always the case. We will absolutely not be renewing our lease.
I have now been living here a year an half. i renewed my lease , at the maintenance office you can always count on Jessica to get things done . In the office Adriana is the go to person.that is my opinion and i stand by it ,i enjoy living here
DO NOT MOVE HERE! Our AC only worked the first month of the summer. It's been broken ever since & we've been here 1 year and a half. We've all accumulated health issues because it's too hot in here. It's 95 degrees. I can't even open my window because the maintainence man who was supposed to fix the frame did not fix it & everytime I try & open it to let some of the hot air out the frame fall apart, which means I can't close it to keep spiders out, because - oh yeah- the screen on my window was also never installed correctly. I'm constantly having to flip circuit breakers. Electricity in certain rooms will shut off for no reason. One of our neighbors moved out & now all of a sudden we have roaches. I hate it here. Don't let the positive reviews fool you. This place is a joke.
I've been living here about 19 months now, and I never had any major problems. My neighbors were quiet and very polite. The majority of the times I've been here, has been quiet overall. I've really been impress with the customer service, especially from the consultant "JOY"! She has been very professional, courteous and resourceful. She was always willing to go the extra mile, to assist me with any minor issues. Plus, it was a nice to "Chop it up" every now and then, when I was there in the office. Chesterfield Village has real winner with JOY on the team. -Terry
Not a great places to live unless you want you car vandalized, and annoyed with the operation of the facility . #BetterOfBuying Glad this lease is almost over.. Had more problems and have lost more $$$ from missed work in this place then what its worth. Im actually home from work today - missing a days work because they plowed both my cars in ....Guess what Chesterfield Village if i wanted to to snow removal i wouldnt have moved in an apt . I have to now only dig out my car but i have to dig out the parking lot snow also that wan put in front og my car. Maintenance put dings in my new car with leave blower and my new car was also vandalized. Not to mention several visits in the middle of the night/ early morning - 2 From the US MARSHALL 1 from the Sheriff Dept. mold - broken tub- shotty shower head- drafty like nd out house and the list goes on- and on- and this is only month 6- Doing the count down to get out of here !!!!!!!! - Do yourself a favor dont move here !!!!
I have lived here for almost 2yrs, I have never had any problems with my neighbors or the people in the office. when I call maintenance they are on it!!! I like the area and the apartments and would highly recommend them. I feel safe here, the police do patrol the area and it's quiet here; I don't know what these other people are talking about, people being shot?
In the last month 2 people have been shot. I think the area needs a little more police presence.
While the rent was semi reasonable when I moved in 2 years ago, it's been increased significantly since. Meanwhile, customer service is third rate at best. The building extriors have not been power washed since I've been here. The building hallways are also nasty. There is absolutely no pride in the upkeep of these buildings. The carpet in my apartment is beyond disgusting.
They need new management and a new maintenance team. The apartments are a nice size, but not well maintained. If you stay a lengthy period of time, they will do their best to give you what you need, but even then it's like pulling teeth with abnormal roots.
Chesterfield Village is a very nice community conveniently located near highway 288, and several different malls. Spacious apartments and the townhouses are worth the money. Tennis and volley ball courts, 2 nice size swimming pools, and a fitness center.
PLEASE Do NOT move here!! ( Firstly, I'll note I pay my rent in full on time every month and a great tenant) This is the WORST apartment complex ever! The apartments are not only horrific, but also in horrible conditions. However, I could manage that simply because it is what you make it, but the customer service is DREADFUL!!! They are the most rudest, impolite people I have ever met. Please do yourself a favor and NOT move here, it will waste your time and money... I can not wait until our lease is up, so we can RUN! You can hear straight through the walls, the quality of EVERYTHING here is cheap and quick fix. There was a time we did not have electricity for 4 days!! We continuously called Maintenance and they kept making excuses for why they couldn't come. The Office Staff are beyond horrible I can't even begin to explain.
