I have been living in a Casto Community for 13 years. I’ve been at Chestnut Hill for three years when I decided to downsize. I knew I didn’t have to look elsewhere. This is a great area with plenty of shopping and restaurants . The management and maintenance are wonderful. The community is quiet and well maintained. Happy to call this home.

Lived here going on 8 yrs and could not be any happier.So close to any thing you want. Grocery stores,Restaurants,Easton and Polaris mall, New Albany,Gahanna, Westerville,Freeway. Its all here. Wonderful. management staff makes you feel right at home. All maintenance problems are handled promptly. Property Manager Ellyse S.will do anything she can do to help you out .I am 81 yrs. old and have no intention of moving anywhere else. JON K.

I really liked these apartments! The townhouse is super nice and the area is quiet. The clubhouse I think has hands down the best in the area. The only reason I rated it a 4 is because of the way they do their approvals. First it is $350 (300 refundable if not approved), then the “price point” they use during the process. They do not take into account bonuses or OT, they go off of base pay. So if you don’t make more than $22 an hour, don’t waste your time and a HARD pull to apply.

We love this place so far! The leasing staff were so nice and the process was so smooth! You could tell they had throughly cleaned the entire apartment! The location is amazing. Some construction, but it is manageable!

This is not a luxury apartment. I live on the bottom level and you can hear the upstairs neighbors walking. Their floor creaks so loud. The walking sounds like stomping and booms that cause my doors and light fixtures to shake. Also, the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything! The office doesn't care either and will not address the problem. The good thing is the apartment is nice and maintenance is pretty good. Just remember to live on the top floor, because you won't be disturbed and you can disturb others all you want with no reprimand.

We just moved in a week ago and our experience has been exceptional. From our original tour, to our transition period, to the move in, the leasing staff has been very friendly, helpful and professional. All of our questions were answered promptly and efficiently. We went there to tour and the apartment looked decent but the staff member who guided us was unprofessional. She had a bad temper and was agitated when we ask her questions. If that was the first impression attitude, I could not imaging how would we have to deal with them for the next 12 months. Goodbye.

I am moving into Chestnut Hill this week and I wanted to make notice of how kind and helpful the leasing office staff has been. Any time that I have spoke with them they have been very courteous and get back with you quickly. Kamree, the staff member who has been helping me, has been very enjoyable and made the process super easy. Chestnut Hills leasing office staff has put my last community to shame with their customer service skills.

I recommend this apartment if you are looking in budgeting, very clean and neat environment. This place is very very close to all well-known grocery stores (Meijer, Kroger, Gaint Eagle....etc), Restaurants, Public and private schools. The best part is that their maintenance crew is real quick, immediate action and nice maintenance care on any issues or requests. Thanks to the maintenance team.

I came here a few days ago to check out an apartment for my family. Outside I saw a car with a broken window. I asked the neighbors what happened and it appears there is a car burglary problem in this community. I verified this with the police. The rent is cheap but you get what you pay for it seems. Not a safe place for families. I'd rather pay a little more and feel safe at night and when I travel for work. Not recommended.

Crime prevention is something we are currently working to address more effectively by developing better policies as well as continuing to work with the Columbus Police on block watches and other resident awareness efforts. We have two pools at the community and 13 different floor plans to meet the budgetary needs of most as well as offering many different square foot options. This complex has gone WAY down since the management change. In recent months, multiple cars have been broken into - including mine THREE times. I do not leave anything in my car at all. I have asked the management to work with the Columbus PD liaison to manage this risk (it's a free service) but nothing has been done. As a resident, we invest our faith that we are moving into a neighborhood that is safe and if things change, the management takes action - install cameras, work with PD, or hire extra security to monitor. These types of crimes (car break-ins) only escalate to home invasions when criminals continue to get away with it. I have hired an attorney to terminate my lease due to THEIR breach of contract. In the meantime, if you plan to move here, leave your car and home unlocked...that way you don't have to pay for damage to glass.

We are so sorry to hear about this. Regarding your comments about crime, as you are aware, crime can happen anywhere. It is unfortunate that it cannot be completely prevented, but we do take measures to deter it. One of the most effective measures we use is to keep residents of our community as updated as possible with community safety emails, we have hired special duty Columbus Police that patrol the community, we are also currently arranging a block watch with the Columbus Police . I have lived here for several years. When management changed, this place went down hill QUICK. My car has been broken into TWO times in the last month and a package was stolen off my front porch. I called the office to let them know and they could not have cared less. Will be moving as soon as my lease is done.

So, first I should say that I'm pretty easy going. I pay my rent and bills on time, so the fact that there's no grace period on the rent doesn't bother me. Yes, I said no grace period. I've had to call for maintenance twice and both times my issue was taken care of that day. The gym is nice and clean as is the pool. The only negative for me is the drive to work, but that's not the apartments fault :)
Very clean and well maintained community.Located on the intersection of Morse and Hamilton road making it easily accessible to popular grocery stores like Mieyers, Krogers, Giant Eagle. New Albany school is close by. Community staff is very friendly and respond back quick on the issues. Locality is very safe.
