Property Ratings at Chili Heights Apartments
My girlfriend and I had signed a lease here back in March and confirmed with property management that we could move in June 11th, everything was signed and paid for. June 1st comes, not even two weeks before move in and we get told that there is no longer availability and that they are very sorry. SORRY DOESNT GIVE ME A PLACE TO LIVE! We have until June 30th to leave our current residence and now have nowhere to go thanks to this place screwing us. I recommend strongly staying away from here and its sister locations or you'll take the gamble of whether or not you have a place to live literally right before move in. Completely pissed, didn't know the landlord could break a signed lease and do it THIS CLOSE to move in! THANKS FOR THE NOTICE THAT WAS HELPFUL!!!!
I love chili heights they take very good care of the property and are very kind . With some of the other reviews I have read , they are not baby sitters kids will be kids!
Found this place 6 months ago and fell in love with it. Until after a few months in and I started facing many problems. Nobody picks up after their dog, management doesn't take action against complaints, the laundry facility is ridiculous and the buildings are not as secure as they say they are. On numerous occasions I called the office late a night to report strangers hanging out in the hallways. One time it was a group of teenagers that decided to bang on my door and walls. Management did nothing to solve the issue and strangers are still roaming through the buildings at all hours of the day. There is also a lot of drug related issues here. I have witnessed several drug deals go down in this "safe" neighborhood. I have feared for my safety for too long and will be breaking my lease and demanding my deposit back. If you are a single young woman like myself, do not rent from here. The safety issue is not worth it. Rent is also really high for what you get. The apartment is cute but walls are thin and the bathroom is very outdated. Will never rent from Ashley Management Services again.

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback on our community. On behalf of Chili Heights, I would first like to express our sincerest apologies for your dissatisfaction with your stay. As a multi-unit complex, with over 250 apartments, we do our absolute best to cater to individuals needs as well as tackle any issues that are brought to our attention by our tenants. In your specific situation with your concern for people in the hallway, your call to the office was taken seriously and responded to promptly, as a member of our staff went out to assess the problem. The young kids, who were no strangers but tenants of the same building, were asked to respect the other tenants in the building, keep the noise down and go into their apartment. You were also given a follow-up call to ensure that you were not experiencing any further issues, as to which you expressed that everything was fine. Please understand that ALL tenants have rights and our job is to be able to de-escalate all situations, while being fair to each party. This was the only complaint we received from you in regards to people in the hallway. We offer an after-hours number to call with any complaints or concerns outside of our office hours. Any additional complaints would have led to further and-if necessary-more serious action taken by Chili Heights. Chili Heights strives to keep our community as safe, clean and presentable as possible. Each building has two security doors, with keyed entrance only. Any issues with security doors that are brought to our attention, are handled immediately as tenant safety is important to us. As a property that accepts dogs, we have to trust that our tenants abide by our lease agreement and take full responsibility of their animals, including cleaning up after them. We provide waste bags in our dog parks to promote keeping our property clean. Again, any issues with animal waste noticed by staff or spotted by our tenants, are dealt with immediately. We are available 7 days a week to answer or address any issues, and encourage our tenants to take advantage of this. We welcome all feedback whether positive or negative. After all, this allows us to improve on our end. Again, we are saddened by your short stay with us, and hope that you find a place that makes you happy. This apartment complex is relatively quiet at night so you don't have to worry about getting a good night sleep. It is approximately five minutes away from the well known Wegmans supermarket. The pricing for rent is pretty average, but you are allowed to have cats and dogs. There is a really neat nature trail located in the back of the complex for anyone who likes to venture out into nature. There is also an in-ground pool for everyone to enjoy, as well as lounging chair for soaking in the sun in the summertime. If you are looking for a nice place to live then I would recommend Chili Heights.
I rent a 1 bdrm apt. The size and amenities are exactly what I was looking for. The only problem is the mosquitoes around the creek and swamp behind it.
