South Nashville is a sprawling district covering just over 15 square miles. The community extends from the southern edge of Downtown Nashville to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. South Nashville contains an array of diverse, established communities, including Wedgewood-Houston, Woodycrest, Woodbine, Hill-n-Dale, Radnor, Raymond Heights, Patricia Heights, Napier, Glencliff, Glencliff Estates, and Chestnut Hill.
The rental options are just as diverse as the region itself, with plenty of apartments, condos, townhomes, and houses available for rent in every style and budget. Residents often choose this area for its largely affordable rent prices and its central location. Commuting and traveling is simple with access to several major highways and Nashville International Airport.

Sure, I can help you with that. Here is the rewritten text with improved clarity: - Gunshots are heard every other night. - Although you have paid for parking, there is a possibility of your vehicle being towed due to the negligence of someone in the office. - The unnecessary attitudes encountered when visiting the leasing office indicate a lack of care for the people they are supposed to serve and assist. - I had a drug dealer living near me for months, and the company they kept even attempted to steal my Amazon packages until I intervened. - There is an abundance of cats and mice in the area. - The gate has multiple holes through which random people walk at all hours of the night, which is very unsettling. - Our mailbox was vandalized, causing our mail to be suspended for two weeks, and it continues to be damaged. - When the snow hit, we were all stranded on an icy hill for days. - However, I will also highlight the positive aspects. - The maintenance staff is respectful and efficient when fixing repairs. - Neighbors tend to respect each other's privacy and everyone does their own thing. - majority of the people over here are families and working class people

The apartments have a mice problem. You can hear them in the walls. When you call the office to tell them about them they act like it’s the first time they heard about them.
There was 2 issues I asked to be fixed before I moved in. I have been here over 2 months. Neither has been done. Also their is someone close to my apartment that smokes marijuana. It comes in my apartment and I have to smell it. I have told them multiple times to please fix so I don't have to smell it in MY APARTMENT. I don't care about someone smoking it I just don't want to smell it in my apartment. I have been trying to get another issue fixed and they refuse to fix and or look at it. If I could get out of this lease I be gone from here.
Me and my roommate knew from the get go this was gonna be a pretty mediocre living area, but there is good and bad things about living here worth noting. the good: So its quiet for the most part you never hear people around except occationally on weekends with music, the fitness center is nice and varied in equipment and the community looks ok. You are close to a few things so if you get bored theres the mall, the cheap theater (2 dollars per ticket) and lots of eating establishments and grocery stores close by(walking distance if you like to walk like me). the area is on a hill so you get a nice view if you live on the edge like I do, and apart from cats I haven't had any outside pest problems. They changed hands when we moved a year and a half ago and have just now started looking pretty good, they are improving a lot of the visual appeal and the safety. The bad: my roommate has fought with the office staff repeatedly because they are pretty lethargic much like a fat Garfield not wanting to go across the room to use a litter box but like an ottie to take your rent like its food. Maintenance tries to fix everything as cheaply as possible, and they where understaffed or still are I don't know since I moved there. They say they are gated but the gate has been out for years, when they activate it they re open it permanently because people don't want to use their cards so instead of enforcing it they rather risk our safety and have us stick to parking a few buildings over every day. There is never parking because its not assigned, I once parked close to the entrance and I live almost 7 buildings away. when I moved there my window looks like someone jazzed all over the glass its an oxidation issue between the glass, but you know I like looking outside my window they gave me a great view and I can't see it from my room because of the weird issue, when I reported it I was told they are not willing to replace the glass because they did not want to pay for it, also when the cute redhead of maintenance enters a unit he leaves a smell of ashtray that doesn't seem to want to leave. all around its nice enough we want to stay but it really could be better, we don't move because it would cost more to move and because I like the location.
Chimneytop doesn't have the best views or the most entertainment, but if your looking for a nice quiet place to lay your head comfortably then look no further. I could Leave my front door unlocked all night and have no worries. I really enjoy the area, near so many restaurants to eat. Like Ihop, and steak & shake. Even Shoneys and Olive Garden. There's a small market down the street and 3 gas stations across bell road. All you need is close by and you don't have to worry about safety. I strongly recommend this apartment complex.
The apartment has very old appliances, the outside gate does not work, and the breeze ways are filthy. I wanted to move out the second week I was there and as soon as I can leave i will never look back.
Me and my sister have lived her for 2 years. When we first moved in, everything was fine. As a matter of fact, the whole first year was fine but after we resigned our lease, that's when everything started to fall a part. After we resigned, they upped our rent only to tell us 6 months later that they had lost the lease that we signed so they had to honor the one that they had on file (which was the one that we signed when we first moved in). Instead of using simple math to calculate what they owed us for the over payments, they we through a million different methods to try to calculate it. It took about 4 months to get back what we were owed in full. Also the maintenance is TERRIBLE. We live in a basement level apartment with 2 units above us. Last February, we had a big snow/ice storm and somehow, our roof started to leak! We thought it may have been a pipe that busted, but the apartment manager said that it may have come from the top floor because she's seen that before. The maintenance came by and looked at it, and told us that he'd be right back and we never saw him again. He still works here and We've mentioned him not ever coming back to look at the leaks or water spots to the manager and nothing's been done. to make matters even more worse, we have a terrible gnat problem. They've sprayed a couple of times and it doesn't do any good. It's so bad that sometimes when I happen to be in the office, and I see people inquiring about living here, I want to tell them to runaway and never look back.
