Chickahominy Bluff Apartments - Tax Credit

Chris has ideal qualities of what a property manager should be! Chickahominy is fortunate to have him. He is responsive to phone calls and emails, goes the extra mile for residents, and has excellent customer service skills. We like that he walks through the community ensuring that the property is running efficiently.

My family and I have been residents of Chickahominy Bluff Apartments for the past two years and Grady Management has been our landlord for the past 11 plus years. Chris has exceptional interpersonal qualities that really make a resident feel valued. Although sometimes things don't always go as planned, he strives to always lend a helping hand, is very patient and compassionate at what he does and it really shows. He is a true team player. When we were perspective tenants Jean made sure our specific needs were met. Grateful that we were able to seal the deal. She has a great team behind her. The maintenance team Bryan and Orlando always provide good customer service and quickly get the job done. We appreciate the team wearing booties when entering the apartment. All in all Chickahominy is a nice well-kept community nestled on its own. We love that the community is pet-friendly. No community is perfect, but the pros outweigh the cons.

Like I said, I like it here. Chickahominey Bluff offers 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and all the apartments in my building are 2 bedrooms, if you rent a 3 bedroom you will be in a building with all 3 bedroom apts. I do enjoy living here. My section of the building is quite and I've had good neighboors. No one bothers me. Check it out you may like it too!

I really love the surrounding of Chickahominy (away from the world, smile). Walking, sitting on the balcony enjoying the fresh air, meeting your neighbours and to have your pet. Likes and suggestions: The community is very quiet and peaceful.

Kid friendly, quiet evenings, very spacious floor plans.

Apartments need to be updated (old fixtures and visually dated); Appliances are old and outdated; spider webs, dust, and trash always within the stairwells and in the common areas of the apartments; limited visitor parking; Likes and suggestions: Small, quaint, and very quiet; family friendly; staff is really helpful and friendly; routine maintenance is always taken care of expeditiously; grass/landscaping usually looks nice

Its dog friendly, if you a cat lover, I see a couple of those walking in the area. Likes and suggestions: I have live here about 2 years, its quite, the staff is polite, maintenance is pleasant and good at repair jobs, parking lot is well lite. They have activities for the children. They let the residents know of any apartment inspection in advance.

Overall, it was a ''decent'' living for the money! In the heart of Mechanicsville where all your shopping needs can be met! Likes and suggestions: The one and only thing that I did not like about it was when my new neighbors moved in above me being as so I was on the ground level! I understand having neighbors in the apartment above me but they had no regard and respect for the noise level they were making! Complaints were made to the rental office and I assume that they checked into it, but nothing was ever really done about it! Only complaint! Other than that, I really dont have anything bad to say about it!

The staff is amazing and possesses an outstanding attitude. Likes and suggestions: I like the staff, the people, and the location. I also love the landscaping. Such an upbeat surrounding that forces me to smile.

I love how quite the neighborhood is, the location is perfect for children. Its not on a main road and the schools are simply wonderful! All of the neighbors are friendly and helpful. I have of course had maintence problems since I have moved in but the staff has been so helpful and quick about getting everyday apartment problems fixed ASAP :)

I've been here for 2 months now no major problems, staff is helpful and friendly.

I LOVE this community! It is a great fit for my family and the staff is more than competent and friendly!
