Property Ratings at Chestnut Village Apartments
This has to be one of the worst apartments I've ever seen. I have lived here my whole life with my mother and quite frankly we have had some of the worst service I've ever known. Our apartment has flooded out multiple times over the years due to rain and poor draingage systems. In 2018 the owner of the buildings had people come in and JACKHAMMER my apartment to fix piping issues that were causing sewage to come through the kitchen/bathroom sinks to the point where they had to completely replace the floor in our kitchen and bathroom (I have photos to prove it) and now not 2 days ago it has happened again. To add insult to injury the kitchen and bathroom were never fully fixed (more photos). So now my mother, girlfriend, and myself have literal sewage water on our floors and carpets. If you value yourself or your money/life in any capacity DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! If i could give zero or negative stars I would, but that isn't an option.
We signed a lease. We hired movers. We called Peco. We called FIOS. We did not get the key. We have no access to the apartment. We were told repairs were being made, we will get the key on Sunday. Why weren't the repairs made early in Sept? They took our money right away. I am all packed.,Barbara, the apartment manager, had us come at 4pm with rush hour traffic. If I do not get the key on Sunday (or before), I am asking for all my money back ($3150.00) plus the money I paid the movers. As of now, I am VERY dissatisfied. Marc Pearlingi
