From the beauty of the Tennessee River to the fun-filled Market Square, Downtown Knoxville is a neighborhood in motion. Those who might want to see it all (or just take an amazing selfie) head to the iconic Sunsphere for a 360-degree panorama of downtown, the river, and (on a clear day), the Smoky Mountains. The Sunsphere, which resembles a golden disco ball on stilts, was built for the 1982 World’s Fair and stands 266 feet tall.
But as impressive as the Sunsphere may be, it’s just the beginning of Downtown Knoxville’s not-so-hidden treasures. Other amazing destinations include the historic Blount Mansion, the Bijou Theater, Old City Hall, and the James White Fort. For those who enjoy a little shopping and dining with their historic destinations, Market Square, Old City, and Gay Street are sure to be a hit.

Property Ratings at Church and Henley
I've been here for more than a year now, and I think the building, staff, and other renters are a great community. The staff has expanded since I moved in and handles any issues quickly and effectively and do regular maintenance, like AC filter changes. They also throw fun events for the building once or so a month! The gym, pool, and office space are so convenient and a huge perk. The only downside for me is the cost of parking, so I use a city garage about five minutes away.
We are new residents and had a wonderful and very warm welcome from Chloe and Carly. They have been extremely helpful with our endless questions as we adjust to living in Knoxville.
It's been great. I'm not sure if all floors smell like the 7th but it's a strong odor. It may be someones cooking or just the smell of the carpet or something else but at times it is so strong it makes me nauseous. Otherwise, it's been great. I need to explore the amenities a bit more but I've found the staff to be SUPER helpful and responsive.
My experience at Church & Helney has been beyond perfect. The staff is accommodating, the amenities are beautiful, and you can't beat this location! Moving to TN alone has been a huge life change, but this environment is so warm and welcoming. I will definitely be staying here for a while! :)
I’ve loved living here! It’s such a convenient location with great amenities and very communicative staff. We are always made aware of maintenance even for small things like elevator cleaning. The building is very well kept and all the residents I’ve met have been very kind.

The folks were amazing to work with during my application process. They were helpful in answering questions and wonderful in following up with me as needed. The apartment was clean and ready for move-in, and everything went smoothly as I settled in.
I love the location, and anywhere in downtown is within walking distance. The complex is well-maintained, and the staff are very helpful. The parking garage is very secure and always has spaces available. Church Henley is definitely worth the price.
The building itself is so convenient to everything in town. The staff is helpful and the amenities are great. I was tempted to give it 4 stars because moving in was rough - elevators are down very often and there are limited carts available on-site. This is a common complaint with the residents and I’m hoping that the elevator situation improves. However, communication is great and usually they aren’t down for too long - but it’s still a concern. Love living here though!

I love living at Church and Henley! It’s the perfect location, walking distance to campus and downtown, and right next to the highway entrances for farther away destinations! The apartments are so nice with beautiful kitchens, views, hardwood, carpeting, storage space, and so much more. There are so many things to do in the building with a full gym and yoga studio, gorgeous pool, dog spa and park for your furry friends, many group or individual work spaces, a craft space, club room, and so much more. It’s great for hosting, or just adding to your every day life! Everyone who lives here is so friendly and kind, and the staff makes it feel like such a community! I feel safe and at home at Church and Henley!

Staff is great, but cleanliness needs to improve. There should be a full time cleaning staff for common areas and elevators. Often times these are dirty, especially on the weekends.

Great walkable location with lovely views of Knoxville. Beautiful, comfy, welcoming decor with upscale amenities, helpful staff and a friendly community. Brand new appliances! Elevators are a bit slow but they have stairs. Also, there is a great fitness room!

One of the absolute best places to live in Knoxville. The location is perfect: right between downtown and campus. There is so much to do and the amenities are like no other. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, I feel so safe here. Definitely one off the best places I’ve lived so far!
I love the people, always helpful and friendly. It still doesn't feel like a home to me. The heater doesn't work in the pool. The hallway is dirty. The elevators are dirty and get really bad on the weekends. People don't clean up after their pets. I consistently see a dog pee in the hallway and the owners make no effort to clean it or notify anyone. The rear lobby is dirty frequently. I guess I'm expecting a higher level of cleanliness.
Process was very easy and staff is knowledgeable, super helpful and friendly. They provided everything we needed to move in and start our new adventure.

The assistant manager is rude and inefficient. The ladies at the front desk are helpful and friendly. It is not clear why they are not hiring an efficient assistant manager given they are are asking for such high rent.
Apartment is nice, wish pool was open though, hoping construction on it is quick, Everything else is super nice especially the pool table and has a good location for me to campus as its a 5 min walk to campus
Awesome place, beautiful decor, nice environment and people and I just love living downtown. I wish prices were lower but it’s understandable due to the recent market conditions. The amenities are much better than other apartments which compensated for paying more per month .
