Property Ratings at Chestnut Pointe Apartments
Now, this isn’t necessarily the complex’s fault but mowing / lawn care occurs early AM & with every storm we were out of power for over 2 days. Consider this if you do not have any family / friends in the area.
I initially intended to live at Chestnut Pointe for a year but ended up staying for 3 YEARS! The first thing you notice when you enter the Community is the beautiful landscaping. Well manicured lawns and trees. The Community is quiet and safe: Pros 1. The maintaince team is excellent. Very responsive, friendly and professional 2. I did not have to deal with the office staff frequently but the few occasions I dealt with them, They were very accommodating and professional 3. I like the private enterance concept. You enter and climb your individual stairs to your unit if you live on the 2nd floor. No hallways, no food smells etc and the units are spacious 4. Easy access to RT 422 if you commute to King of Prussia as I do Cons 1. No cable choice, just Comcast. This may not be an issue for most. Especially if you plan on staying for a year or two. However if you stay past that cable special they offer your cable bill can be brutal. This was an issue for me since I work from home part of the time and need cable 2. No rent incentives at lease renewals for good tenants to stay. Rent increases are way above inflation. These are the two reasons for not giving Chestnut Pointe a 5 Star but a great place to live
We are presently in a two bedroom rental, and have been here for the past five months. We are extremely pleased with the unit, the upkeep of the property, the neighbors, the pool and the surrounding neighborhood. Chestnut Pointe sits well hidden from the main highways, though close enough to restaurants, shopping and places of interest (Valley Forge National Park). The property maintains a staff of dedicated professionals, and we couldn't be more pleased. If you have children, there is a safe and enjoyable playground on site. Another benefit, for us, was the no dog policy. This approach only adds to the safety, quietness, and cleanliness of the property (certainly no offence to dog owners).
